Always helpful, insightful, and friendly.
We won’t go anywhere else for band equipment, or family musical needs.
“You Rock Deno’s!!!”
Cool store
Very helpful. They are very well informed on what new music students needs are.
Nice selection of acoustic guitars
Best music shop.
It’s small music store with not much in there and some of the staff treats you like you dont know anything.
I’ve been there quite a few times before. As a child the owner was alright but somehow he just became rude after a while. There was a time when I was 19(9 years ago) and there was an 800 dollar Jackson on the wall that I really wanted. I brought $850 dollars with me and jammed out on it for about 5 minutes, the owner came up to me and said “If you put one scratch on this I’m going to make you pay for it, do you understand?” I know I look young and I looked about 15 at the time but there have been several times(like yesterday{let me play for 4 minutes and told my party to leave when I wanted to buy a practice amp}) that I brought money in to make a purchase of over 300 dollars and he makes me uncomfortable or says something rude. If you need a reed, or if you need a rental, this is a good place. If you’re a musician, and you want to try stuff out, drive 40 minutes, the owner has been rude to me for 15 years. I swear he hates musicians.
Went to buy a guitar but no assistance from the clerk was offered and large sign indicated you can’t touch them without assistance so we left. Makes it difficult to make a purchase. To be fair the clerk was waiting on another customer but just continued to ignore us and didn’t even bother to say “hello” when we entered the store. Not much available there in the way of instruments unless you need used amps, guitar stands, cheap guitars, or ukuleles.
Came in for guitar picks and strings and was thinking of buying an acoustic guitar on the wall. I asked if I could play it he said “yes”. I played a couple chords and got kicked out for playing it to “hard”.

For a small town store front music store Ric totally delivers with a wide selection of quality instruments, equipment and quality customer based service. If he doesn’t have it in stock, he will the distance to get you what you want or need.
I highly recommend Quigtone to everyone.
4. Brindley’s Music Center
Address: 836 N Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225 , Kearny , Arizona , United States
Brindley’s Music Center is an amazing music store for beginners and experienced players with very helpful staff and great items. The owner Bruce is very helpful and respectful person. The prices on items at Brindley are very fair pricing and great quality. Thank you Bruce and the staff for everything.
They did a great job getting my Strat up and running after it sat for so long. They have worked on all of my guitars and they all are still working as great as the day they left the shop. Very professional and quick turnaround on setups and repairs .
Brindley’s music is my place! Bruce is the Mad luthier who set up my Suhr custom like no one ever has! Beautiful work and at such a killer price! And let’s not forget the amazing amp Guru, Gabe! He took in my sickly Suhr Bella 1×12 and fixed all of her problems and left me in shock when I saw he was barely charging me at all for all the work he performed! He also gave me a smoking deal and saved me a lot of money by repairing my Shure Wireless as well. There’s nothing he can’t fix. These guys are top-notch and they will have my business as long as I live in this area. Cheers guys!
This place is cool. Ppl are nice. IN THE HOOD IM LIKE PRINCESS DIANNA!!!

It was very awesome service but milanos was cheaper books were 8.00 and care kits were10.00 and at brindleys it was almost 16.00 and for book it was 10
Fix it for the most part. Still feels as if the instrument is leaking from somewhere on the lower register. Still hard to push low notes without struggle.
Sold my 6 month old Guild OM240 cuz I was struggling financially. I paid $425 for it at Bizarre Guitar. Owner tells me there’s major work needing to be done cuz wood was dry and neck was tweaked. He said he’d hafta put in humidifier for couple weeks and he MIGHT be able to repair. He offered me $150. I had to plead with him to give me $160…The very next day he listed it on Offer up for $375. Call it smart business. Call it shrewdness.
I call it dishonesty. Only Guild I could ever afford and I’m humiliated. Regret going here.
I had heard so many good things about this place from other musicians, so my S/O and I decided to try it out. We needed our guitars set up, mine electric, hers acoustic. When we brought the guitars in, we were given a sort of turned up nose treatment when we revealed our guitars. Mine a Purple Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, and hers an older blue Ibanez acoustic. Granted our guitars weren’t the most expensive, but we both loved them dearly (Mine was an anniversary present from her, and hers was her first guitar ever). I explained to the gentleman behind the counter what was going on with my guitar (Dead fret on the high E, also needing a full set up, action lowered, set up with 10’s.). My S/O explained that hers needed a set up as well. We handed over our guitars, and left with confidence.
A few days later we picked our guitars up, and went home to check them out. It. Was. Terrible. They raised the action on my PRS so high that it was almost unplayable, and the gentleman who did the set up said that he did so to get rid of the aforementioned dead fret, even though I gave express permission to do whatever was necessary to solve the issue while keeping the action LOW. That could have meant a level, crown, polish, replacement etc. Anything to keep the action low. My girlfriends acoustic buzzed so terribly on every single fret on the top three strings after we took it in, she has resorted to buying a brand new acoustic, because this place left hers unplayable. Now most people might say ”well if they messed up, take it back and have them fix it” but believe me when I say that when we saw the condition of our instruments, I would NEVER trust them in the hands of this place again. I really wanted to like this place, but after the treatment we and our instruments received, we’ll go elsewhere. Please stay away for your own good.
