One of the muses hanging on the wall insisted I purchase, so I did. The experience was so positive I immediately dropped off one of my other tools for a new nut and setup. A second above average experience. I will be a customer for life as long as they keep up the customer experience.
Great experience with Righteous Guitars! My brother and I brought in some older guitars of ours that needed some repair and setup. The shop is clean, well laid-out, and the staff were very helpful in getting us taken care of and answering many of our guitar-care questions.
They have an amazing selection of PRS, Gibson, and more, if you’re looking to pick up a new piece.
I’ll probably be getting myself on the list for a PLEK treatment for my new Ibanez RG J Custom soon. Looking forward to picking up our repaired guitars next week!
Just recently found this dealer. So far, just brought in my heavily used Custom Shop Tele in for fret work. I rarely ever write reviews, but they did such an amazing job ! The PLEK process made my Tele better than it has ever played (even when it was new). And I thought it already played better than most, but it’s absolutely PERFECT now. Intonations from the first to the last fret are ON. I didn’t even know that was possible… like perfect. Thanks to whoever is doing the PLEK process at Righteous Guitars, they definitely know what they’re doing.
Great shop for rare guitars
Great store. Just not my thing.
Did a drive by while traveling in the area. Saw the ‘call for appointment’ sign. Rang the door bell and was ushered into guitar heaven. Played a Heritage H150 (unplugged) for a while. I was ready to buy the beast and hit the road. Was told that it would be plek’ed and shipped to me. I really didn’t want that. I asked if I could pick it up in a week when I head back to FLA. They said the process would take 3-4 weeks.
So, there won’t be a new guitar in my collection. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.
My husband plays guitar. We have been to several guitar stores in the metropolitan Atlanta area over the years. He is very active in the market owning a collection high end guitars. We called and made an appointment with Jeremy. He exceeded our expectations, took care of all his concerns. Jeremy is knowledgeable and his customer service was excellent. My husband was allowed to test the three guitars he was interested in. If there were any adjustments needed to the action, truss rod etc. they took care of it on the spot. Jeremy ensured that nothing could scratch or damage the guitar while we played it, we appreciate this. Other stores do not do this. Any guitar costing over $3000.00 gets pleked , and they offered a quarterly string replacement. You don’t get that anywhere else we’ve been. The store is very well kept and organized with a great selection of everything guitar. We will be a repeat customer because of the excellent service and environment Jeremy provided. Thank you Jeremy job well done!
Went in yesterday and had a terrible experience. I have purchased high end guitars all over the country and never experienced such rude and condescending people. Don’t waste your time going there.
Not happy with the setup service.
Nice place. A lot of over priced guitars. The service was condescending and rude. The owner Jeff Gans was very patronizing. Me and my friend wanted to play two guitars together and we were told there is only one guitar chord. More than 200 guitars and only one guitar chord, interesting. I believe I received such terrible service because they did not believe me to be capable of purchasing a guitar. So if you don’t drive up in a BMW and flash a Rolex don’t expect receive service. I think I’ll spend my paycheck elsewhere.
4. Jennings Music & Education Center
Address: 3595 Canton Rd Suite 308, Marietta, GA 30066 , Jérémie , Georgia , United States
Great store! The husband and the wife are beautiful people and very helpful! Thanks for being so nice.
Totally awesome store. Great selection of guitars and effects.
Ignore my name, this place was so friendly. The owner and workers were extremely friendly and waited for us when we were coming from NC to get a cello for my school. 10/10 would recommend for your orchestral needs ❤️❤️
Nice store. Very friendly and helpful. If I ever consider leasons for anything, I’d definitely consider them.
Edit: I was called the day of this review and my issues resolved within the week. I have never received such a quick response to a complaint and it counts for a lot in my mind. I can tell that their reputation and customer satisfaction is important. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding my previous experiences and change my review. I’m not sure why the ball was dropped previously but they made sure to fix the problem and apologize. Everyone makes mistakes but their willingness to take responsibility and handle the situation was refreshing.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! I signed up for a lease to own plan for a bass at this store. The plan is supposed to include repairs and a size upgrade because my son is 13 and still growing. About 8 months into the plan the bridge was broken on the bass (a simple fix) and I was told to expect 3 weeks for repairs. 3 weeks turned into several months. I had to start going in person everyday and basically harassing the staff to give him his bass. They never gave him his bass back. They gave him a very beat up bass and told me not to worry about the appearance as he would not keep this bass and would have one in better condition once the contract was up as the size would be upgraded. However, once I took the bass home to my son he informed me that this bass was smaller than the original one he was given and so he couldn’t practice at all. I informed the store of this in August, it is now January. The store is completely unresponsive and unless I start harassing them again, they’ll leave me with a product I can’t use but still charge me monthly for it.
