I was on the market for a quality ukulele for some time. Bounty Music Maui has an incredible selection of ukes for any budget. I found exactly what I wanted on ukes.com, one exception, I’m a left handed player. I sent a question to the shop with a quick response from Paul at Bounty; they were happy to string it lefty for me. I got exactly what I wanted, couldn’t be happier.

Very nice music store.
I was excited to buy a nice ukulele for once. I spent $400 thinking the ukulele I bought would be great. The same day I bought it, without any chance to play, the peg broke. I asked if it could get it fixed by the time my flight left, and they did. When I went to pick it up they made me wait a half hour even though my ukulele was sitting right there. I asked if there was any way I could either get my money back, get a new ukulele, or if they could check to see that none of the other pegs would break. I’m writing this because they responded with oh no you’re peg won’t break again, that’s super rare. But Im back home now and just had a second peg break, different peg from the first one that broke. I am a very kind and patient person but I do not appreciate this kind of service and I hope there is some way they can reconcile for an absurd amount of money paid for a low quality instrument.

Super-cool and super-chill Maui record shop. Best on the island by far especially for avid vinyl hounds. Great, friendly, and knowledgeable owner ready and willing to negotiate on prices for used items. Don’t be shy Highly diverse array of vinyl stock and cds in all genres at decent prices. Quirky and uncommon classical, soundtrack, and spoken word/comedy albums, too. Don’t hesitate to dig through the $2 album bins usually on the floor (bring a stool!). Great used and even some still sealed albums in there! If you need to ship your new audio treasures homeward, don’t hesitate to ask the great staff guy for a shipping box. (He kitted me out with a freebie. THANK YOU!–and there’s a large post office nearby!) Go Already!

Maui’s only record store! Great place to shop and hangout… Not so great at getting in Record Store day selections. But still… A fun record store with island vibes and sometimes life performances.
Good selection of CDs/vinyl
A vast amount of CD, vinyl & DVDs. There are sections alphabeticly sectioned but each section is jumbled. It takes time to find stuff.
