Hoy tuve una mala experiencia con un empleado hispano Moreno medio alto en esta tienda, que me arrepiento haber comprado ahí, por el trato despectivo que recibí.
Llegué diciéndole a este joven que buscaba un keyword Yamaha y en mi mocho inglés le pregunté que si tenía alguno que pudiera ver y me llevó a ver a algunos, pero su trato fue como si me estuviera haciendo un favor en atenderme y estuviera agotando yo su paciencia.
Vi el keyboard que andaba buscando y le dije que regresaría, poco caso me hizo, pues se fue a atender a otra persona que si merecía su atención.
(Habían dos empleados más, no sólo él)
Mas tarde regresé con mi hija y cuando íbamos a pagar, le comenté a una señora que estaba ahí, que el empleado o hijo del dueño no sé, me había tenido en poca estima y había tenido actitud cuando me atendió y desde ahí vi que no le gustó mi queja y cuando íbamos a pagar, con la expresión de incómoda preguntó de quién era esa tarjeta y que se identificara quien fuera la dueña.
Nunca me había sentido tan descriminada como hoy, no dignas de confianza, son hispanos igual que yo y tan valioso es su servicio como valioso es mi dinero
El keyboard está en su caja, no lo he abierto, yo me fui a trabajar a otra ciudad y regreso a Brandon hasta el sábado.
Estoy considerando la posibilidad de regresarlo, pues en Amazon está al mismo precio.
Ah y para cerrar con broche de oro, cuando regresé con mi hija le habló este empleado en perfecto español hispano, y conmigo siempre habló en inglés, dándose el cuenta que me estaba costando trabajo dar las características del keyboard
Le pregunté que porque a mí no me habló en español si se dió cuenta que yo soy hispana y el habla español, su respuesta fue tan absurda………!!! Es que eso no lo puedo hacer porque no sabía que idioma habla.
My first experience was the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I needed drumsticks the person behind the counter who didn’t even acknowledge when we came in refused to hand sticks out of the case and let me hold them and he stood over me like a vulture. I have tried several times to come to this place and was excited but will never ever spend a penny here these are the rudest worst customer service people I’ve ever experienced in my life
My son has been having guitar lessons with Greg for several months and we are only able to do every other weekend due to having a split family, which they were very understanding on at first. Now they have a student that can be a permanent student every weekend so Greg decided to bump my son out of the class!! They don’t care that we already paid for the class, they didn’t even bother to contact me and let me know!!! My son has been through a lot as it is and now is devastated because he really looked forward to going to class to learn to play the electric guitar. This is to me the worst type of business! Why would you kick a kid out of class because of a new student coming in?!? We have been customer’s for almost 6 months and now we don’t even matter to them! I will never recommend or go to Music Showcase ever again!! If you do decide to go there just know that this can happen to you too!

