Amazing service and very professional work! Plus its local to North Little Rock so it’s literally right around the corner from where i live.
Great people who will happily take care of you and your music needs! I highly recommend coming to this music store to get some great service!
I drove 2 hours to have my bass guitar setup by Brandon he went out of his way to help me and took time to explain everything to me he did an amazing job on my new Bass it plays just how I want it to. I highly recommend Renown

Nice little music store. Wish they carried more drum stuff, but had a good selection of guitar equipment and supplies.
My “go to” place for any band gear, lights and sound. Paul knows his stuff and is always ready to help. I love dealing with an Owner Operated family business.
I’ve been regularly visiting Paul and his shop for the past couple of years. The guys are always super nice and they’ve got an awesome selection of great instruments. They carry essentials like strat-like guitars and acoustics but they always have some really unique stuff on the wall as well.
Great local music store. We have shopped here for years.
Not to bad
Rude
Good place to buy guitars, don’t ask them to fix anything you own uness you want it damaged.
8. Tobacco SuperStore #73
Address: 209 S Lincoln Ave, Star City, AR 71667 , Lincoln County , Arkansas , United States
I’ve been rolling my own cigs for a few months now and buying most of my tobacco online. But now that I’ve found this place, I’ll get all my tobacco and tubes here.
Friendly staff.
Friendly people and low prices.
Great place for all your Tobacco and Ouachita Farms CBD products
Fast and easy
Their service is good and then drive through is wonderful but normally they’re more expensive than a gas station.
Clean and friendly
Employee strung out on drugs and talks about everybody when they leave the store… cmm. Is the clerk doing it to customers.
9. Palmer Music Company
Address: 1131 Front St, Conway, AR 72032 , Lincoln County , Arkansas , United States
Preston has gathered an amazing team of instructors that love music and creating the next generation of musicians. Any instrument you wish to learn they can teach it and Tyler keeps it all running smoothly.
Awesome service very knowledgeable my one stop music shopping for everything I need!!
Everyone here is super knowledgeable and have been able to help me build my home studio. Everything that I have bought here has been top notch and worked perfectly. So glad I have such a great music store in Conway!
Talked to Joey in the store today. He took some time to help me plan for an upcoming purchase for our church. They have a large selection of all kinds of musical instruments and they do lessons, as well. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Thanks, Joey!
Usually busy because they’re good at what they do!
I was looking at electric guitars and they didn’t offer to let me plug any of them in. How are you truly going to know if you like one or not if you can’t hear the sound.
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).

Great staff, and great work on my horn. As always, consistent and quality work.
Great place for instrument repair. Both my husband and I have taken our trumpet, his, and flute, mine, for repair or adjusting.
Robert has worked on my tubas for years and I’m always happy with the results. Their entire crew knows what they’re doing.
Very helpful and informative
Did excellent work on my old trombone, very nice people!
I came in with a horn to have repairs done to it. I needed to have my saxophone’s neck recorked. I needed additional repairs, but above all needed the recorking. The repairman came up, looked at the instrument brand and said he could do nothing for me because if he broke something, he would have to make a part. I thanked him and walked out. I thought by the ratings that this would be a location with skilled craftsmen, but instead feel like it’s people prone to mistakes so they can only work on standard brands and not all instruments. I’d consider calling before coming. They are the only place around for quite a distance and driving over 60 miles to be treated like this felt very awful!
11. Guitar Center
Address: 12315 Chenal Pkwy A, Little Rock, AR 72211 , Lincoln County , Arkansas , United States
I know it’s “Guitar Center” and not “Bass Center,” but I was a little disappointed in the selections of basses and strings. People were friendly and helpful. Just didn’t have what I needed.
Good place to buy music things
The Wal-Mart of music stores. Too big.
Horrible experience. Horrible management. Refuses to do the right thing with its customers.
The new staff is very unprofessional.
Boring and overpriced this company is going to lose all that money online sales and the equipment is never connecting up correctly
12. Renown Music
Address: 104 W F Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72116 , Lincoln County , Arkansas , United States
I’ve worked with Goose on a few films. The man knows what he is doing when it comes to music and he’s willing to work with you in terms of cost and the music pieces themselves. He’s very professional which is about what you expect from an honest business man.
14. Redbox
Address: 100 N Lincoln Ave, Star City, AR 71667 , Lincoln County , Arkansas , United States
I absolutely love this store!! After having an awful experience at Olsen’s this is the only store I go to when I need something for my guitar. Unlike Olsen’s, the staff is so friendly and willing to help you with anything you need. After coming here I will not give my money to Olsen’s unless completely necessary. I love this great store!!
