Josh and Daimien are as friendly and down to earth. Treated this hobby player with the same consideration as a gigging musician. Rewired my guitar and dropped a push/pull pot in and didn’t charge an arm and a leg. Will patronize again.
Went there to get my guitar because I got no updates on the guitar and they took the pickgaurd off of my vintage 1953 SJ200 Gibson acoustic without me knowing and broke off a piece of binding around the sound hole. Then when I was gonna restring the instrument they couldn’t find my bridge pins which are original to the guitar. Ill give them this they got rid of the main rattle of the guitar but I was expecting some extra caution and care for taking in such an instrument.
Overall: Very Disorganized, Unprofessional service…

Very clean store and the employee was very helpful
Great Place for all your musical needs!
Extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Need a small part and was given to me NO charge!
Good pricing and knowledge workers
Big selection of guitars, amps, pa and drums.
Great selection cool people very knowledgeable!
I needed a set of strings last minute and stopped in to the closest place and they tried to charge me 21$!!!! I get these same strings for 6$ everywhere else. I told him no way and he knocked it down immediately to 16?? He said they were on sale… Which he failed to mention when he told me the price initially. Total rip off. Always rude and I hate having to go there.
I went in looking for some specifics, I had my own guitar with me, THAT I BOUGHT FROM THEIR PEORIA STORE, possibly to upgrade. Played a few guitars (with no amp, because who needs an amp when shopping guitars) to give them sometime to at least acknowledge my presence… no luck, so I stood at the counter where I could see the manager sitting and talking with sime dude about nothing… for about 5 minutes before I said screw it… never coming back to this location ever…. I’ve bought a total of 3 guitars and my father bought 4 and with guitar-mart on their assess, I’d think they’d try harder
We bought a new trumpet and paid over $900.00 a few months ago. When my daughters band director seen it, he said that is was not new and we had actually bought a used trumpet. I called them the next day and all they would do is an exchange. I have also heard of other people thinking that they were buying a new instrument, when in fact, it was used. We even found a tag in her “new” trumpet case that had another band student’s name and address.

My son is getting guitar lessons from Danny. Danny is great. He’s kind, patient, and encouraging. He’s everything you’d want from a guitar teacher. Looks like Petty plays like Slash.
These guys are helpful and friendly everytime I go in. They also stand by what they sell and the customer service is impeccable. From setups to guitars/basses and pedals they do it all.
Thanks for your help today, after some good sandpaper and some elbow grease this new ebony nut you guys had in stock sounds awesome feels awesome!
Pros: I just moved here and was told by a guitar center employee that Flores music down the road has the best guy around to diagnose a problem I have with my very expensive guitar. Three shops had tried and failed at this point. I wish I could remember the technicians name; it started with a “j” I know, he takes one look at the guitar and checks a couple things. He then tells me that the problem is easily fixed. I tell him I’ve heard that before. But while I waited he fixed the buzzing problem and even corrected a couple other things that were bad. I’ve never had a guitar play this well ever! The con is when I was done thanking the savior of my taylor guitar a man from the store got mad at me for peeking my head in the shop to talk to the technician who I am trusting with my guitar. Sorry Flores music for bothering you with my business. Great repairs and lousy customer relations.
Nice music store.
It was awesome na Kevin Gray Is such a good drum teacher
I have bought $1,000’s worth of stuff from this place. I always have felt like I had been treated fairly and given a good deal. I have even taken some of my stuff in to have it repaired and cleaned. I bought a fantastic pair of speakers no one has heard of and that have a goofy connection on the back. I went in and spoke with them about it and decided to try banana plugs. I was under the impression that if it didn’t work I could bring it back in and return it. So my wife stops in with the original receipt and in the original packaging (unopened) and they refuse to give our money back. In store credit is all I can get. It’s terrible business practice and I should have been told up front that they would not except the return, especially since I had been talking to them about what I was doing. I will from now on do my business elsewhere.
Last year my son was supposed to be getting a pretty nice Fender Telecaster, which they said would be held on to for us until we saved up enough money for it. However, they ended up selling it to someone else. I will never step foot in this store again.
When I was unhappy with the 5th string banjo capo they sold me, they didn’t offer any kind of refund or even a discount on a new installation. Instead, they reacted in what I thought was a rude and unhelpful manner. Come on people… this is customer service 101!
Shop well laid out, lots pf choices in instruments. Sales staff very pleasant and helpful. Found what we needed, doubled checked to make sure it fit the grandson’s requirements, then paid and done. Good experience.
Friendly and helpful.
My son was having trouble getting sound out of his clarinet at school so I brought it in to Kidder who took it in the back room while I waited, fixed it up for me, and played it right there. Took 10 minutes tops. AWESOME! I walked out without owing anything because this service is included in their rent to own program. And my son didn’t have to go to band that day without his instrument like I thought he might have to due to waiting for repairs. That is what I call amazing customer service! I appreciate them so much!! Friendly, knowlegeable, efficient!!
The store is pretty good. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to help you find what you are looking for, whether it’s sheet music, instruments, or accessories. They also offer lessons with some great teachers.
Great lessons. Decent store for beginners.
Friendly and knowledgeable
Have issues taking money off cards don’t say why just say sorry we can’t help