DJ Drummer Mike is a wonderful amazing awesome talent Drummer and very good!
Sat down for a nice lunch at swampys bar and grill and saw a live performance by none other than DJ Drummer Mike. Phenomenal talent and ability to touch on many genres of music. Would definitely recommend his services to any crowd, male or female… young or old.
So today we went to see Kevin Nash today at the vintage toy universe in Ocala and DJ Drummer Mike was there. The music was so awesome, then we saw where it was coming from. Drummer music God. I don’t have any events to plan but I wish I did now!!! Highly recommend this dude for an amazing show.
We had him booked on a Sunday afternoon opening day of Scallop Season which is huge here on the coast. Our office manager called him late in the afternoon on Saturday the day before to make sure he had everything he needed only to discover he wasn’t coming. He told us he had something he had to do. We have a ton of entertainers and they’re definitely different but most are reliable. Needless to say we did not have music on one of our biggest days of the year. In all in good conscience I would not recommend anyone using this guy.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store has the essentials that we need for our chosen instruments, as well as a good selection for music.
My son takes viola lessons from David. David is always finding ways to involve him in the music community and challenge his skills. My daughter takes guitar lessons from Don. Don is always pushing her to be the best she can be in music and in life. Both children love their lessons and look forward to them each week. We are very happy with the lessons and very glad that we found this store.
Juan and Lewis were so helpful! I have been debating learning how to play the ukelele for years, but they convinced me that I would be able to do it! They also gave me a great deal on lessons and a free instrument! My instructor, Don, is so talented, and I can’t wait to see what I will learn next.
Don Mayer is by far the best teacher for children and adults! He was always professional and my kids love him. You can’t judge a teacher in two lessons. My son studied with him for six years and got a full scholarship to Berkeley and is an amazing musician!
This is a great little place with friendly helpful staff. While the selection is somewhat limited the pricing is decent and they do have a good variety for the space they have. I would definitely do business with them again.
Nice, small music store, friendly staff with a variety of guitar options. The location of the store however is atrocious as Regency Square Mall is a very poorly designed store layout and to make the situation worse they design engineers created a mall with such poor means of entering and exiting the facility that the patrons get the privilege of sitting in long lines (usually 30-40 minutes) just to get to the 2 main exit roads so you can sit through multiple light changes before you can actually get out of this nightmare. Love the store, recommend moving to a better location.
Good customer service
Charged insurance for item for months, but when need minor repair they have no one in the state. Even lied about shipping label to return item. Don’t do it!
The store’s products are fine, but its current management is mind-numbingly incompetent. My saga started off when I ordered a curved head joint for a flute that I already owned, with the challenge being that I needed to find one that fit the flute body. I talked with the store manager over the phone and had the head joint delivered to the store. The head joint arrived earlier than expected, and I brought my flute to the store on Monday, Nov. 12. The head joint was slightly too small, so I left my flute with the manager so that the head joint could be expanded. I was told that it would be ready the next day, and that he would call me. So far, so good – a 5 star review.
At this point, however, things began going seriously off the rails. Having not received any phone call from the manager, I returned on Wed. Nov. 14 to collect the headjoint. When I arrived, I was informed by an associate that the head joint was ready, but that it and my flute were in the manager’s car, and he had just left for at least an hour. Rather than my waiting, they offered to ship it to me, free of charge, with an arrival date of that coming Friday. While I wasn’t thrilled, I accepted and returned home.
Well, the package never arrived, and I called on Sunday to see if someone could let me know when I could expect it. The manager was not at the store that day, but I was told that the flute had been shipped out on Friday (not Wednesday as promised), and that the manager would call me. He didn’t.
Believing that the package had been sent out on that Friday, I patiently waited for a week until the next Friday (Nov. 23) rolled around. Still no package. So I called the store again, and spoke with the manager. He said that it had been mailed out on the Thursday (a day earlier than I had previously been told) and he would find the UPS tracking number and call me back. He didn’t. I called multiple times that weekend, and kept getting the same response (either from the manager or an associate) – the manager needed to locate the tracking number and would get back to me. He never called.
On Sunday evening, the manager said that he needed to reach out to the UPS rep to get the tracking number, but he would call me by 10am the next day (Monday, Nov. 26). He never called. Instead, I called him several times that day, and several more on Tuesday. Each time I got the same response – he needed to find the tracking number and call me back.
Finally, Tuesday at around 5pm, I called one last time and spoke with an associate. After a brief hold, she informed me that the package had somehow “been returned” by UPS and was in the store. IN. THE. STORE. They tried to send it “again”, but instead I drove to the store and picked it up before UPS could collect it.
I have no idea on what day the package was mailed to me, or if it was ever sent at all. I also have no idea why the manager decided to keep MY flute and MY headjoint in his car when left the store that day. Cars do get broken into, and musical instruments would appear to be exactly the sort of thing that someone might want to pawn off to make a quick buck. Finally, it is mystifying that no one realized that the flute and headjoint were at the store until I called at least 15-20 times.
But what really steams me most about all of this is that, having called over and over and over, I never once received a call back from the manager. NOT ONCE. If I was the manager, I would have personally delivered the package to my door, or done something to atone for everything. I didn’t even get the courtesy of a single phone call. Incompetence is one thing – apathy from a manager is another.
When, as a courtesy before writing this review, I called the corporate number for Music and Arts, the only response I receive was that they would forward my concern to the manager. I know exactly how well that will work! In the future, I will shop somewhere else.
They take your money but there is no one except the store to handle complaints against the store. They give you the cooperate number that only handles rentals so any answers or complaints is handled by the store manager who blames everything on cooperate who says they dont handle the store

Many instruments, equipment, cables, amps and other gear instock. I picked up some strings, a new capo and a small part all for a good price. I will be back to look at G&L basses when I’m ready for a new one.
I love this little music store! Owners are very sweet an know there stuff! They offer many maintance services an always do a great job. A gem in the rough.

