The staff is very friendly and eager to serve. So far I’ve always found what I needed.
I needed a guitar tech to re-string my acoustic/ electric guitar, with some broken pieces. He charged me the standard rate for replacing strings, when he could have charged me extra. I was happy with the service I received
Very helpful and nice place
11/08/2017 EDIT: No longer Music Mike’s, they sold out and it went corporate. Some of the employees stayed behind, which is pretty cool. I recently bought a breedlove guitar, and that transaction went well. Their inventory is really low at the moment during their changes and remodel, they didn’t have my fav strings. I’ll update after they become a bit more established.
(5 Star) Music Mike’s: Parking on the side street or in rear, from Brockton. Pretty cool place. Within a few seconds I was asked if I needed any help. I shop local a lot, mom and pop stores to support small businesses, this place def on my list now.
Probably the best customer service that I’ve gotten in a music store. The only reason why I’m giving a 3 stars is because they outsource there guitar repairs to someone who has absolutely no concept of quolity assurance or even knowledge of how to do a standard set-up.
IN SHORT go to the store for lessons and to buy stuff while feeling really welcomed, BUT for the sake that is all holy with electric guitar repairs; DO NOT TAKE YOU’RE GUITAR THERE FOR REPAIRS.
They used to be a good guitar store …they just have guitars with little amendings available . Out of stock mostly . New ownership made changes. So i go to giitar center or sam ash now
Ok. Went in today to pick up my son’s clarinet for band.. place my order online witch is nice. Thumbs up for that. Walk in to store to pick up instrument. Tell me why when i open the case for the clarinet the poor thing look like it’s been neglected for years. Not clean look like water spots all over it. Before i signed anything i had them replaced it before i took it home.. the second one was just as bad as the first one … Just a heads up all ways check your instruments before leaving store… Update make sure you bring back your instrument before they charge. Your month. Once charged you get no refund or prorate
The most low budget guitars and equipment that I’ve ever seen inside a music store. Good luck finding a parking space without getting into an accident. Worst parking area ever. The woman that helps to run the place is extremely rude. Not a place to go if you want to try out an instrument before you buy it.
5. Primo Sound Systems
Address: 5909 Jurupa Ave # F, Riverside, CA 92504 , Jurupa Valley , California , United States
Kurt is a dedicated audio professional very into the needs of your project driven to make sure your satisfied with his service that means you can ask any question and he’ll hang out help you with the best Acoustics best sound setup he shoots from the hip though so don’t ask him for his opinion on your music if you’re not ready to hear the truth just saying
Primo is the best local rehearsal studio in the area, hands down. The customer service is excellent, they really care about music and musicians and definitely do their part to keep local music alive and well. The rooms are some of the largest around. My favorite features are the raised stages in the rooms and the full concert style lighting systems. When we practice here, it feels like playing a show and allows us to be more comfortable in a live setting. Thank you Primo! You rock!
Primo is indeed the best place around for band rehearsal or any artist looking to dial in their sound. Kurt the owner and operator has an incredible wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things sound related. He has for years treated me so great and just makes coming to Riverside worth it even if the show is in another county! Primo will always be the home of Born Live and any other band I work with in So Cal.
Poor service and poor selection of audio equipment

Great customer service and amazing prices! Will purchase from them again!
Very good experience ordering from this company. Everything was very quick and great costumer service. I get all my guitar equipment from here and it is a lot cheaper than guitar center or other local places. 10/10 would order from them again and would suggest anyone to order from them!
Many ranges to buy the music Instruments, good quality, good customer service. Top priority to find the music instruments at this shop.
My rule is, never buy expensive things online. The rules and regulations and fine print is not written or intended to protect you. I bought a mandolin, and I tossed the box. That $10 box voided my return. They knew it would. When the mandolin then didn’t seem right, and it came unplayable for a $1,300 price tag. They say “try it out” but how can you try something that needs work done to it? And by doing anything to it you will void the return. My first review sent them into a panic because they called me relentlessly to ensure I was satisfied but really all they want to know is if you threw away the shipping box because that voids the return and it’s the buyers fault. Since it was bought through Play123 and it’s a Washburn instrument, Washburn won’t do anything except give me another one, but both companies make out since there is no way to return the instrument because I didn’t buy it straight from them, for the same price. Play123 then tried to get the legal team involved and I got nervous so I took down my review out of fear.
If you want cheap stuff for a kid, or cables, or if you can prove it’s a shipping thing then fine, go buy from an online store. If you want quality instruments, which are rarely at instrument stores these days because the world is made of plastic, then go the traditional route and find a brick and mortar place with rare and high quality instruments. Not only will you be able to play and learn, but you will fore go the hassle of being manipulated into “testing” products at full price and if you make a single error in the fine print, it’s your problem now.
If play123 dares reach out to me I will write more of my opinions. Please don’t, I don’t care anymore. I’m practicing my free speech right and have done nothing wrong but state my true story. Did I throw away the shipping box? Yes, and I’m paying for it. Should you buy online if you are aiming for high quality? NOO, you most certainly should not buy expensive things online that require in depth experience.
The mandolin neck cracked in the first 30 days. Washburn took responsibility but it’s still not the instrument I would prefer. But I’m stuck with it anyways. Perfectly good, unused , and after 3 returns, 3 setups, and a lot of emails, I have a mandolin, and I would have never picked it if I was at a store with 10 of the same price tag to try out.

