Great shop, excellent selection and prices, and owner Larry most helpful and funny guy. I got my guitar there.
Great place with some amazing guitars. Something for everyone, beginners, pros and collectors!
Absolutely awesome place to buy a guitar! Larry was an expert and was able to show my guitars that matched my price range and my experience level. 11/10 would recommend going there if you want to take lessons, buy a guitar or see what they have in stock.
Update: Lorenzo Formato aka Larry said he would get tracking info going or issue a refund he was severely sick with Covid.
This new store sells guitar strings and other music supplies. However, their main attraction is the high end vintage guitars.
Two weeks for simple re-string of classical guitar, 14$ strings cost 60$ to get installed with no other service performed. Sloppy restring and didn’t even clean fretboard. Disappointed is an understatement! Would have expected something more for 80$. This establishment is no friend to the musician and overcharges perhaps to make up for lost return customers. Anyway be advised that you can definitely get better service elsewhere.
I saw a Les Paul I was interested in. I explained to the man that my wife and I were in town from Japan and in the military. He thanked me for our service, then said he would give me a special deal on said Les Paul, and 2900 and this was the lowest he could go. Even after a brief negotiation and cash. I had a bad feeling that this was a shady sales tactic, so I walked away. As soon as I was in my truck I found his listing on Reverb and it was 2800 dollars, which means it was not only 100 dollars cheaper, but, if sold on reverb he would made 2500 dollars due to their 9.4% service fees for selling on their platform. Shade business practice to veterans of two different wars mean he will do it to anyone. Would avoid, if possible.
Took our guitar for repair, dropped it off and the owner never even took our name. Knew we traveled from out of town and said it would be done by 2pm for a restring, we dropped it off at 1015am. Had to call for personel because the business was not open despite posted hours online and on FB. Got there at 1:30 and it wasn’t done. Opted to leave it on site return to pick it up seeing we wasted hours around town allowing time for completion and it still wasnt finished. Returned today and they didn’t know who we were, what the guitar was, what the case was. No notes for the people “watching the store while the owner was away” and the watchers were extremely rude considering the owner never requested our information at drop off. They were ready to send us on our way without the guitar because we ‘didn’t call first for pickup’ even though it should have been completed a week ago. Gave us no charge for the inconvenience. I would have rathered to pay for my service and to have it be handled correctly.1 star. Do not recommend.

I had some extensive rewiring of my guitar done with new Fishman Fluence pickups and a battery pack installed as well. Angelo did an amazing job on the wiring and the service was fast and reasonably priced. I will definitely get these guys to help me with any future projects.
Great customer service
Great setup job on my Martin D35 by Ricky.
His dog Wyatt is great.
Good service
Very Rude ! OMG what a A hole
Tried to check the place out. The sign said it was open from 10:00 – 5:00. Showed up at 3:10. The doors are locked and no sign of activity.
Mediocre customer service. Decent guitar Set-up. Fair pricing. However didn’t seem to be remotely interested in my guitar, my needs, or my future business. Wasn’t familiar with the specs on my newer model guitar. Took nearly a week to finish. Owner’s assistant was kinder.
This location is relatively well-organized. Clothing sizes tend to be a bit mixed up, and I frequently find women’s clothes in the men’s section. I’m usually able to find something I’d like to buy whenever I visit.
I used to work here but I got accused of stuff I will never work for them again if u are disabled adult be careful
Used to be my favorite location! I don’t know who took over but they have messed it up so bad. Everything is jumbled. Sizes aren’t separated by rack tags anymore so you have to look at every tag hoping to find your size in something. It was red tag half off but since they took 5% off red tag 50% off didn’t matter. They stopped $1.49 sundays and mondays. From what I can tell by today the 50% off tags color is no longer a thing…even though the signs say it is because they took 5% off. I’ll miss this location
This time of year not at all good. All the qtips wrinkled and snowbirds invade every thrift store until nothing of value is left. Between that and locals buying stuff and re-selling it at their garage sales making profit on it kills the entire experience