It was nice, first time I had ever been there and laughingly my dad got him and his best friend a nice Marley pipe! It was funny watching my father purchase that!
Great little store, sells all kinds. Of fun knickknacks as well as CDs and records
Full of vintage “finds.”
Cool store. Laid back. Alot of great eye candy and stories. Picked up Pantera vulgar display of power still sealed 14$! Bang your head!

9. Don’s Music Land
Address: 7717 N University St STE A, Peoria, IL 61614 , Lake Camelot , Illinois , United States
Stopped by the new place (at least to me) while we were back in town. Wish we could have a guitar store like this where I live. I kept finding interesting stuff to check out.
My son took guitar lessons with Mario for several years. We moved out of the area but we have yet to find anyone as good as Mario Ramirez. He’s amazing and Dons has actual studios for a great learning environment. We even found his favorite guitar there. Highly recommend.
I spent more than I expected (my choice) but Don made so many points in customer service I felt more than compensated. Bought a Roland keyboard Bluetooth connectivity ☺️
Gd selection

A wonderful Sunday afternoon with 3 talented musicians, playing the songs I grew to love growing up. Great variety, excellent harmonies, gifted players. Waited too long to see them. I’ll definitely keep track of when they are performing next. Thanks, guys.
A delightful trio playing and singing songs which are familiar to those of us with at least a touch of gray hair.
13. Co-Op Records of Pekin, Illinois
Address: 3253 Court St, Pekin, IL 61554 , Lake Camelot , Illinois , United States
This is one of the last Co-op records as they used to be. Of course they carry the typical pipes, grateful dead ephemera and bead curtains, as well as a decent array of vintage vinyl and thoroughly combed over cds.
Great selection . Found what I was looking for . Brandon Rocks .
Not sure how this place is still in business.
boaring
14. Church Pipe Organ Services
Address: 425 W Armstrong Ave, Peoria, IL 61604 , Lake Camelot , Illinois , United States
Mirror Image has been a part of my life for 30 years. The owner Gary Manuel is a wonderful man. As kids growing up he would give us odd jobs over the summer just to be nice. We (my brothers and I) would put Cd cases together or cassette cases and just have fun over at the studio. Professionally, you couldn’t ask for a better business man. He is very fair and does a great job at what he does. The quality of his work and his product is one of the best around. I have not one single thing to say that would be negative. I would recommend this studio and his work to any single person that needed these kinds of services. Absolutely one of the best in this area without a doubt!!
They make ausom shakes
Food was cold and we asked the girl at drive threw if there was sweet and sour sauce in bag she said yes. No sweet and sour sauce.
Seen the outside parking lot to park my car more.
18. The Piano Network of Peoria
Address: 2524 W Farrelly Ave Suite B, Peoria, IL 61614 , Lake Camelot , Illinois , United States
I bought an Artist Yamaha C6 Concert Grand from currrent Piano Network owners Matt & Larry Waldhoff, which I love and still play every weekend at the Possum Trot Supper Club Danville, Il. I purchased it about 20 years ago when they were with Samuels. Fortunately they asked me over 2 years ago to help represent Piano Network a great new store in Champaign. I am proud to work for them,Yamaha, Allen Organs, and represent and offer these World Class instruments.
I popped in for a quick stop, just wanted to try out a particular model I had been researching online. Left my friend in the car with the engine running. Tom was very helpful and showed me exactly what I was looking for, he was very knowledgeable and explained several different options. Before I knew it an hour had passed, my friend was not happy.
A great selection of pianos and the salesperson was very knowledgeable about all of the pianos. We did find a piano and purchased it that day.
