We had a wonderful experience! People were so friendly, patient and helpful, got us exactly what we wanted at a fantastic price. Andy’s is a great local music store for budding and experienced musicians. Highly recommend!!
This is a nice place with a wide selection of instruments and other musical paraphernalia. My only issue is that the staff were cold/snobbish toward my brother and me. Could’ve just been my impression… though, they weren’t very helpful when we asked questions. Anyway, overall a good store.
Great customer service.
They have great merchandise
Felt like I was not wanted in the store also I felt like I was being judged on my appearance the hole time.
Andy’s is great if you know what you want, but don’t plan on testing anything. I had planned on buying an Epiphone half stack because the price was right and I needed something more powerful than my current amp. But I also had my eyes on two similarly priced Fender and Crate amps. In my limited experience with amp manufacturers, I wanted to test all three. I looked for about 15 minutes. I actually tested for about 10 minutes and at an appropriate sound level that was not obnoxiously loud.
Before I could decide on which one I wanted to spend money on with a limited budget of about $600 the sales rep came and suggested that I stop playing because the owner was becoming perturbed and that I was disturbing other customers. After looking around and realizing there were no other customers, I realized that either A) the sales rep was lying and being a jerk or B) the owner/manager was being a jerk. Either way, I decided that this was not a place that I wanted to give business to, so I took my business back home to Music-Go-Round in Mississippi where everyone is laid back and more than willing to help. I’ve even had the sales reps jam with me while testing out equipment there.
Granted, I’m not the most gifted guitarist, but what I play, I play well. There was no excuse for how I was treated. I’d take Guitar Center over Andy’s any day when it comes to music shops in Mobile.
Once we walked threw the door, i explained what i was in the store for. However the lady act as if she did not want my kids to try out an instrument and went back and forth with reasons on why they shouldnt try an instrument. I politely left the store and will never be back. I went because i wanted my kids to have an instrument of their choice for christmas, And my kids still will, just not purchased from this store.

We have used them for our musical needs for years. Tracy and Lance will do all they can to help you with your instruments, musical supplies and music lessons. Tracy also tutors math, and has been a valuable part of my kids being successful in their math class. I highly recommend giving them a try.
Best music shop in town! So much here at the store. The owner, Lance, is a great guy, I get all my guitar gear from him. Recommend to any fellow musicians in Prattville.
Gave advice on what I needed. Thank you
Lance and Tracy are nice folks. They have a good selection of strings and accessories. Neat place for obscure instruments.

Always like to shop at your walmart very nice people and employees
Love it
While I love Walmart, a lot of what we needed was out and so many of the shelves were empty of a lot of items.
Vvery clean
This place has the most friendly staff and a lot better selection than most do nowadays. I go here almost every day. Their meat sucks but all Walmarts meat sucks in my opinion. Lol The pharmacy is the absolute cheapest on most of my meds though and for that reason I gave them 4 stars.
Just like any Wal Mart but we still shop at one. About a 2
They don’t pay their employees enough
Usually a pretty good store but recently they put out SEVERELY expired cat food, and just makes it as clearance. It had expired in March of 2022, so it’s a year past any sell-by date, and is way past a clearance marking. This is very dangerous for people’s animals. Sealed fish/meat that has expired will have no remaining preservatives and will make a pet severely ill.