Expensive and poor service. took my beautiful holton Bb trumpet their to have the 2nd valve slide replaced. it is a standard mass produced turmpet, ans WAS worth about $650. it was beautiful with a sparkeling finish. they lost my order and it took 3 weeks when I called them to inquire about it. i was told $40 to fix the slide (found out later that part only cost $15) and it would take a week. they chem washed it, wich i said to not do and it RUINED my trumpet. it looks like crap, their is 3 dents in my bell where their weren’t any before and after i called at the 3 week point it still took another 2 for them to get around to fixing it. in the end, they ruined my finish, put the wroung part on, and dented my trumpet multiple times. O AND they expected me to pay $85 for it all. they chem washed it because they forgot to write down the repair needed and assumed it was a was, and they charged me for their mistake. Good at smooth talking but anyone can seem like they know what their saying. they were horrabile and unless you want to over pay and have your instrument ruined, dont go here. o and my sisted paid $1000 for a flute which was “new”…the saudering from when it was returned to them from the last owner broke in about a week and they repaired it wroung 3 times before they got it right where it broke again 3 days later.
5. Guitar Center
Address: 1652 S Val Vista Dr Suite 118, Mesa, AZ 85204 , Kearny , Arizona , United States
Amazing i hope it says open they always have what I’m looking for
My son was gifted a handmade guitar. The bridge was starting to lift and we took it to Guitar Center to see if this was something they could address. We spoke with Jarod on the phone and again in person. While he was very busy, he did a great job of making us feel like we could trust what he said and he stayed with us while answering our few questions. I’m not a music person, but do know great customer service and Jarod is great!
Very helpful staff. Store is well stocked and I have always found what I need for my PA system.
Nice selection
Sometimes have to wait for service but once you get someone they’re helpful and friendly
I can’t even count hiw much money I’ve spent in guitar center just this year. Knowing that it’s really disturbing that the customer service at this location is the worst I’ve ever encountered. They’re very rude when asked for help. It’s disappointing and disgusting
Went in to pick up some rca cables. I always get them from here. This time there selection was weak and the price of them has more then doubled in the last few months. So Amazon it was for the cables and another local price gouging company looses my buisness. It’s getting ridiculous.
Lessons sucked for a beginner
6. The Music Store
Address: 2630 W Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202 , Kearny , Arizona , United States
Outstanding. This is only place I take my guitars. Brenden is amazing and the staff and very friendly and helpful.JP does a great job here and always says hello when I walk in.
I took guitar lessons and had a fantastic experience along with a fantastic teacher. 5 stars hands down.
Let me start by saying I have very limited knowledge about guitars.
I bought a new (fairly inexpensive) A/E guitar and it didn’t sound how I thought it would. I figured it would sound like an amplified acoustic guitar and not so “electricky”. Also the strings seemed to be pretty high off the neck. So, I took it to Guitar Center to find out a) if it was normal for it to sound the way it did, b) if there was anything I could do to make it sound better, and c) to verify that my guitar wasn’t a total piece of crap. The guy there didn’t even plug it my guitar to see how it sounded. In fact, he didn’t even touch or look at my guitar. He didn’t even get out of his chair or put down the guitar he was practicing on. He just said, yeah… uh… could just be a cheap guitar or maybe the electronics are broken. Then he took a phone call for 5 minutes, and when he got off, he asked the person behind me if he could help them. So I left.
I drove a few miles out of the way to The Music Store. When I walked in, I was greeted by the gentleman there. He even got off his chair and asked how he could help. Crazy, huh? I told him the issue and although the guitar tech would not be in until Tuesday, he still inspected my guitar, made a few suggestions, and really took an interest in what my concerns were. He even looked at my other acoustic guitar which I brought with me as well to see if it could use some work.
Before I left, I wanted to get a new strap for the new guitar. I was very impressed that the guy offered to hang up my guitars for me while I shopped. He even helped me pick out the strap.
The following Tuesday I returned to talk to the guitar tech who was equally as friendly. He recommended doing a “set-up” on both my A/E and my acoustic guitar and swapping out the strings on my new one to help tone down the “brightness”. I’ll be back on Thursday to pick them up.
All in all I was extremely satisfied with how I was treated at The Music Store. Their positive attitude and willingness to help really made a true guitar amateur like me feel comfortable. I highly recommend them. They actually made me regret buying my guitar online. I would have gladly paid more for their level of service (and probably would have ended up with a better guitar as well).
Great verify of sheet music and ukuleles and an awesome luthier.
