Picked up a few items on Black Friday sale.. Place was not busy at all and we felt safe.
Everything I need, I find here
Utter Chaos
Employees help you find things.
mostly stocked
The costumer service there is not horrible but not good very rude sometimes the clearance aisle is very helpful though I go here for Christmas and birthdays wouldn’t go for a snack unless it’s a road trip big big store and has all the things you need
If I could give zero stars I would. This store is horrible. Waited 30 mins to pick an online order because the “new” automated machine was out of order. The machine wasn’t out of order, the staff members who were suppose to be stationed there were on lunch break.
10 employees walked by and no one helped. Then waited another 30 minutes trying to return somethin, to be told to come back in 2 hours because their computer system didn’t show that I had received the item yet. Had email on my phone that it was delivered but that wasn’t good enough.
Lastly there are multiple staff members walking around with masks under their nose or not on at all.
This place is disgusting and customer service is a joke.
It’s Walmart ! Nothing special ! This store is dirty and most of the employees are rude ! Especially the cashiers and the stock/department people! Only go if i absolutely need to !!! Always try and stay away from here !!
It’s Walmart which means unhelpful employees and mostly cheap junk, which is more detestable now that the company is “woke” and pushing liberal ideologies. Unfortunately, sometimes they are the only ones open when you need something quick.

It was neat and tidy there, I was offered help multiple times by the staff and it was easy to understand the offers and promotions.
Love!!!!!
Nice store. Very xlean
Target is an above average retailer of better quality merchandise than found at walmart.
Clean, nice layout & they have a Starbucks!
was told that they have “discontinued” baby registry welcome kits at this location. apparently all the other targets except this one offer them.
This Target is abysmal in terms of getting out. No self checkout and every single time I’ve been in I end up waiting in 1 of the 2 lanes open for more than 5 minutes. How is there a Target in 2023 without any self checkouts what so ever and only 2 checkout lanes open a majority of the time?
No self check out! Long lines.
5. Kohl’s
Address: 160 River Rd, Lisbon, CT 06351 , Lisbon , Connecticut , United States
CLEAN! The store is very clean. The Men’s Restroom is kept clean. In heavy traffic times, shoes and toys may get a bit cluttered, but that makes sense. Not going to dock a star for that.
One thing I want to point out is the overall attitude of the employees: helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. Those three things stick out every time I go to pay a bill or simply browse. Very much so appreciated.
Kohl’s Lisbon has my recommendation and gets 5-Stars.
Love love love kohls!!!!!
Good store & customer service.
.seems to always have buy one get half off another. I do not always want two. No really good deals lately
An upscale retailer with upscale prices. Nice to visit a store that isn’t wally world
Clothes
Need petites and not for old ladies!
When walking in, there were two women associates in the front talking, no greeting or anything, I went to the self pick up, did not find my items. I scanned for assistance but that only gave me the option to call to jewelry or to sunglasses. I went to the front to ask for assistance fully interrupting the associate’s conversation and asked to be helped, not offered it. One associate said she rang someone for help, but dispatched them to jewelry. Without looking me in the face, this same woman walked ahead of me, leading to the back to the self pick up, asking my information over her shoulder. We got to the rear of the store just in time for her to ask my name and then say – oh no it’s too big of an order, so that’s behind the counter. Back to the front of the store she brought out my two items and gave them over. I then realized the color of one of the items was off and tried to exchange, but the woman in costumer service said that it would be best if I went online for an exchange rather than have her do it. So I simply tried to return it. I explained this was an online purchase with my kohls card and she said I see so this is a return without a receipt and she proceeded to prorate my return rather than look into my card. I left with the wrong color item and I will do it myself. I felt so put out and honestly like I was bothering anyone to do their jobs. Get better help Kohl’s Lisbon!!
I will never go too Kohl’s again because they racially profile me when I was in there. I was in there with my granddaughter and her friend. We is at the at the cash register and some guy that looked or pretended to be security with standing behind me glaring at me I was being watched from the time I came into the store until the time I left. I will never go in there again.
From an autistic guy with a fair number of sensory issues: JP’s shop is quiet, and has a calming vibe that makes it easy to relax. I got my ASD & ADHD diagnoses in the past few years, and as I grew more comfortable unmasking, newer places caused increasing anxiety–something I never felt while in the shop.
I made an appointment for my first tattoo with him after my partner had a great experience at his old shop in Westerly, and I don’t think I could’ve made a better choice. Beyond the easy atmosphere, JP’s incredibly down to earth, chilled out, and easy to get along with/talk to. I honestly don’t think I’d be able to trust anyone else with inking me; I’m also a huge fscking nerd, and while JP wasn’t familiar with the subject matter, he worked with me and made some great suggestions that resulted in amazing work. If you have a chance to schedule with him, take it. (Attached are mine, and two pieces he did for my partner.)
JP is not only an amazing artist, but a great shop owner. Responsive and professional, he churns out great pieces in an environment that he’s crafted as being comfortable and clean. I would recommend him all day!
JP Is a small business owner with TONS Of talent. The studio is clean, stylish, and comfortable. JP is a busy artist but trust me you won’t regret booking an appointment with him. He specializes in portrait work but he can do tons of other styles as well.
His shop also has art prints, jewelry, and apparel for sale as well so it’s definitely worth stopping by to check out!