The people there are very friendly, courteous
These people were extremely rude and impatient this evening. I was trying to reach a salesman that left another store. I need a cello but I will not buy from these people. Instead of trying to sell me something they simply hung up in my face. I called right back thinking it was a mistake and they were not kind. They lack good communication skills and have no customer service skills at all. I was expecting them to say, “… the person you are looking for does not work here but we would love to assist you with a purchase”.
Way over priced !!!!! My son in high school needed a mouth piece for his instrument. Jennings wanted to charge almost $70. You can get them for $20 in Kennesaw and YES they are acceptable and standard in the class room. Wow! I am so tired of this area trying to over charge.
5. Music Masters
Address: 1806 Russell Pkwy Ste 700, Warner Robins, GA 31088 , Jérémie , Georgia , United States
Great selection of instruments, accessories, and other things!
Music Masters is our go to place in Warner Robins for all our music needs. From cable ends, to boutique guitars and anything in between. Nice, experienced people who give lessons. Shop local and support our small businesses!
Always helpful!!
Great deals, great service. It’s always nice to have a local, hometown music store for that personal touch. Lessons are also available. Wish there was a bigger selection there, though–go buy some stuff there so they can afford more space! 🙂
Went in to get some supplies for taking care of a trumpet. They didnt have a huge variety but they did gave neat grab and go packs. They did, however, have a huge selection of guitars, ukuleles and other strings as well as a few brass and woodwinds.
Nice music shop. We are pleased with a kid friendly guitar lessons taught by Mr. Mike.
Update:Feb 2022. Still attending lessons and my child has taken a liking to guitar. His finger placement has gotten better and knowing the proper strings for several chords.
Very rude customer service and nasty attitudes! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to shop here!!!!
I had a violin restrung there a few months back. Violins are better maintained by a shop that specializes in violins but I went ahead and took the chance when the folks at Music Masters assured me they could get the job done.
Although the job was done faster than I expected, the quality was very sloppy. First, the strings were not even in tune and the bridge was filed down unevenly. There were also some kind of oil or lotion spots/fingerprints all over the body which indicated poor attention to detail.
After I took it back, they insisted on redoing the work with a new bridge that i had to provide. Second time around, it didn’t look very different from the first job. In the end, I was down $40-something bucks and didn’t even consider taking it back a third time.
Music Masters might be good with other things, but I wouldn’t reccomend sending your violin there for work.
Employees act unprofessional around minors….disturbing experience.
6. Jackson’s Music Store Inc
Address: 5485 Westmoreland Plaza, Douglasville, GA 30134 , Jérémie , Georgia , United States
Very knowledgeable. My son got his school instrument. Different payment plans.
Very nice and professional people. Certainly willing to help however they can.
Friendly staff
Great bunch of talented musicians
Decent selection, friendly and helpful. I’ve been using them for almost ten years.
The salesman i had there knew HIS STUFF…. KNOWLEDGE!
Terrible service
Went in to look for an acoustic guitar, amp and some cables. Employee with beard and glasses kept following me around but wasn’t saying anything. It felt weird so I left.
I really wanna like this place, but there is a guy that’s been here for years, and everytime I’ve gone in he has been crabby about something. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but he’s not to cool to the customers anytime I’ve been around.
7. Earthshaking Music
Address: 648 McDonough Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315 , Jérémie , Georgia , United States
Very knowledgeable and patient staff!! They made the process so easy and was willing to teach and explain about all of my items purchase. Some were friendly and others were not but they all got the job done!! Definitely shopping with them for all of my music needs
Really lovely staff, I’ve got a few pedals and lots of parts at this location and they’ve always been so helpful getting me what I’m looking for.
Solid.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great instrument options for guitars and percussion. The location is not the best part of town; otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.
