Great folks great service very quick quality merchandise at a good price even compared to the big chain stores have done business with them and will continue
Pleasure to do buisness with, well organized and timely
Ricky Dink business. Pain to deal with. Just go elsewhere.
There was no customer service. My husband was interested in a gun. The price was never given and they never offered to let him take a look at it. They better get their A game on. We are going to give them a run for their money in the gun and hunting industry. They are way over priced. What they had no idea of is he is an ffl dealer and would have most likely bought all their good used inventory.
2. Redbox
Address: 675 Elm St, Lincolnton, GA 30817 , Lincolnton , Georgia , United States
Great food great staff and your treated like your business is appreciated. A must if you like the lake and camping.New owners are really making this place an out of this world experience like I remember from the late eighties a lot of boat rides from McDuffie county to eat at soap creek. Now my kids and grandkids can enjoy the same lake memories.
Great service/ staff. Rented a pontoon boat. Enjoyed the lake.
The place itself is very nice we stayed in one of the cabins and that was nice. Now the restaurant at the marina just by the service I got from the bartender and then being told they don’t take to go orders after 5 when I called before to inquire and was never told this I will not go back there. Secondly although the beach was nice what ruined it for us was the rude group that decided it was going to take over the whole beach making it so uncomfortable for my family to even enjoy ourselves. Even to the point we couldn’t even swim as there boats were every where beached.
I drive 3 hours for that trip and I think I’ll just stay up at our lakes where the people are amazing and our busy marina restaurant doesn’t turn away to go orders.
Love all the upgrades. Folks are nice. Can’t complain.
Penelope is the best bartender they have at Willie Mac’s.
awful and this was just from a drive through. Smell of decomp and busted water pipes, ripped out electrical stuffs, torn down building and abandoned vehicles.
It was my first time there will never go back service was to slow waited on my food for 1 hour and 10 minutes and waitress was only seen twice and the food is not worth the money
Be very careful when making reservations with getting them to confirm and reconfirm your camping specifications. Booked a site telling them that we had a 5th Wheel needing 50 amp, get a call 3 days before check in date (Memorial weekend) telling us they only had 30 amp sites! Our reservations was on their books for almost 2 months. So leave us stranded with all other camping places booked. Be Careful!
5. Cullars Inn
Address: 140 Elm St, Lincolnton, GA 30817 , Lincolnton , Georgia , United States
Great ownership!! Went in told him my problem and had it fixed on the spot! Would definitely recommend
I love this store. Wonderful people who are always helpful. They have a great variety of products to offer as well. I purchased my piano from them.
The girl that helped me was so nice and helpful.
I’ll swing in here every now and again just to have a peak. Maybe pick up some picks, a strap, etc. The staff are always real friendly, I’ve got no complaints there. The place is nice and clean and always well stocked. I know their bread and butter are off of pianos and such, but I’d love to see a bigger selection of guitars and basses in here. Would bring in some business, I’m sure. Especially considering there is only one other music store in town that survived the recession. As for now, that other music store and Guitar Center are my first two stops before this one. And that’s nothing against this place at all. If you’re looking for the likes of a piano, woodwind, brass, etc – make a trip to see these guys.
Great place there just deep in the pokets
Pianos, guitars, study books, score books, accessories. Friendly staff.
Nice store but they DON’T take American Express
Extremely narrow minded selection of instruments. If you play anything besides piano or high school band instruments you will be looked at with disdain. If you do play those instruments, I hope you like Yamaha because that’s your only choice.
I felt a racial divide. I was cordial and respectful when I entered the place. I played for them, the piano and sang to them and even bought something from them. They called the police on me and I was not arrested. I did not disrespect anyone nor did I hard an instrument. I sat in the police car in cuffs and then was released without a problem. I plan to take them to court.
8. Musician’s Warehouse
Address: 245 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601 , Lincolnton , Georgia , United States
Fantastic selection, great prices, and stellar people. Everyone was incredibly knowledgable and super helpful. Definitely my go-to music store in Athens.