Fui una vez a ver las guitars
The instruments we have rental have been pretty worn but still work well and it is an OK deal for the price. Customer service is helpful and friendly. We have been pleased with our violin rental over this past year and will continue renting here into the next school year.
I have been coming to this music store for years since I was a child. I know that their prices are higher than ordering online, but I’ve still paid their higher prices to support them. Today I came in with a question about how to get a simple cleaning rag, which was stuck, out of an instrument. The guy behind the counter was extremely rude did not answer any of my questions, told me that no one in the entire store had any experience with this sort of question. Sorry to say, but I will not be giving my business to the store any longer. I would recommend milano’s music, or ordering online.
“Jp” the owner looked right at me and said “no” to giving me a 10% teacher discount for an $11 red label string. Thanks bud.
They have nothing for the drummer! Maybe some sheet music? But nothing more!
7. Milano Music
Address: 38 W Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201 , Kearny , Arizona , United States
Got exactly what we wanted. Lots of options, and reasonably good prices on anything I’ve ever gotten there.
The service at Milano’ s is “old-school”awesome. Jim Minch and his staff always find a way to get my show on track regardless of my needs; way better than the crooks selling on line. Milanos has never failed me or my band. Prices are competitive and, after the sale, Milanos excels beyond expectations.
I have a friend who has a keyboard and he keeps breaking the music stand to it to it on a whim or rather an impulse I stopped in to see if they happen to have a music stand that would suit his keyboard and surprising as it was they did. So I purchased it and gave it to my friend staff was kind of odd the first person that said anything to me said are you looking for the exit. That’s about it.
Great customer service and great selection
Very good place
Wanted to help a brick and mortor so I went in and ordered a music book. Told me that it’d take two weeks to get it. WOW! could have had it in one from the net. It’s been three weeks and no book. Phone calls have gone unreturned or a “we’ll call when it gets here.”
After nearly 4 wks, I got my order. Checking the publishers’ suggested prices, I see that I was charged $1/book over list price.
Next time I’ll use the internet.
Just got back from Milano, had mistakenly picked up parts for tenor sax instead of alto sax on 3 pieces out of over a 200.00 order. Instead of allowing me to trade those two out (I was buying several other pieces of music on top of that) the front desk person said no “how could we stay in business if we did that?”. HORRIBLE customer service. BTW when I was there last week for the first time the gal rang up my 200.00+ order THEN told me about a discount program. No I couldn’t use it on the stuff I just bought, but it was a 20% discount. Since I buy a LOT of music for myself, family, and my students I paid the 20.00 (?) anyway, only to be told that they don’t keep your information online for the discount or instore. Instead they hand you a shirt. You must bring that shirt in every time or you don’t get the discount. The store is obviously designed to make the most money while giving the least amount in return. I’ll go back if I really need something quick and no place else has it, but not unless I have to. My son will need a new sax next fall as he goes into HS, think I will go to Milano? Not likely…..
Too expensive!
8. Music & Arts
Address: 2025 Pebble Creek Pkwy Suite A05-A06, Goodyear, AZ 85395 , Kearny , Arizona , United States
The store had a very welcoming environment as soon as I walked through the door. I happened to be in the area and I would go again. The salesperson, Sebastian, was very knowledgeable and helpful, assisting me in finding what I needed and making the whole process easier and simpler.
Me and my Fiance went into the store just to check out and him really loving music was actually excited to check this place out. We were immediately greeted at the door with warm smiles . The store was very fun and the workers there were so nice and informal, they even took us over to the other half of the store to show us they do lessons!
In overall really awesome music store, fantastic customer service and just fun experience. Definitely going back!
Good teachers
NIce store and studios. The gal working there is very nice, but isn’t so familar with their products and services, otherwise I’d give it a five star rating.
Three stars. There’s not enough supplies for a beginning tenor saxophonist. I’m sure my rating will be higher once the supply chain situation improves.
Old head must can’t hear himself so he scream talks. UGH. 2 stars for Chris, he was AWESOME 🙂
Needed to pick up some guitar picks. Entered the store with no greeting. The gentleman was helping a customer. No big deal. I looked around for what I needed and found it. Waited to patiently to ourchases. The guy was trying to sell a small electric quitar that apparently wasn’t functioning. Thankfully I didn’t have any questions and could easily go somewhere else. Which is what I did and recommended you do as well.
DONT GO HERE!!!!
Paid to have my daughters flute tuned up, pass, springs, etc. less than two months later a pad is falling off. I returned to the store and was met with a rude supervisor who told me to just call him Ty, he wouldn’t give me his name. When I inquired about a rental he told me there was no way I would get a free rental even when it’s been less than two months and we already paid good money for both a rental AND their repairs. Once “ty” was done talking AT me he told me I was being hostile after every question I asked him and then he just rolled good eyes, crossed his arms and told me to let him know if I would be leaving my daughters flute there. Absolutely would not recommend this place. I’m going to contact corporate as well. DON’T GO HERE!
