Decent deals that I saw for the most part like a $39 yakima bike rack that’s on Amazon for 3x+
Hardcover books for $2, DVDs a bit over priced at $3, but some Disney still worth grabbing for that.
Largest used bike selection I’ve seen, less than new cost but none that made them irresistible to buy.
Fun staff playing music related to closing up for the day, lol.
I’ll be back!
Awesome. Super nice, brand name jacket for only $18 !
We had a spectacular haul!!
Been going here for decades, but it has now gotten quite expensive …like a used man’s shirt for over $20! Used to buy a Patagonia sweatshirt here for less than that. Better to go to one of the closeout stores like Marshalls, TJ Max, Bealls, etc.
While this thrift store is higher priced than most, it was really fun to look at everything and find nicer things you rarely or if ever find at a thrift store. We went almost an hour after opening and it was very busy. I definitely recommend going right at open if you want to go here, as to not miss any thing you might find. The staff was very nice in answering all my questions. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!
Watch for good gear! Ski, snowboard, tennis, etc.
Seems pretty unethical- they say they are a charity set up to support the library but only 27 percent goes to library. Compare that to the Barkin in Hailey where 97 percent goes to their charity, the mountain humane animal shelter. The gold mine consignment store only gives 3 percent. Meanwhile, manager of both makes 130k +. Please support our local thrift stores and consignment shops that are honest and ethical – worth repeating, good riddance, the barkin, the attic, treasure chest etc.
We came in with tons of good memories and nostalge, but we ended up with a cruddy customer service. One of the workers here locked up everything early and was visibly angry when we asked to be let in, since we still had a good 10 minutes before we had until closing. There was a very nice lady who helped us while this other worker continued to be angry and visibly give furious glances at us. When we checked out, we simply wanted a refund… But the man claimed that “he was unable to refund us”. Yet for some reason he gives us a receipt. After more confusion, we go in again to ask for a refund politely and ready to wait if we need him to take a while, but instead he completely rejects us and then closes the shop in our faces as soon as we leave. I really hate this, because it was simply because some man was “unable to help us” just because he was grumpy. Those fun memories are now corrupted by one cranky employee who is unwilling to do their job.
We visit this thrift store every other month or so from down in the valley. Have shopped here since I was just looking for some dirty mismatched legos as a 5 year old. We have exercised personal responsibility and liberty of conscience while shopping through the last two years all while supporting this local business. In a strange display of power the manager chose our 20th covid visit, when the data clearly shows mask mandates don’t work, to kick our family out. Consistency has never been a strong suit of irrational people. Grateful for the chance to explain to my daughter how we do not let men like this rule over us or those outside their appropriate spheres of sovereignty demand anything of your body or conscience and how petty men conquered by fear love to tell others what to do. We smile and don’t let them rule over our day for even a moment. We respect they have rights and to put up signs requiring masks but have no rule over us. I wish them rest from the fear they have so come to love. We will unfortunately put to rest our patronage of this store. It was a good 30 year run.

Fabulous high end vintage designer botique! Items are in pristine condition. Like a history museum for clothing. The owner is knowledgeable and very nice. Must stop while in Ketchum.
The coolest owner and the most beautiful clothes you have ever seen! This store is the closest you could get to a time machine! It’s incredible
Gorgeous high end museum quality pieces! Must see in ketchum!
Cool selection of vintage clothing but have never been treated so poorly by a store owner. She told me I wasn’t skinny enough to try on a dress that I liked on the mannequin and asked to see my rib cage and have me pull up my shirt Infront of a male shopper.
Snobby staff
5. Java On Fourth
Address: 191 4th St W, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
Cosy plus quality. People should know about this place.
Nice menu and nice staff. Was open Monday which was helpful. I know there are staff shortages so be patient with the staff that are there…they’re working lots of hours! Our muffin and drinks were worth the wait. Look forward to trying the made to order breakfast next time. Also the signature drinks looked great I didn’t notice until after I ordered so will try next time.
With covid-19 restrictions the wait is extra long. Coffee is really good though.
Ordered a vanilla cappuccino and waited 15 + minutes for it and my 20 oz coffee was more than half foam and not even close to the top. Disappointed. Understand that cappuccino has foam but this was way more than usual.
Chai tea latte was watered down and cashier was very tired and complained about tipping over three dollars in a sarcastic manner. Short Curly blonde girl with a bull nose ring just not having a good day and wants to share that with each customer. Wouldn’t make a smoothie because she said she didn’t want to.