These guys are great! I bought a set of strings here that didn’t suit me well and they got me a sweet deal on a replacement set. Also, they gave a great selection of fenders and Reverends (gotta take a Reverend for a spin if you haven’t before!).
Great local shop.
Ed and his colleague were so helpful in helping us fix our sound system for our record player today. I wasn’t sure what I needed, but they went above and beyond to make it happen. Thanks dudes
Professional assistance provided.
Nice selection of stringed and percussion instruments. Pretty decent prices, too.
Could be a little more organized. Drum area needs more open space. And more displayed of items. Seems pretty congested.
Dude I’m not sure what happened. The first floor is desolate (empty for everybody that’s currently reading this while dunk). I understand social distancing, but I’m I am attending Warehouse, I do not care about the current situation, I’m here to rave. Open the first floor for a mosh pit.
Really wanted to like this company. I was cheated and conned, and after a week with zero communication I contacted them. They fumbled around for another day or two then stated they couldn’t find the item. I was left empty handed and confused. No attempt at finding the item or ordering another. Nothing. Zip. C’mon guys!
Poor selection. If you like grandpa guitars this is the place. Wouldnt recomend to any modern guitar players.
9. Papa’s Pizza To Go
Address: 135 N Peachtree St, Lincolnton, GA 30817 , Lincolnton , Georgia , United States
The piggies sticks are a must try…..have never had a breadstick so yummy! The garlic butter dip is divine. We had a deluze pizza and they definitely do not skimp on the toppings like some pizza places. The dough was soft and the sauce delicious. Great pizza at a great price. The only complaint would be the lack of prices on the menus and menu board. We had to ask prices for each thing we were interested in. We were told the prices change a lot, which seems weird. Havi g prices posted should be mandatory for consumer protection. Otherwise the place was clean and it and service was great!
Excellent. Loved it.
Good food. Nice scenery.
Best pizza place in Lincolnton! The buffet is kept stocked and they will add a special pizza for you if you ask them nicely! The only thing that would make it better would be delivery but in a rural area like this it’s a dicey proposition at best!
Good
Not good I paid to much for 2 tea.spoon of tuna at papas over a BIG bed of lettuce just lettings you know customer service at papa’s Pizza to go don’t care
They are horrible. They don’t like to bring pizza out to the buffet. How do you have a pizza restaurant and don’t like to bring pizza out? The pizza was dry. Me and my sister ask them could they bring out another pizza and they act like they didn’t wanna do it. There buffet is a waste of your time and money.
OVERLY PRICED! Food is decent most of the time but I have gotten food poisoning quite a few times from this location including a group of us recently. Most of the staff is very friendly however which is great!
10. Lincolnton
Address: Georgia 30817 , Lincolnton , Georgia , United States
Nathan is reliable, always prompt, communicative and insightful. He has tuned my pianos for years, and I have recommended his services many, many times. I highly recommend him!
Awesome service, piano sounds fantastic. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!
Nathan has tuned both my personal studio grand Yamaha and my church’s Kawai baby grand. His did a superb job and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
12. Back Paddle Brewing
Address: 3472 Bethany Church Rd, Lincolnton, GA 30817 , Lincolnton , Georgia , United States
The food was good as always….the back 9 burger is my favorite. People are always friendly and fun (both staff & patrons!)
They are a family-friendly restaurant. The kids (and kids @ heart) can draw a masterpiece on the gigantic blackboard or play oversized jenga type game.
I’m not a beer drinker, but I’m told their small batch brews are very good. Casual dining @ its best.
Great food and great beer!
Really enjoyed our visit there. The people were very nice and friendly. We had the pickles app and strangely the pickle orange was delicious. We just had hamburgers. The meat was very tasty. Was told it was locally sourced. The burgers were very good. I will definitely be back, and maybe I won’t be driving and can try the beer. This place is right down the road from Lincolnton marine and Elijah Clark. Also discounts for Veterans and first responders. As a retired Soldier this is great. I will definitely come back.
