This is a place that helps people in need. They don’t keep things that come in for themselves, like some of the other places do !! What doesn’t sell gets sent overseas to countries that have nothing . They also use money for their food pantry.. Can’t say enough good about this place ! Items are very reasonably priced and stuff moves in and out fairly quickly…
Sherry Litton along with every volunteer should all be un-sung heroes!! This store is fabulous, all non profit and every person is a volunteer. Clean, organised and most volunteers are super helpful and very social. I’ve gone often every week or at least twice a month for 13 years now.. Always refreshing to visit and find wonderful deals.!!
Love this place. CHEAP prices. You have to LOOK..But I’ve found many treasures here. Nice folks run this place. I think they also have a good pantry. This is where all our outgrown clothing and other things go…they helped me several years ago and I applaud this place for community love.
Clean, great staff, awesome deals, and great selections. They have something for everyone!
Great Thrift store,good buys
What happened to all the items that we’re reasonably priced?
Had an extremely unpleasant situation concerning the manager and an employee. This place is very extremely wasteful. Very rude personnel working there who do not have any empathy for the poor or needy. Would not reccomend at all ever.

This store is the answer to my prayers. Marion il needs this place so to all of you musician and future musicians support this store and help it stay here. I am a guitar player and it felt like coming home to the way it use to be. The people here no pressure and its a relaxed atmosphere in the store. it is great to have these guys in our community.
The store showed me exactly what I needed.hooked me up with the price (no charged fees or tax).I will definitely come back here for my music purposes.
Great Place! Very friendly workers helped me find what I need, they even suggested the cheapest things to get.
Very friendly and helpful. Nice to still have a brick and mortar music store in the area.
Best place ever to me
Had everything we needed.
They sold me a violin for 2,000 and when I had it appraised the specialist said they cost $100 for a set of three. I will never do business with them again and I urge anyone to go elsewhere

Fantastic hometown shop jam-packed (in a good way) with just about anything you would need or want. Great customer service. My kids and I love going there.
I have always went here for my musical instruments and they always help me out with my questions and sometimes make it a little bit cheaper. Highly recommend coming here!
The best guitar store in the area! They’ve got almost everything you could want, and the staff is exceptional.
I was about to purchase a “outa sight white” danelectro ‘59m NOS+ on their reverb that was “open to offers” listed at $479.99. After I made my offer the owner changed the price to $529.99 and told me “so it’s still a good deal”. I showed proof that the guitar was listed on Sweetwater for $479.99. The owner then responded with a different guitar(aged white) listed at $529.99 and could not tell the difference… Overall I felt it was unprofessional to change the price on their reverb right after I put in my offer(my final offer was $465) while the guitar was still listed at $479.99, especially on a guitar that has been open and on display.

Exactly what you expect in a small town cafe. Good service, good food. I enjoyed the country fried steak, my wife had a good open-face beef sandwich.
Breakfast is amazing but tonight’s meals where ok but nothing compared to their Breakfast.
First time experiencing bad service! Stopped in Sunday morning for breakfast. There was a gentleman seated at counter an a gentleman seated at a table. Both had their drinks. The waitress was talking with the gentleman seated at counter. She never made eye contact we us an proceeded to talk. We waited 5 min an still not even a hello.
Was there 30 minutes and never received the food I ordered so I left. Dont know if there food is any good or not. Order was taken by someone who was working the other room and probably shouldn’t have taken my order, because it wasnt her table. Which the person whose table it was lost out on money.
Waited 20 minutes and still no service. People came in after us and got waited on immediately. So we left and went to Bonnie’s in WF and loved it as always.