I called on a Saturday to see if a kick drum could be repaired. The gentleman I was speaking with informed the drum specialist won’t be in until Tuesday to take a look at it. Perfectly understandable. I asked how long could the repair could possibly take, which seemed like a reasonable question, but the guy I was speaking with had an entire meltdown! Started talking aggressively and rudely. I told him to relax because it was a simple question. I won’t ever do business with this company. If this is how you react to and treat people for asking simple questions, I can’t imagine the level of service would be any better.
There is a lot I like about this place, but there is definitely a problem with sexism here. The staff seems to be entirely white and male, and one staff member in particular has consistently been very patronizing to me. Without any prior familiarity with me, he consistently assumed I lack any knowledge or expertise. He told me things about my own gear as if I couldn’t possibly understand it on my own. He told me that I would be able to settle on one type of guitar I liked once I had “some experience.” At one point, while trying out a guitar, I noted it was out of tune. I was about to tune it when he quickly took it from me, saying he would be able to tune it faster than I could. (This did not turn out to be true. He actually seemed to have some trouble with the amp’s tuner.) This particular employee has been there the last few times I’ve been in, and from other employees I’ve experienced a remote surliness. I understand this is the traditional culture of music stores, but I personally am not interested in participating anymore. It’s a shame, because I think the store has a good selection and good prices, and it’s in my neighborhood. But until the culture at the store changes, I’ll unfortunately be using ebay.
We were looking for a pre-owned Taylor or Martin acoustic guitar. We’re from out of town and had somewhere to be so we only had about 25 minutes to look around. At first everyone was nice while we looked around, both of our kids are involved heavily in music so they spent their time there trying out instruments to which the gentleman attending (I could assume owner) was kind and attentive. Until we turned down sale of a keyboard, at which point he decided to approach my autistic son while on a small drum kit and scream at him for being too big for it. I’m no fan of leaving places in handcuffs, so I didn’t cave in his face, I decided a well deserved poor review and exposure to the public what a peice of trash he is would suffice. Trying Dirt Cheap Music nearby instead.
*update following response from the owner
It is fair to say that your employee had a right to address the issue, but screaming and belittling an autistic child isn’t the way to go about it. Furthermore, my initial feelings of rage as a protective father are quite normal and my decision to take a more appropriate route is not something I am ashamed of in the slightest. Neither of them damaged anything and nothing was kicked or struck with any kind of force by either child. You responded defensively and completely missed the point. To scream at the child in an aggressive manner, autistic or not is unacceptable and the employee could have delivered the exact same message in a better tone and achieved far better results. I honestly can’t imagine any scenario that aggressively yelling at a person in your store achieves any positive results.
So, I brought my project guitar to Ruth Guitars that I’ve been holding onto for years. I asked him to build it how he would like it. Oops! Turned out way better than I had ever thought! He was able to install the neck, wire in a crazy cool pick up, added strings and locking bar for the tuners. Superb work! I’ve played several of his guitars and they all have great action and are super comfortable! Highly recommended!
Chris at Ruth Guitars is pretty much the only person I trust w my gtrs. I play over 200 shows a year, and trust Chris w all my electronic work, set ups, he’s even lent me a couple custom made LG Series guitars for high profile gigs. His custom builds come standard w superior hardware including premium handwired pickups. From repairs to tone-shaping and beyond, Chris at Ruth Guitars always goes above expectations and over-delivers a product that is eye-catching, fun to play, sounds impossibly good, custom made to your specs, and affordable. Call him TODAY for any repair or maintenance, its getting cold out! You’ll want to get your hands on one of his numerous custom builds (If you can get it off his wall long enough I recommend the black LG model) and start spec’ing YOUR handmade custom model. Pictured below is the TC model w literally too many tonal options to list here. Your tonal palette is only limited by your own imagination. Chris can bring your dream sound to your hands! I wish I could give more than 5-stars!
9. Guitar Center
Address: 186 Banks Crossing, Fayetteville, GA 30214 , Jérémie , Georgia , United States
Great customer service! Chill, kind, and helpful staff.
Love music!
Lot of great conveniently located in shopping center
Good products and good customer service.
Not enough room to display instruments
Not that big of a selection.
Horrible customer service in Fayetteville, GA ! Long time on hold, rude guy on phone wouldn’t even say his name when answering the phone. Guitar Center should train these guys to be better with customer service on the phone. Wanted to purchase a guitar, now thinking other places I can shop.