This place is my one stop shop pharmacy and shipping, keys, mail box’s,fax’s,all shipping supplies stop in if you need something Notarized too!
They’re pretty quick here, for being a newer store, but there is ALWAYS a huge line for the drive thru. The partners aren’t really very personable /chatty, but most of them are young, so maybe that’s why. Beverage quality was good, no complaints there.
It sucks that you turn off your mobile phone ordering and the drive-through is out of control that sucks, but I will still come here because you’re the closest to my house ♀️
I ordered a pumpkin cold brew and was extremely dissapointed with this
Walked in and they dnt take walk in orders only mobile orders wth!
They are extremely slow and unfriendly, 30 minutes wait for one coffee
Might as well drive to limonite and clay.

A great place to learn music! Definitely awesome, talented, and knowledgeable teachers! Shinta, my kids’ guitar teacher rocks! Very professional and inspiring! Also, you’re lucky if you can sign up with Erin, a very accomplished piano teacher at Music and Arts Center. My daughter is learning a lot of useful techniques from him. I couldn’t be happier with her progress! Both teachers are very dedicated to their students, and I can’t say enough good things about them. They’re absolutely the best in what they do. My children have been coming to this place for years, and they love it! The staff is so friendly and always helpful. Their store offer discounts to students. It’s so convenient because you don’t have to go anywhere to buy your instruments and/or music pieces. It’s all there in one roof. They also offer so many performance opportunities regularly. The atmosphere is positive and pleasant. I’m so glad I found this place!!!
Gives you stuff for instruments and it sell instruments too
I would go here very day but I live far
Really good music store. Only thing is that if you pay with a really big amount($100) for a small priced item($15-$40) they is a chance they might not accept it.
Poor customer service. I felt like I was at a rude liquor store.
Poor customer service was told we had a certain rental credit amount that could be applied to new instrument but that amount stated was changed when the final price of the instrument was totaled.
Very disorganized….

Andy and Marti were super friendly it was my first time into JKeaa music and I’m glad I went in this will be my go to spot from now on thanks again guys.
I came in here because I was interested in learning to play an instrument. Everyone here was knowledgeable and helpful and friendly and were able to get me started pretty easily. They have some nice instruments for rent and offer lessons. I’ve been to a few music stores and this is probably the best one I’ve been to for what I needed.
Excellent overhaul of my clarinet by Gloria! All pads were methodically seated… Being a player herself, she understands the instrument and what needs to be done! Thank you! The whole crew are super friendly!
Update: We had a recent issue with being given much higher pricing on an instrument we rented than initially quoted. However, the manager got involved and, while the price we paid wasn’t what we were initially told when we first rented it, the final price that we ended up paying for the instrument was fair. It’s a good store. There just needs to be more consistency among the staff so that customers feel that they can trust what they are told.
the employees who work here have a great attitude and will help you with whatever you need the prices aren’t to high and they have good quality for their products. this is the only place i go to, to get any thing i need for my guitar such as picks and straps. I highly recommend shopping here!
Things have changed at the music repair shop within the last year. It’s all about money and not customer service and satisfaction. On top of that I had a conn 6m alto saxophone that I took to them over two years trying to get fixed correctly and after shelling out over $500 I repair costs I finally took it somewhere else who guaranteed to get it fixed right and said they never fixed the problem.