Nice place to go if you like rude people and a nice couch.
Walked 10 min to get a cup of coffee. When I arrive at 5:40pm was told they were not serving as they closed early.

Great beer and hamburger. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent selection of beer at reasonable prices. They have a great membership deal if you’re local or visit frequently. In good weather, it’s hard to beat the combination of their beer, food, and outdoor patio.
Best brewery food anywhere. Great location and super staff
The beer was great, bartender let me sample beer before I made a choice. Elk burger was good, fries were soggy needed to be double fried make them crispy.
The beer was ok, the outside seat was nice and the was ok too. I like a good hazy and what they had on tap was drinkable.
Good beer and friendly servers. Didn’t get a chance to try any food, but the beer was worth stopping by for.
Walked in at 8:09pm and was told by the bartender “sorry guys we’re all done for the night”. Sad that they couldn’t even serve a beer 50 minutes before closing time.
Not that great. Burger and fries ridiculously priced at $15. Soda was expensive and I had to walk to the bar for a refill. They asked for a tip when we paid even before we were seated and no one even served us except to bring our food. Lame. Atmosphere was so blah. Flies everywhere. Yuk. Just not an enjoyable experience overall. Wish I had my $27 bucks back, ugh.
Bad experience tonight. Everyone’s burgers were very dry. For the price we paid a person we could make better burgers at home.
9. Nourishme
Address: 151 N Main St, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
The soups are awesome with a fresh slice of warm bread. The gluten free brownies right out of the oven! Oh yeah! If I lived there I would be there everyday! Check it out….lots of healthy goodies. Nice people. Happy to had my lunch there sitting in the window watching it snow.
Nourishme has some the greatest soups in town. They have a brilliant array of local fresh foods ranging from produce to meats and so much more! The staff are knowledgeable, funny, and alway put a smile on my face by the time I leave. Whether your looking for delicious premade eats to go or picking up groceries Nourishme is The Stop for supporting local food and community as well as a healthy lifestyle.
Flavorful super healthy food delivered from authentic talent
Love the food and vibe but they have given me regular bread twice now when I have clearly requested gluten-free (and I have actual antibodies against gluten). Both times I did not find out until I got back to work and my lunch break was almost over.
The sandwich I ordered had the wrong cheese and bread. When I spoke to the owner about it, Julie Johnson, she told me to go handle it myself, rudely and dismissively, while she continued to converse casually with a friend. When I spoke to the people who made the mistake, they didn’t even give me a refund! If you want your order mistaken and poor customer service, come here!
10. Gold Mine Consign
Address: 83340, 591 4th St E, Sun Valley, ID 83353 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
Interesting little shop, nice inventory, and very courteous owner.
Love bringing friends from out of town here! We always find amazing unique pieces that are one of a kind. Best vibe and customer service. Everything from funky ski pants to beautiful hats and bags. Can never get enough!
It’s too crowded with racks
Kind of surprised by all the positive reviews. It was a great selection, but I don’t know how this place stays in business selling Golden Goose sneakers for $550. That’s above retail!! I’m all for buying used clothing, but if I can get something new for cheaper, that’s what I’m going to do.
Great stuff, rarely things in size ten. *sad trombone noise.*
If I could give zero stars I would. The lady working there at the counter was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a retail environment. You will not miss her. She has a rats nest for hair. Run away.
Very disappointing, drove over an hour to go to this place . The website said it was open and when we got there the lady walks out and says we are closed and they do it twice a year. Well it might be a good freaking idea to update your website. We will not be going back.
11. Ketchum Town Square
Address: 480 4th St E, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
Great place to hang out during lunch break or even reading a book with a cup of coffee
Loved this town and the Starbucks was amazing!
Such friendly people.
Great place to enjoy entertainment
Nice little park and a Starbucks nice
We love Ketchum In the summertime
Beautiful place too visit & the scenery Is gorgeous ~ our favorite restaurant closed down ~ Ricos Italian food when Covid hit & we were very disappointed their food was delicious & only other place we’ve ever had authentic Italian food like that was In Seattle. The only thing about Ketchum that we find Is the ppl.are alittle uppity & snooty. We are very down too earth ppl & sometimes feel alittle out of place & uncomfortable there .. but we just Ignore them & enjoy ourselves.