I love this store i going back to get some think for my daughter she got a new place now
Favorite store
Some of the prices went up but still a decent value.
Cheap stuff
something to do
The place is a dump the inventory is cheaply made and way over priced. I saw a manager who clearly needed to bathe try to sell a lady a pre packed bag of jolly ranchers for 10 cents per candy! This store is one everyone should avoid.
Gross
Me encanta

For the first time in months we actually got put food correctly. Of course it shouldn’t be hard to make nuggets.
A nice take out place for a quick rush
Drive-thru guy was very friendly, cashier lady said thank-you, and nothing missing from my bag!
You know…typical Mickey D’s. Not the best food but quick. Service was decent. Facilities needed a good cleaning but I think that’s pretty typical. Don’t eat there often but it can be convenient.
Food was much better, the person you waited on us. Was also the one who brought us the food. Very warm and frys and hamburger cooked right. The table and chairs, needed to be cleaned. We cleaned them are self
Good service tasty food
2 teenage kids were sleeping at a table, looked like they o.d.ed. 1 had his head on the table, the other was falling off her chair
Every time I go to the second speaker, they take multiple orders at the First speaker. Before ever taking my order. This is not good service. Don’t have two speakers if you don’t take orders at both of them equally. This has happened to me multiple times.
the play area is disgusting, they barely keep the floor and booths clean, the actual play equipment seems neglected, the bathrooms often smell of urine.

The sort of person who would go the extra mile for you!
I live in the UK and needed information on Abraham Prescott for a book I am illustrating … Gary Upton was so helpful, happy to share his research and really went the extra mile for me.
I highly recommend this company!
Upton Bass has met my expectations, and has went far beyond them. Their customer service is top notch,I highly recommend their Clef Gut Bass Strings and Gut String Oil, they truly have the vintage feel And sound of the Gut string makers and companies the 1930’s-1950’s. Thanks for everything!
Been here multiple times looking at their basses and they’ve been super helpful with that. Also had them make a new bridge for my bass, they did an awesome job there, too. Eric even did an emergency repair on my bow, and it is holding up strong even after moving to Colorado, and I like how the bow performs, now. It lost its monetary value, but the bow fits me and my bass even better, so it is priceless to me.
Sadly my Swanson bass loves the arid climate of the Mountain West, it started playing like that dream bass I played at Upton, so I won’t be in the market for a new bass. My bass is WEIRD, in the winter in Colorado I never humidified it once and it has shown no signs of any stress from that, but during a particularly humid day in Maine two years ago, it was falling apart and the double layer top (let me emphasize WEIRD) was starting to separate somewhere in the middle of an upper bout. However, if I lived in a place with much higher humidity levels, I would have to get a new bass, and I would choose an Upton bass before a bass’ sound had time to complete one wave length.
Highly recommend Upton Bass. Some people still have preconceived notions about the company and hold reservations, but those people seemed to all have very minimal experience with someone else’s Upton bass from a long time ago and I am going to just assume they have no idea what their butt they are talking out of is talking about. People I know who actually do own an Upton bass, or two, all love them and talk highly of their bass and the process of obtaining one from Upton directly.
It is really amazing. Upton is operating an assembly line of workers all doing their jobs by hand. I guess you could say they brought back the New England tradition of bass making and they are rocking it.
I purchased a ply bass that had issues out the door. The geometries where all wrong (e.g., the neck was too thin and was not pitched to the back of the bass) and it had a buzz coming from the fingerboard and bridge setup. They were unable to resolve the buzzing sound and I took it it to a local luthier to have the problem resolved. I ended up donating the bass our school district and purchasing a Shen.
Also do not purchase bows from Upton. I purchased a $2000+ bow made by J.R. Silva, Brazil, which developed a splinter just above the frog within 6 months and Upton would not warrant the bow. I now have a $2000+ paperweight.
Update, 10/28/2023:
… as to your reply, yes, I initially thought this was a great bass until I started using it for rehearsals and the buzzing appeared. I thought it was something I was doing or even due to the new bow. I drove 4 hours one way to your location to have your staff address the buzzing issue and they shaved a high spot on the fingerboard near first position and the buzzing did not appear while I was there. When I returned home and started using the bass again for rehearsals the buzzing reappeared. I wasn’t about to drive an other 8 hours to give your staff a second chance at addressing this. Instead, I took it to a local luthier who fixed the buzzing through a combination of reshaping both the fingerboard and bridge (the bridge was set up for jazz, even though I had told your staff that I play mostly orchestral music). While working on my bass, the luthier pointed out the other issues that I mentioned in my review. I am not a luthier, so I would not have necessarily recognized these issues except that through pro-longed use I might have developed muscular issues.
It also wasn’t until your staff responded last week that they could not help me with the issues with my bow that I decided to post this. I don’t like to post negative comments, but I wanted to warn other potential customers of my experience. Your staff could not even help with how I might get in touch with Mr. Silva. If you sell someone’s product, I would think you would have some form of contact information. I spent a lot of money on this bow ($2000+) and NO I DID NOT CAUSE THIS SPLINTER TO APPEAR. I do not appreciate you implying so by your comment. Had your staff handled things differently, I would not have posted this review.
You, as an owner, could have handled this differently as well. You *could* have contacted me by phone about this, instead of responding to my review in the manner that you did, and I might have considered removing this review. You could have even contacted me directly before I posted this review, as several days had lapsed between my speaking with your staff and my posting this review. At this point, based on the content of your reply, I will not remove this review.
