You will not find nicer people that will go out of their way to help you and staff is knowledgeable and skilled piano teachers
Love it here I always get what I need when I need and the hours are pretty convenient and I love satisfaction I get when I buy my clarinet reeds there all in all great place
3. Mill House Coffee & Cafe
Address: 228 1st St SW, Hamilton, AL 35570 , Marion County , Alabama , United States
Five stars doesn’t do it justice. I would drive the full 6 hours it takes to get here for some of their million dollar bacon sandwiches.
First lets say the coffee is good.
But the avocado toast with bacon was very cold…I assumed they left it in the back for a long time .
Also they charged me for tap water and I never asked for water .
Also they forgot my coffee so I had to eat the sandwich first and drink the coffee after …annoying.
Good quality food/drinks but bad execution/service so not a great experience overall.
Great food quiet place to relax
An item was left off our order the server actually asked were we supposed to have 2 we said yes she didn’t try to make it right before we left the manager said it was a misunderstanding. I’m confused if I in healthcare was told that by a patient & didn’t fix it how does that come out to a misunderstanding? I wouldn’t have even minded paying for it. And would have definitely understood had they been busy but we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant.
The coffee here is delicious, but the service is always terrible. They are extremely rude to anyone who is not in Ramp. I order here frequently and have the same experience every time. I will not be returning.
well first off the food is good and all but my problem primarily lied with the girl at the register. she had an attitude, gave horrible service, and was on her phone when I had gone up to ask about my food that i hadn’t received in 20 minutes. and it’s not like there were a ton of people either, it was just a few people in there. and when i asked about my food (politely) she was very rude and dismissive.
4. Jasper Music
Address: 52 N Walston Bridge Rd suite 104, Jasper, AL 35504 , Marion County , Alabama , United States
A+++. Fixes all my basses. Does everything electronically, changes strings, etc. Good work.
If you need any form of music lessons be it drums, guitar, piano, etc. Nick is your guy. The establishment provides a very relaxed and family friendly environment. He keeps all the accessories in stock such as strings, picks, and instrument cables. Jasper Music is highly recommended and a breath of fresh air in our community
Nicholas is an exceptionally versatile musician and is extremely dedicated to the musical progression of his students!
The music store had the banjo strings I needed.
5. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 1706 Military St S, Hamilton, AL 35570 , Marion County , Alabama , United States
Great job done in the Auto center, Tire rotation & balance.
Love this Walmart! I live in Montgomery and all their Walmarts are terrible compared to.this one. They have all the cool stuff I like at this location like tools and knives.
I live close by so I practically live here
This store has to many long lines at the check out…not enough employees at the registers.
Older small store
Pharmacy people are rude
One of the worst Walmart stores I’ve ever seen. They should clean house in the management.
It makes me an anxious wreck
6. Above the Garage Studio
Address: 1185 Harbor Rd, Winfield, AL 35594 , Marion County , Alabama , United States
Great people that knows a lot about music equipment.
Great service and nice staff
Always ready to help you find what you need!
Its a good place to go for your music needs.
Service here is usually hit and miss. One day is fine, the next is worse.
This store offers everything you’d need for band (and some orchestra) including, but not limited to: mouthpieces, sticks, neck straps, lessons, practice pads, picks, amps, music books, cleaning supplies, and you can also (I believe) order instruments from a catalog.
To save yourself a lot of time and some irritation pointed at you, try to have a closer idea of what you want instead of just saying “I need reeds” or “I need drumsticks”. You will have a much better time there if you do.
The “here or there” aspect of the service as well as some questionable prices on a few items is the reason for my score. If you go in on a good day and don’t mind the prices, by all means, this is a 5 star place.
TL;DR: Whether you’re a band director in need of some instrument repairs before band camp or you need some cool sticks for your mallet recital, Alabama Music has got your back. Just keep on the lookout for good service and bad prices (not saying that it always happens, probably just a fluke)
Have a good day 🙂
Quality equipment large selection of strings Price is Right
$35 for a flute cleaning kit? That says it all.
Researched music stores that “buy” instruments. This store popped up among others. Called store. A woman answered. She was cold & rude. I inquired & she said No. Their competitor also confirmed that they buy instruments.