Saw an equalizer on Facebook marketplace and contacted Yisel C. Diaz. Agreed on price and told her that I live an hour away and would be there next day and asked if she can hold. She agreed. I contacted her next day and told her I would be there around 3:00. Arrived early, around 2:20 to be told she sold it. I asked her why she would do that if she agreed to hold it. She lied and said she never said that. I showed the conversation to an employee there who confirmed that she did agree to hold it. Bad business ethics and not trustworthy!

Cause I trusted your store?and 3 person work there says no is real you want me to show you my pandora yeah I understand your pandora is real silver, the I think I bought not? I said I won’t take it back pay $50 for a metal goes green your wrist?
GISSELLE IS such a RUDE MANAGER (idk if she is a manger she claims to be so I’m leaving my review as that) she has a bully attitude, horrible personality horrible customer service. She answers you back in a hostile manner. She’s literally pushing people away from this pawn with her existence there. She should be fired, everytime we go here she is always with that same horrible personality and I say horrible I mean horrible attitude. It’s such a negative environment and experience. This is not the first time and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I will be speaking to Ricky the district manager.

She probably knows nothing about guitars since half the shop is dedicated to picture framing. Still no reason to diss a potential customer. They had some cool guitars, but so does Guitar Center. Guess who will be getting my money.

I didnt know laughing in this store was an issue. make sure you dont laugh about anything here, you might get scolded by the manager on duty.
It’s way too small to accommodate the amount of customers received daily. Everyone that works there seems like they’re paranoid about something, probably just the after effects of working for Walmart.

Elaina is an amazing piano teacher. She makes learning the piano SO fun for my 5 year old. I am blown away how much my daughter has learned in such a small amount of time. Her passion for playing the piano transcends through her teaching. She has the perfect balance of patience and gentleness when teaching her youngest clients. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

Called to ask for hours and a women responded “we are closed”… I asked for the time they close so I could come back the next day she responded “we are closed now” I asked one more time clarified myself (maybe she didn’t understand my question) she responded “we closed an hour and a half ago then hung up.” Very rude women needless to say I will never being doing any business at this location.
I don’t appreciate their services. They only think of ripping people off. I tried to pawn my item as borrow, not sell my item. I used to pawn it couple of times when I needed money. They refused to loan me the same amount which I used to pawn on same item. I told them I only need to borrow. They are not helpful to their customers. I am very disappoint in them. I heard that “pawn shops” always ripping people off by loan on item too low, under the value, then sell higher price. They are doing their dirty work!
If I could I would not give any stars but unfortunately that’s what we have to do so zero Stars I called them before I started making my round trip they told me for 2.85 g of scrap gold I could only get $30 I called another pawn shop down the street and was told that I could get $50 that was a rip off when I got $30 alone for just $2 at another pawn shop in Tampa… I do not recommend going here to sell your jewelry I don’t know how they price out everything else but it seems like they are trying to lowball everyone so no I do not recommend this place

Really happy with the service I received at Sam Ash in Tampa. They helped me track down a drum head I was looking for, mailed it overnight to me for no additional charge, and helped me rent a cymbal for a session I had. Good attitudes and were very helpful.
I have 2 music stores that are closer to me. But this is the only one that has great staff, great selection and great pricing.

Best music store around
It is a great store with a nice variety but… I got a guitar for my son I also bought the service package they offered me. The guitar is great but the service for changing the strings sucks. Every time we change them we need to get the guitar corrected because they are not careful enough to leave it OK. Moreover, when I told the guy abut it he just said “I don’t know how that happened I did OK” implying it was in my end. I hope they did a better job. One advice, get your stuff from the store but not the service.

My son goes for drum lessons. He seems to enjoy it & likes the instructor. However, I’m not impressed with the staff that work at the store. Never seem to be that busy but difficult to get someone to take payment for his lesson.
This store change too much after covid.. it just to be cleaner and organized.. with more products and better customer services. Now just looks like a Junk yard ..
So, everytime i enter this store, they check package, today i walk behind a caucasian couple and kids, and they did not check there package, also I waited 20 minutes before anybody approached me and family. On my way out the store, my receipt was check and sign, again a caucasian young couple standing at the same counter was not. “And that’s all I have to said about that”