Super friendly people & cute little place! Not too crowded like a lot of antique malls. One booth has an awesome selection of classic rock records!
LOVE THIS PLACE ❤️❤️❤️
Quick stop right off the interstate and an opportunity to stretch our legs. Small well lit and plenty to see.
I finally made it in Pickers Outlet Mall. It was so much bigger than I expected. So many things 2 look at. Alot of cute stuff. Some old, some new & some old made new again. I really enjoyed looking @ everything. I even had my 17 year old son w me & thought he was going 2 rush me thru it but he didn’t. He even enjoyed looking also. It is definitely worth the stop. You never know what you might find.
Pricey but ok
The prices was to high.
Won’t haggle with prices that’s bull .. to expensive in there .. they changed the past few years.. shame was one of my favorite places to go.. well not anymore sorry to say..
You are a thrift store and you rent spaces to sell for others also.. those prices you put can at least most times be haggled over.. all those pics with all the views I posted go to show you I been there many times and when you spend close to 200 u can take some money off and you know it.. your not buying this stuff for prices to go up its all used .. reason why people go to antique malls and junk stores to get deals and haggle.. your response was not correct and why are my pics under your reply.. I got lots of views on them.. Nikki Mac
Rude obnoxious staff!
The so called flea markets they have are a total JOKE!! Lucky to have 10 vendors not worth the drive. 95% of the store and vendors are crafts!!! Just a waste of time…..
12. Shivelbine’s Band Room
Address: 901 N Carbon St Ste 7, Marion, IL 62959 , Johnston City , Illinois , United States
The people put 100% effort into getting you what you need. Even if that means they miss a sale. Because of that ive done all my business with them.
Very helpful staff
The girls who waited on me couldn’t have been more cordial and helpful. I wish they had a broader assortment of the classic oldies sheet music I was looking for. But there is always the internet. Perhaps my age has caught up with me. LOL.
13. Front Row Center Music
Address: 1507 N Main St, Benton, IL 62812 , Johnston City , Illinois , United States
Helpful staff, and a lot of great stuff in store. I highly recommend this place!
This guy knows his stuff. Been going there for years for drum equip. Has used merchandise too. Lots of inventory.
Order online
They seam to have what you need. In music supplies.
The little unknown place with hidden gems!..
Has what you need when it comes to musical instruments needs..friendly service and knowledgeable..
Disorganized and everything is not priced with a tag, you have to ask him to look it up online in order to get a price. You may be there for an hour waiting for him to price each record or instrument you want. You will have better luck going to Guitar Center 20 miles away. Prices were not negotiable as well, just seems like a used music store should be more open minded to pricing and all.
Nothing in the store was priced. Took the time and found a stack of records I wanted to buy. He said he’d have to go on the internet and price each, one at a time. Gave him about 10 minutes to do that while I shopped. When I was ready to go, he only had one priced, and it was more than twice what it was worth on Discogs. The place was filthy and stinky. So, told him never mind on the records and I would buy the drumsticks and a kick plate. $16.09, fair price. Gave him a $20 and he didn’t have any change. Finally got so frustrated and just left. Don’t waste your time here.
Music store that appears to be run out of someone’s house. It smelled like stale cigarettes and was extremely disorganized. The guy running the place seemed to know his music but unfortunately I couldn’t handle the smell of smoke and was afraid that anything I purchased here would likely bring the smell home with me. Very friendly and helpful but this place desperately needs to be aired out.

If you’re looking for a decorative piece/pillow, a card/ gift, fresh flowers, or candles/wax, coffee/tea cups, etc. you’ll find it all here. Kind and helpful owners. I enjoyed my visit and found a lot more than I had expected, and my office is decorated for Christmas! Definitely look forward to returning.
Always great stopping in the music shop, great place to buy and trade at for your music needs
Very helpful and friendly service. Bought this starter guitar for my 15 year old and will definitely go back.
Pretty nice i like to stop in and look at the guitars. The employees are very helpfull.
Nice guy.
Nice little pocket shop to pick up some accessories and or a guitar you had no idea was there lol. Drum sticks are decently priced too although limited to two brands. I absolutely love the mascots too!
17. Rock ‘n’ Roll Repairs
Address: 707 N Otis St, Marion, IL 62959 , Johnston City , Illinois , United States
What can I say about Baldwin piano? Friendly service and a Southern Illinois staple.
We love Baldwin Piano – best prices within Illinois and across the tri-state region. The owner is wonderful. We bought a new Roland and we are so happy we did.
The rep was nice but the selection for guitar items was very thin.
My 2 year old daughter has been showing signs of interest in the drums. Being new to the Southern IL area I did my own research for classes & a teacher my child was comfortable with. The Practice Pad is a place that my child never wants to leave when our sessions are over for the day. I couldn’t ask for better!
Pure artistry. We teach children here, too.
Been taking guitar instruction here for over two years. Chad and Mike are great, and I recommend The Practice Pad for anyone seeking musical instruction.
