Very nice place and the staff are very friendly and helpful
I rented an instrument from Music & Arts which was a pain to return and the end of the rental period. But the gentleman at the counter was able to help me figure it out. He was incredibly helpful and kind, and I really appreciate their assistance. I strongly recommend stopping by here for any music needs for the type of friendly, caring, small-town service you’d hope to find in Templeton.
Amazing service, employees provide great help for any musical reason. Great selection of musical instruments and the sort!
Nice little place. Have gone in a few times for reeds and picks. Staff is really nice and helpful.
I will say that they advertise that they have music teachers who offer lessons there. And say to call for availability… don’t waste your time. I called six times (in a month) to inquire about violin lessons and left messages each time, never heard back. Finally go in, and they say they don’t offer lessons for her age, not a big deal, it just was an irritant to not have messages returned.

Wonderful when there is water????..
Love this lake beautiful and deep! Great for boats and rving
wow the best place in california
Even with Covid restrictions, dragon lake is still my favorite place to camp with boating! They have lots of campsites with and without hookups, lots of tent camping sites, resort cabins to rent, restaurant (closed currently), boating, day use areas, small pool (closed currently), basketball area (missing the rim right now), boat and RV storage, RV dump station, marina, little sundries store at the marina and bigger one on shore, 5K hike, fire rings. The water is low so the boat launch is a challenge for RV launching a boat but otherwise easy for trucks.
Cons: Can get crowded on the lake and in the campsites on weekends, some people in the non hookup sites run their generators all day even before the 7am and after the 10pm quiet hours which kills the “nature” vibe, sometimes (just with other camping), you’ll encounter those inconsiderate people who think the whole world should hear their music too and the sound carries!, not everything is open/useable due to covid restrictions
Un excelente lugar para campar
Rent a pontoon boat! Very fun day! Water is pretty low so getting in and out of the boat was difficult, but that’s nature. 🙂
The worst experience ever! First time there. We came in to stay for one night (had to pay for two since it was a holiday weekend, okay fine it is a policy) They told us we could go and take any spot that was not reserved since it was a first come first serve. We took space 347 in Quail Roost and set up out tent and left personal belongings inside. There was a tent already set up in space 348 but nothing on the one we took (including no reserved sign). We went to spend the whole day at the lake thinking we are all good with our tent. When we came back, it comes to be that the operations supervisor decided to take our tent and personal belongings away because someone had already set up their tent before us. Per operations supervisor, they just wanted to take advantage of the shade on spot 348 but they meant to take 347. Since we do not read minds, we took the not occupied spot. Since the supervisor saw the other people setting up their tent, and he did not see us, guess who’s problem it was? And on top of it, the supervisor comes to tell me that we were that screwed because we did not read the signs when we entered! Really? With such long line of cars waiting to pay, are we supposed to read all of the policy signs? Definitely this place needs lots of organization with their system. I believe they are a private entity. The operations supervisor had the worst attitude towards us, not sympathetic of the situation at all. 30 minutes later we got all of our stuff back stuffed in a trash bag with some of our belongings missing. Three heavy duty screwdrivers were “forgotten” in his car. That was my first and last time there.
Water level is at 18% devastating,,, went from 35feet to 2 feet in the middle of the lake. Don’t think this lake will survive,,,
This was the worst camping experience ever. Our reservation was not what we paid for, the music from 4 camp sites blasting all at the same time until 11:00 pm was ridiculous we couldn’t even sit outside and enjoy our time there. Never going back and will not recommend.

Awesome mom and pop music store. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Rude person at counter. Would offer a zero if available.
Great if you’re looking for First Act gear.
Called to inquire about an inventory of instruments. Guy on the other line who answered was rude. Not friendly, seemed like it was a hassle for him to answer my questions. I thought, we’ll, not everyone is a phone person so I decided to go in and look for myself. Walked into small store, no one else was inside but the guy. I wasn’t greeted and the whole time the guy was at the computer smacking his lips eating something. Since it was empty – it’s all you could hear. I was a serious buyer and was turned off by the guy and the stores lack of professionalism.
