My shopping experience was in fact the best I’ve had in years, the staff members pointed me in the right direction of certain things on my list some even walked me to them!!
Great staff, great selection , and super easy to find what I need. Also…you have no idea how stress free it is to use unisex restrooms…lets normalize this.
The store town has forgotten about.
Good selection and they don’t have a bunch of boxes and overstock everywhere.
I really didn’t want to leave it one star but the only way to leave a comment do not take any disabled children into the store they will discriminate against you by having you arrested if you if you’re disabled child acts up they will also take a picture of your license plate and call CPS and send CPS to your house to keep you from going to their store the district manager is fully aware of what is going on in his store and he will not do anything to stop it this is a terrible story and it should be shut down I’ll put under New Management in the district manager should be fired
2nd time in the new store will be my family’s last time was over charged for two items and told there was nothing they could do I didnt even want to give one star
Horrible store rat infestation getting into food, dog food, and rat droppings in the store. The manager is rude and you never see him doing anything and if you need to speak with the manager don’t even bother he’s not there and is no help at all.

Musicians exchange has been a staple for my own and many other musicians needs for many years. Always a friendly smile and professional advice.
Love this store and staff . I’ve not had the experience some have shared about leaving guitars there as I am a keyboard player and they don’t repair these.
But all my experiences have been very excellent.
I mainly love going in there because you never know what you might see!
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They made renting my daughter’s clarinet for school a breeze and fulfilled my order within 24 hours. Upon picking it up, they were very accommodating and also briefed me on a few key things I would have not otherwise known about. Pro Tip: make sure your child does NOT peel the label sticker off, as you will be out 3-4 weeks to order a new one in the event you need to send it in for repair. Musicians Exchange makes renting affordable. Highly reccomend. This is also Northridge Middle School’s music shop of choice!
Had a hard time trying any of the basses or bass amps….nothing was even plugged in…..had to run extension cords all over the place . Then the basses and amps were so crowded could not move to even try the gear out. Didn’t feel like rerunning power to the whole department to try any other amps out. Shame would have tried more gear out….but just wasn’t expecting to hook it all up myself. Sorry guys you lost a sale….take ten minutes plug In couple bass amps everyday instead of sitting out smoking…..dude you know who you are….you shut the door on my wife as you went back in after your cig break….seriously….Shame store has potential
Interesting selection of mostly used gear. Friendly folks!
This place is very small and crowded with goods. Most of the things are for those who really want to rock out. Lots of amps and electronic equipment and electrified instruments. Very little acoustic. The photos you see on Google maps don’t quite represent as much what you see in the store because it looks from the pictures like there’s more acoustic than they’re actually is. But the staff seem to be very good at helping customers make decisions.
#accessibility accessibility is poor. There is a super steep ramp step to get into the store and then it’s crowded inside. My friend on crutches with a large service dog had a difficult time getting around inside. I had a small guide dog and found the quarters very cramped. I’m just mentioning this so that people will be aware. Next time I go in, I will leave my guide dog at home and use a white cane to navigate.
The vast majority of the store has everything for electric instruments. There’s a little teeny acoustic room in the back which is so small that you barely have enough room to turn around and certainly not enough room to change your mind. Again mentioning so the people know what to expect.
Hate it I could not find a clarinet ,:(
Bought a brand new acoustic guitar here after years of using this store for my musical needs. The guitar wasnt staying in tune and i noticed the intonation was a little off as well. I took it back 4 days later and they offered me 100 bucks for it. It was brand new and i spend 400 on it and bought a 150 dollar case as well. Thats not the way you treat repeat customers. I will never be returning to this store again.
Unfriendly staff