Lovely park in downtown.
They need more parking in this town. So let’s make a town square where people struggle to park.

この街は最高です!
Has anything you need for your stay in the Sun Valley area.
Poor parking
Great vibe, there is a little lemonade stand you should try…bring cash or hit the ATM at Starbucks.
Buen servicio
Everything you need with limited parking
Insufficient parking.
Way too much traffic
13. Lefty’s Bar & Grill
Address: 231 6th St E, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
First time there and the food was delicious! Everyone was so nice.
Best chicken wings I’ve ever had, had a burger too and that was great, the French fries were a little softer than I’d like, but the other food made up for it easily. I’ve been there a few times and have yet to have a bad experience.
Not really a place for a family. Good food. But I would have preferred a real bun on the burger. Seems like a cool place to hang out if you don’t have kids with you.
Its a bar and grill on par with the rest of everything in ketchum. Lunch time crowds are larger and order a lot of food. They serve a wide variety from hero type sandwiches to burgers. I hear the monkeys are good.
Loved this cute little bar! Like home away from home. The waitress was very sweet and helpful – food was good, beer was cold!
OK beer place, other than that. Eat at your own risk.
Basically a bar that’s not seen a good cleaning or upgrade in years. Food was ok but not worth going back for. It does seem popular with the locals.
Air conditioning was only running in the bathroom. Sports stations were breaking up and I am pretty sure it was due the the boxes being hot. Also rude guy taking the orders. At least the waitress seemed nice.
14. Johnny G’s Sub Shack
Address: 371 Washington Ave, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
If you are in Ketchum do yourself right, eat here! Perfectly done sando’s and just a cool spot. Well done! I’ll be back next week.
Happened to be driving around looking for some lunch and saw Johnny G’s sub shack. Very glad we stopped by and tested it out. Small family owned sub shack with a large variety of options. The club tahiti was awesome. Definitely will stop by next time i’m in town.
The entire staff here absolutely kills it. There is a constant line out the door (it’s nuts!) and they HUSTLE but still manage to stay friendly, welcoming and patient. Johnny and Gretchen are salt of the earth! The menu is great. Definitely something for everyone. Who else offers SPAM!!?? If you have a few extra minutes, spend your lunch $$ here.
Meh. Maybe for Ketchum, ID these are really good sandwiches. In the grand scheme of things they were good, not great. Sure, I ate mine, but it didn’t blow me away or anything. Also, the outdoor seating, made of old skis, is something outside of an outrageous hipster nightmare. Why? The idea sounds uncomfortable, and the execution confirms it.
The food is great! The service is awesome! The wait is kinda long
Busy sandwich shop in Ketchum.
Jerk at the register blamed me for a duplicate order when I resorted to a phone in order after their online ordering said the transaction failed. Might have good sandwiches, but customer service no bueno.
Will not come back. They have too many options and can’t focus on doing anything particularly well. The cutlet sandwich was one of the most awful things I’d ever put in my mouth.
Way too small and crowded
15. Gilman Contemporary
Address: 661 Sun Valley Rd, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
Only place I buy art and I live in San Francisco. The best collection of contemporary art.
Art and staff are an elevated experience. Keen eye for artistic voices presented unpretentiously. The work is allowed to sing. And people behind this space are thoughtful, down to earth, and elite in their representation of the work.
16. Warfield Distillery & Brewery
Address: 280 N Main St, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
Had a super great experience! Service was great along with some delicious food and some pretty great beer! Definitely going to be a place to go to again
Loved our dinner here by the fireplace. Had great service.
Great draft beers and the best pretzel in ID!
A great new addition to Ketchem dining and drink scene. I was impressed with the food
The upper deck outside is a nice place for drinks and a place to relax. The cocktails were good, I wish I could say the same about the food and service.
Absolutely wonderful staff. They were incredibly sweet and efficient in their work. Oh and amazing food. No complaints here.
Arrived at Warfield and had less than adequate service. The server was uneducated about the menu, drinks, and we were told our separate checks were “inconvenient.” The entire service was more than underwhelming as I served the plates that were placed at the end of the table to the remainder of the guests (10 of us). Underwhelmed, overcharged, and uncared for. Will never return.
Great food, but the beer is bland and depressing. I enjoyed the salad, and that was the highlight of my experience. I must say that, while these folks are clearly placing a lot of resources into their establishment, it is not yielding much in the way of quality beers. Let’s hope they do better as time passes.
Worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. The only thing I liked were the fries with fry sauce. Coliflower shrimp soup tasted like baby food, all five of the fish on the fish plate were small and aweful. Also definitely not “sharing size” unless it’s for two five year olds. Salad and ribs also weren’t great and it was extremely over priced. Would never return here.
17. Limelight Hotel
Address: 151 Main St S, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
Great pub food, awesome drinks, and service. The ladies there rock. Kitten, Alex and Kenna will take good care of you. Good for young kids early, good for those of us in our middle age, and good for people in there 20’s late into the night.
Very good service, decent selection of beers. Pub food is satisfying. This place has a cool vibe… Good luck finding a table. Worth it though.
The poor man’s surf and turf is delicious!
So Very conflicted! Service was on point. Two ladies behind the bar with attention for detail and great customer service. Counter point, the tomato bisque tasted extremely bland like soup from a can with parsley on top and the wings were quite possibly the WORST wings I have ever had. 75% breading and slimy. Don’t waste your money. On the flip side, the home made hummus was freaking magical and delicious!…… like I said conflicted. Some things were awesome and others really sucked.
Great food and vib
Good food and cozy ambiance.
We tried to order for takeout and a customer picked up the phone and proceeded to take an order from us as a joke. We then got to the restaurant and were told that this had happened and that our order actually did not exist. Wish I could give 0 stars, will never attend here again.
More of a locals place with overpriced drinks.
These newspapers are framed on the walls. The one by the Ladies Room says the word “Japs.” Most people don’t realize how offensive this word is, especially to anyone who has a Japanese heritage.
I told the bartender that I was offended by it. I was told it’s a historic newspaper and their regular customers don’t have a problem with it.
“You’re not really one of our typical customers. No one has ever complained before.”
So, there’s that to consider before you go spend your money there. Are you one of their typical customers?
19. Sun Valley Pavilion
Address: 300 Dollar Rd, Sun Valley, ID 83353 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
The Sun Valley Summer Symphony never disappoints. The venue is beautiful with imported stone & a lovely stage.
The concert conductor is amazingly knowledgeable about the music, the sound folks do a great job, & the volunteers are friendly & helpful. There are a variety of shops & eating venues plus the grounds featuring two ponds with ducks & Swans. Fun for all ages
Music at the Sun Valley Pavillion was beautifully done.
Beautiful!
Buen ambiente
It’s small slow relaxed pace with high quality performances events & environment
I will admit we Utahns have our own ownership of being rude. However last night’s attendance at Avett Brothers concert was a joke. The venue was horrible for grass sitting experience. The food trucks and restrooms were outside the varea. Two trucks for 3000 people? The sound? Ok if you were inside the seating area. The culmination for me was after enjoying the final hour of music by this great band..returning to our chairs and blankets to find the rude viewers behind us having dumped all their drinks on our chairs and blankets. We will return to Salt Lake City. It’ll be a cold day before I return to Sun Valley. This venue was great for those in chairs under the tarp. You poorly planned for those of us not seated there
After purchasing our tickets 5 months before the show, I was especially disappointed when I could not sit in the seats I had paid for because of the crowd at the stage. Knowing I have a hurt foot I paid extra for close seats so I would be able to enjoy one of my favorite artists, yet there was no crowd control and I could not even get to my seat, let alone sit down.
We drove from SLC to Sun Valley to see the Avett Brothers…one of our favorite bands. We purchased the lawn seats which turned out to be a big mistake.
We were the first people through the gate and sat on the grass closest to the pavilion but we could see very little of the stage. All viewing from the grass is done on the video screen not the stage.
This crowd was different from most. Every time we stood up to sing and dance to a favorite song, we were screamed at to “sit down”. There was NO standing or dancing until the very end when we decided to stand up anyway. We were rewarded with beer being thrown on us and our chairs filled with ice and drink. Come on Sun Valley…you can do better than this.
This is a beautiful venue. Buy the inside seating not the lawn seating if you want to enjoy the concert.
20. Sun Valley Museum of Art
Address: 191 5th St E, Ketchum, ID 83340 , Ketchum , Idaho , United States
Visited yesterday on a weekend trip to Sun Valley and really enjoyed both the high level of art and wonderful history of Sun Valley’s art scene.
Revolutionary