Great place
great
Great people, a very old store
I went into to buy a guitar. Very small selection
Lots of sheet music and DVDs but it is all on the computer today. Wonderful people. I wish them well!
My visit was to test the integrity of an electric guitar I had. Spoke to the guy behind the counter. (The one with the gray streaked goatee). Told him I was preparing to sell it via Facebook, and all I want to do is see if it sounds as it should. He said it was ok I was like great thanks. The buyer was from outta town and was shopping for guitar supplies. She had just bought amp still needed a cord possibly more. Asked her to meet up there since she was just down the road. She wanted to go in do to the rain. Instantly he started ranting that he’s a business man a professional and I was shady for what I had done. I was very polite. My reply ( I’m sorry I brought you a customer sure she meet up with me to buy a guitar for cheap but she still may need something) she was there for his childish act. ( she replied I do need a cord) He didn’t even bother to respond to her. He looks at me says someone smells bad like cigarettes… Wow 0 stars for your sir. Where’s your public relations at. Your welcome for that sell.
18. The Musician’s Exchange
Address: 2221 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956 , Lincoln County , Arkansas , United States
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They made renting my daughter’s clarinet for school a breeze and fulfilled my order within 24 hours. Upon picking it up, they were very accommodating and also briefed me on a few key things I would have not otherwise known about. Pro Tip: make sure your child does NOT peel the label sticker off, as you will be out 3-4 weeks to order a new one in the event you need to send it in for repair. Musicians Exchange makes renting affordable. Highly reccomend. This is also Northridge Middle School’s music shop of choice!
Bill and his crew have taken care of me and my family and my friends for YEARS. Prices are well within reach, whether your are looking for new, or gently used. I’ve taken banjos for repair, as well as amplifiers– again, repairs done in a timely manner and the price was extremely fair. Although I am nothing more than a customer, both Bill and Bob as well as Rachael and the others have always treated me like a king. I highly recommend this business. I can’t say enough good things about them!!
This place has a little bit of everything for music people.
Interesting selection of mostly used gear. Friendly folks!
Had a hard time trying any of the basses or bass amps….nothing was even plugged in…..had to run extension cords all over the place . Then the basses and amps were so crowded could not move to even try the gear out. Didn’t feel like rerunning power to the whole department to try any other amps out. Shame would have tried more gear out….but just wasn’t expecting to hook it all up myself. Sorry guys you lost a sale….take ten minutes plug In couple bass amps everyday instead of sitting out smoking…..dude you know who you are….you shut the door on my wife as you went back in after your cig break….seriously….Shame store has potential
This place is very small and crowded with goods. Most of the things are for those who really want to rock out. Lots of amps and electronic equipment and electrified instruments. Very little acoustic. The photos you see on Google maps don’t quite represent as much what you see in the store because it looks from the pictures like there’s more acoustic than they’re actually is. But the staff seem to be very good at helping customers make decisions.
#accessibility accessibility is poor. There is a super steep ramp step to get into the store and then it’s crowded inside. My friend on crutches with a large service dog had a difficult time getting around inside. I had a small guide dog and found the quarters very cramped. I’m just mentioning this so that people will be aware. Next time I go in, I will leave my guide dog at home and use a white cane to navigate.
The vast majority of the store has everything for electric instruments. There’s a little teeny acoustic room in the back which is so small that you barely have enough room to turn around and certainly not enough room to change your mind. Again mentioning so the people know what to expect.
Bought a brand new acoustic guitar here after years of using this store for my musical needs. The guitar wasnt staying in tune and i noticed the intonation was a little off as well. I took it back 4 days later and they offered me 100 bucks for it. It was brand new and i spend 400 on it and bought a 150 dollar case as well. Thats not the way you treat repeat customers. I will never be returning to this store again.
Les has one of the best music stores around. It’s full of great vintage and new gear at reasonable prices. I’ve purchased several items from Blue Moon Music and will continue to do business with Les. He knows his gear and is a fine musician as well. Go check him out in person. I do wish they had a good website that displayed all his current gear.
Les is the ONLY person I trust with my guitars. After restoring a childhood keepsake guitar 15 years ago, I have never looked elsewhere for service and advice!
In addition, you can find guitars and amps here that you will not find anywhere else. There is more knowledge here than you will find in 50 chain store employees combined!
I got a Fender blues Jr. amp fixed here last year and payed $60 for the work. A few weeks later the amp stopped working so I called the shop and the owner told me that they don’t guarantee their work. I took the amp to another store and spent another $60 to have it worked on again. Take care of your customers and they will come back.
It cool