Nice surprise in Lincolnton near the campgrounds! We’ve been about 4 times and the food is very consistent. Burgers are outstanding. The Fish Sandwich needs to be added to the menu permanently as its great too. Husband loves the beers and I’m glad you are getting seltzers on the menu.
2 small suggestions that I’ve noticed every time and mentioned numerous times. We along with our friends who go out a lot would come more often if you sold iced drinks including tea. Half of the adults in our party don’t drink alcohol. The other thing is you need outside seating. People will stay and keep drinking if you have outside seating available. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy just tables and chairs outside.
Very clean, very friendly, really quick on service. Price was a little high but with everything considered it was well worth it. Beer tasted amazing, Burger looked and tasted like it was made from home. Very nice restaurant
Food was good Bear needs a little work.
I’m not sure what I was expecting. But this failed to meet those expectations. All I could think of while sweltering in the heat of the garage bay dining area, on a less than decent picnic table with peeling paint, drinking my bottled water, looking at a roll of paper towels and a red Solo cup full of condiments, was where the hell is Robert Irvine.
And clearly the respondent didn’t read my entire post. So now the game is on. By the way, it’s 72 degrees in my camper at Wildwood in Georgia.
So when we arrived we were told there was a 20 minute wait, cool. We went to the bar ordered drinks while we waited only for once a table cleared for a man who just walked in to be sat at it before us, the lack of communication between the staff about who is waiting in what order. We were expected to wait until the next available table, we declined and decided to go elsewhere. We drove from Augusta to eat here and to do trivia night only to end up going to Willie mac’s where the service was so much better. Please work on a system to better accommodate the patrons.
Great food and friendly service!
13. Bigham Discount Music
Address: 409 N Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721 , Lincolnton , Georgia , United States
Excellent little shop lots of great inventory. The owners really great guy his name is Butch.
Bighams is my music store of choice, I bought my first guitar here in 1990. The prices are always more than fair. I have bought a sunn amp, Electra guitar, ibanez roadstar ii, and numerous accessories. You want find a better price on gig bags or guitar straps. Butch can set up your guitar and it will be perfect ever time.
Great guys, they know their stuff! Very helpful with my grandsons needs!!!
The proprietor is a friendly and nice enough guy, has a pretty good selection of guitars and amplifiers, however he can’t compete with big box stores (which I understand) but that seems to make his prices unreasonably High.
Nice in person. But didn’t find what I was looking for. If your on the market for a key board, this is not the place to come. They don’t have them. But the do have a nice election of guitars and bass guitars and drums.
Friendly place to buy musical equipment Butch the manager is a great guy and you will usually hear some great music as people come in and sit and play for a while.
I have been to this place a few times, and this guy always has an attitude with me. Usually I’m able to let it go, but today I had it. I went looking for a bass guitar part, a pick-up blend potentiometer to be exact. The first time he was insisting that I had to bring I my bass in in order to see it. Finally, after a Looong explanation that I work on guitars, I was able to make him just sell me the part, to which he remarked “these are non returnable, you know,” yes, yes I know. He gave me a tone pot. I explained, again that I needed a BLEND POT, to which he responded, “well you didn’t say that!” I did, twice. Then he gave me another volume/tone pot, and kept calling it a blend pot… then I went as far as to explain that a blend pot is one that has SIX LUGS WHERE BOTH PICKUPS GO IN TO GIVE A SINGLE OUTPUT. He said “well, you didn’t explain!” gave me a push/pull volume/tone pot… once again I told him this was not it. He got an even worse attitude than at the begging and said “yes it is! I build guitars for a living! I know what I’m talking about! If you had brought in the guitar I’d be able to see the pot!” (Sigh!). I turned around and left. He did t even say have a good day or anything of the sort. I’d 4ather travel the 40 minutes to the GC than to go back there. There, I said it. Hope it’s helpful.
This is the most untrustworthy single business I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. It took two months to do a simple pick up swap. Compounded by my being mislead that the neck on my guitar was ruined and sold a 600 dollar replacement. I caught this individual in several lies and truly dont understand how these poor ethics have lead to the continuity of this dump.
Kind of overpriced on chinese behringer pedal crap.
