Everything is over priced! We went here hoping to get some help and all we were told was that we should go online and find a different instrument. The person they have on charge was rude and looked down on us, very poor manners, never going here again and definitely not recommending my other friends to come here!
Horrible hours
I walked in and whoever was in charge was being really impatient with a mom and her kids. He looked past the mom and flatly asked me if he could help me, I said, “Oh I don’t mind if you finish helping her.” The poor mom. I started looking at music books and when he was done with the mom, he just started restocking and ignored me. So, I went up to him and said, “Hi! Can I ask you a few questions?” He wouldn’t look at me and replied, “What KIND of questions?”. I said, “oh..I…maybe I should just wait for the owner if my questions need to be qualified before I ask them? :/” He said, “yah. you should”! He was so unkind.I wasn’t upset or anything-I’m a really a friendly person-I was just so confused at the treatment. There was no one else in the store at 3:30 on a weekday-no teachers or students at all. All the class rooms were empty and no one was teaching. If the owner reads this, I had money to spend, but walked out :/

Mona is incredible, she pays so much attention to detail and is so careful, taking the time to make sure that you understand everything. I have noticed she adjusts to the pace of the student which is great because we all want our kids to perform the best to their abilities. He has an eye for the guitars and is simply a great go to for anything related to this genre. I highly recommend Django Guitar store!
Tommy also fitted my axe out with a custom bridge that not only enhanced the sound and feel of my guitar, but also gave it a nice vintage look.
The Black Orchid Band is a breath of fresh air! Not your typical local band. Not only are they all phenomenal musicians, but their original pieces are outstanding. I can’t wait to see them again!!

Tim Hall, the trumpet instructor, has been teaching my 13 year old son for nearly 2 years now. The result is that my son is one of the best trumpeteers in his grade level at school and he is now enjoying playing. Tim is not only a skilled teacher and musician, but he’s a nice guy who makes lessons fun for my son. I highly recommend trying him out if you are searching for a trumpet instructor that will bring the best musician out of your child.

3 of the 4 members of my family have taken lessons at Kenny’s – 2 kids and me. Kenny is a great guy and has a good teaching style that works for everyone. He has a ton of experience teaching and knows how to explain musical concepts so that even a hack like me can understand! Kimberly who runs the shop is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Kenny and Kimberly are truly part of the community here at Dana Point and we’re lucky to have them.
One of the few and best record stores in Socal. The people working there know their stuff about music very well and are pretty cool guys
Cool little record shop. A little bit of everything. I wondered in and found a record I needed for my collection at a fair price. I priced some of the other ones there and they were also a good deal. Staff was very friendly and I will definitely be back next time we are at Laguna.

I’ll be able to leave a better detailed review after i visit again- for a longer duration of time. I must say though that I cannot wait to go back! They have TONS of records to check out, organized by genre. I saw many other cool items available for purchase from such as tapestries, posters, band & other shirts, cassettes, art, pins, stickers, etc.
Even though I was only at the store for a few minutes- I highly recommend you checking it out for yourself! I doubt you will regret it.

Good selection, but expect to over pay. When I went, they had doubles of vinyl below, so I looked there first expecting lower prices. But and album I expected to be around $5 or less came out to be $14, the same as one in mint condition. And this was worth around $3. Cover ripped, scratches on record. Kind of killed the fun of finding a record you really like. And not to mention this was on record store day, no deals… This place sucks

My daughter and I love Ms. Sophi Albert. She is an amazing piano teacher. She is kind, patient and encouraging.
Ms Sophi was recommended to us by a friend. We have been taking pinao lessons for 3 years now and I have seen a lot of progress made. She focuses on music theory, technique, simple melody to various complete pieces. I recommend this teacher as she is very patient, has good knowledge of music composition, and also teaches voice. My child really enjoys playing the piano.
My son has been taking lessons with Ms. Sophi for more than three years and we absolutely love her. She is very patient and knowledgeable. My son can be a little fussy sometimes, as with any little boys but Ms. Sophi knows how to be firm with him without being too strict. I highly recommend Ms. Sophi if you are looking for a piano teacher for your child.

We went in for a viola mute, and although they didn’t have one, the woman called 4 other music stores trying to find one for us! We were blown away by that and have committed that whenever we need something we’ll be going to Danman’s Music.
We also have several family friends that send their kids to Danman’s and have nothing but great things to say about their teaches – in vocal, guitar and piano.
So far so good!! My daughter really likes Gigi!
Best service. None of the big chain stores come close.

Went into this store for the first time just two weeks ago; Dave was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful with our Adult son who was interested in guitar lessons as well as re-stringing his guitar. We were given a tour of the store which is fully equipped with studios for voice, guitar/strings, drums, and keys. The store is well stocked and beyond reasonable with their price points. We walked out that first time with only a set of guitar pics. Went one week later with our guitar for re-stringing anda strap. Casey was wonderful, and walked through the process slowly for my son to watch and learn. We got more information on upcoming classes and lessons. There is a small, nice place to sit and watch lessons via closed circuit screens for people with children in lessons. This is such a great place for any beginner or seasoned musician needing equipment. Love the location and the staff, this is our new music home!
When we got there for the free lesson it was great I learned how to play. When we wanted to sign up for season they had a offer for a electric guitar. But when the worker went to get it they had no more and we did not sign up for season. The worker ways super sad that I was bummed out so she made some calls and they shipped a gutter just for me and I super happy.

The good reviews here do not fall in line with my experience at all. And they sell instruments yet have no basic knowledge about them at all. Completely unhelpful
Do not rent your music instrument here, it’s a nightmare.
I really want to give y’all a good rating, but I don’t understand how I can provide formal approval for my flute’s repairs, and then proceed to have to approve two more times over two more months because someone, somewhere keeps not actually putting the paperwork through? I expected a timesink since repairs take a while, but to have had my flute sitting WAITING for said lengthy repairs for more than two (three by now?) months despite me approving it three! separate! times! because someone just didn’t click a button is extremely disappointing!!!!
Cassie provided lessons to my son for over 2 years. He not only enjoyed time with Cassie but we also saw tremendous growth in him. She would put together local recitals for her students which was both fun and motivating for my son.
If it wasn’t for our move, we would have continued to use Cassie as our piano teacher and highly recommend her for you or your kids.
Miss Cassie is a fantastic teacher who has instructed all four of our daughters. She is an excellent pianist and is able to teach students of all levels with patience and enthusiasm. Our family loves Miss Cassie!