I called to ask for information on the warranty of an item I purchased 2 yrs. ago because I did not remember If I had warranty on my guitar. when the lady on the phone pulled up my information on the system, my name came up, but no purchase of a guitar came up when I 10000% know that I bought the guitar at this location. so, I asked the worker if she knew anything about a manufacturer’s warranty and she tells me that they don’t have manufacturer’s warranty on any instruments but that there is a tech to fix things. But on the shops website it clearly says that they do provide a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, so clearly, she doesn’t know what Shes talking about. So now the system doesn’t show my purchase of my guitar and I won’t ever know if my instrument has warranty or not. she wasn’t of any help, maybe she was too lazy to look up information for me.
If your a patriot this store is not for you!!! No freedom here. Me and my wife went into the store with no MASK ON. We went and played a few guitars walked around to the speaker section talked to a employee about mics all was good. Went to the drum department and decided to make a purchase. The guy said meet me up front to pay. While standing in the front ready to pay I’m assuming the manager said you have to wear a mask. We politely said we don’t wear mask. He’s response was well you can’t be in here. So he wouldn’t let us make our purchase standing at the front door. I guess we will be shopping elsewhere for our music needs. Keep in mind you can touch everything every customer touches but you must have a MASK!!!! Bye Freedom of America!!!!

Joe was amazing! Great prices on their used items! I love this store! Informative and knowledgeable but not pushy. But every employee will offer help if needed!
Great customer service and great variaty of inventory, I always go to store in case I have any question and sale associate Bryan is always really helpful and knowledgeable. I really recommend going to the store browse and ask question if you are planning to buy any instruments or music gear
My son needed a guitar and I visited here with my son. Employees are extremely kind and they have variety guitars in the shop.
Bass selection wasn’t great, 4 of 6 instruments I tried were broken, and only 1 of them were used. All guitars I tried were in almost new to new condition. But got my hands on an LTD 6 string and it is one of the best basses I’ve ever played. I’ve never been a fan of ltd or six strings but the BA 206 won me over. And not surprisingly it had just gotten on the sales floor that morning. Huge shoutout to John, helped me out every request I had and is one of the best salesman I’ve met at a music store.
Friendly folks.
The place is a little empty almost no people on the store
Cool place to check out but be careful in the drum room there is a man that works there that is bald and has two full sleeves of tattoos. He is very rude! He will yell at you and will not let you play the drums. Better off ordering from guitar center online.
Visited the store to get instructions on setting up my dj equipment. The employee asked me if I needed help with anything, and I told him my problem. He distinctly said, “you need some instructions” and walked away. He went to handle another customer, then laughed and giggled with other employees for 15 minutes. I left the store and would never return there or recommend anyone to shop there.
Worst guitar center ever. I made an online appointment to sell some used gear that I never used. A brand new electronic drum kit. When I got in a tall black guy took my gear and printed something off on a piece of paper. I expected a wait because it was a Saturday, but after an hour and a half, I knew something was wrong. I asked an associate for help, and they paged the guy who took my items and he never called them back. Waited 30 more minutes after asking multiple employees, who didn’t know what was going on and didn’t know who took my gear. After waiting 2 HOURS an associate said the guy who took my gear went to lunch, and that guitar center doesn’t accept electronic drum sets, which isnt true. I challenged him on that then he said that they don’t have room for anymore. What makes matters worse is they took another 10 minutes just to find my drum kit.So I waited 2 hours in store while NO ONE even evaluated my equipment. Staff was incompetent, not apologetic, and I’ve spent a lot of money over the years there. I will never step foot in this store again.
11. Allseasons Music Store
Address: 460 W Cherry St, Jesup, GA 31545 , Jérémie , Georgia , United States
5 stars aren’t enough! They will beat any price. Will order anything you want if they don’t have it in stock. More importantly they treat you like family and not just another person spending money. Highly recommended for all your School Band, Church Band, or whatever band you are into to get you everything you need to sound great.
Great Customer Service, Great Friends of mines. I would Recommend All Seasons to anybody I know!!
Integrity and professionalism.
Great people really good service would have given 5 stars but prices are not competitive
At least 15% higher than Guitar center
Man they’ve got some nice stuff in there!
It’s ok for this size town but if you’re looking for music you have to order it. Very nice personnel.