Rebecca is extremely knowledgeable about string instruments. She went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of, She’s one of the great reasons to shop local!!
Her pricing is very affordable as well, I will be back again!
Good Christian folk that are there to help you with whatever it is you need (musical, jewelry) and in my case that would be music.
The owners of Fabulous Finds are very helpful and kind every time we visit. My son has picked out many musical instruments for his birthday, or for Christmas, with lots of great memories over the years. He continues to buy strings, picks, mics, cords and other accessories for his music studio at this store. We’re so grateful and have enjoyed the great customer service. Our family will always remember this wonderful elderly couple, and all they did for our children growing up. Here is a picture of the custom birthday cake they made for my son on his 18th birthday!
Was very dissatisfied to find out these guys aren’t honest people bought a guitar and case in there and it had only been took out of case to look at it still has tag I had receipt where I purchased it due to unforeseen circumstances I took it back in to sell back to him he was rude an only wanted to give me less than half what I had paid few months back it still has tags and I have receipt thought was pretty sorry not very honest he is a rip off I will tell everyone I know not to deal with them they are crooked like I said it still has tags and I got receipt I could have understood if it had been messed up but was just like I carried it out of the place then the jerk had the nerve to ask me to leave it there and see if he could sell for me I may not be very bright but not stupid I guess I was stupid for buying it there to start with
Brought in a basically new saxophone and he only offered me $150 when A brand new saxophone is $1000 no scratches no dents like do you know how to run a pawnshop??

Gotta enjoy this place. I mostly go for strings for my guitars, primarily D’addario, Dunlop, and Exlir, which they carry here. I’ve bought the handful of others, though: straps, picks, cables (Stagg, to be exact). All solid and worth it. Quality stuff here.
Good folks
Great local music store. We have shopped here for years.
Not to bad
Rude
Good place to buy guitars, don’t ask them to fix anything you own uness you want it damaged.

Wonderful teachers very flexible schedules and I always feel at home being there!
Love the selection and staff here. Their selection of Aria classical guitars is lovely, and their prices are fantastic!!! Everyone whom I have had the pleasure of visiting with has always been a delight to talk with as well. Was first referred up here by Josh over at Hippie Palace. Stop in and check them out; you will be pleased you did
Arrived around 1:00p.m. and doors were locked but lights were on. Luckily there was a kitchen gear store across the hall with the sweetest ladies running it (seriously, give them a visit they’re so nice) killed about 30 minutes in there before waiting on the hall an additional 20. Dude showed up and unlocked the door, I got excited, then he turned off the lights and relocked the doors. I just wanted some guitar string and a string winder… So yeah, Valley Piano was great, just go there
I’ve been by here twice to buy a guitar case and sign my kid up for lessons. First time they were closed (not a holiday) and the second time, they were open but no one was inside.

Found exactly what I needed! In stock, at the right price
Awesome experience
Was nice to visit
Amazing help and an excellent selection of items. It is low staffed (with quality staff). Sells more than just Guitar Items which was confusing
Knowledgeable and good selection but only one guy helping customers and checking people out. Had to wait to buy the stuff we got and didn’t get to look at the guitar my husband wanted to look at. Guy was very friendly and apologetic, but he needed help.
Aron Baker drop the ball twice .when running promotions and not following up.
If you need a guitar or guitar related item then this is the place for you. If you need anything else, go online.
Palmer Music is outstanding. We drive 35 minutes to get there and we live 5 minutes from a different music store. Their selection for acoustics is the best around for Taylor and Martin. But the customer service is where they really shine. They bent over backwards to help us recently. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Awesome music store!
Excellent and quick service in fixing my husband’s guitar. Friendly and talented staff. If you need ANYTHING musically, give them a go!
Talked to Joey in the store today. He took some time to help me plan for an upcoming purchase for our church. They have a large selection of all kinds of musical instruments and they do lessons, as well. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Thanks, Joey!
Usually busy because they’re good at what they do!
My guitar was in for repairs for about 4 months. Almost no communication was provided about status of the repair work. It’s understandable with Covid making it difficult to have parts shipped, but the lack of adequate communication was uncomfortably disappointing. I don’t blame the young individual who was working on my guitar, but rather leadership who should have provided direction on appropriate and timely customer service communication. It doesn’t matter to me that it would have taken considerable time for repairs. But the lack of communication stating that due to a backlog in parts, and it was just a waiting game, would have been enough. A 30 second phone call every couple of weeks or so to advise a customer that no progress has been made is better than nothing…it would have been enough to have left my guitar there for months longer. The ironic thing about all this is that I really like the store and the people at Palmer Music, so I will most likely continue to purchase my music supplies from them and I hope my experience there was a one-off….
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.

Love it, amazing place and a great teacher.
Not a super big store with lots of options but they have the things I need
Great store
Selection consists of mainly guitars, basses and a few country oriented instruments. Limited selection.
Biggest piece of trash you’ll ever meet in your life.
