This is an incredibly special Drum; deer skin with the triskele symbol, handmade and personalised by Daithi. I live in Ireland and he was the only person I would ask to make this special drum. I feel honoured to have her in my home as she holds the prized place at the hearth of the fireplace in our home, Thankyou Daithi.
This is my second drum that I have made with Daithi Dubh, the whole process from start to finish is truly magical, from choosing your skin All the way through to your finished drum – Daithi guides you in a gentle way, he is a true craftsman. If you ever get the chance to make a drum with Daithi or to get a drum made by him , I would definitely recommend it undoubtedly
Wild Spirit Drums by Daithi Dubh gets five stars! The beginning of my drum building process with Daithi began by him sharing some in-depth knowledge of various drums, their uses, typical building materials and history. That information helped me decide to build a Sámi drum. Daithi guided me through the entire process of building an authentic oval-shaped shamanic ceremonial Sámi drum used in the culture of the Sámi people of Northern Europe. The drum has an incredibly clear sound that produces an energetic resonance, a truly magical drum! If you have an opportunity to experience a hand made drum by Wild Spirit Drums I highly recommend it.

This place is awesome! So much cool stuff what a cool store. I buy music stuff and have been buying my cassettes here and plan on getting a record player for all the records available in the rock and roll room!
I’ve been going to Flashbacks since I was in about 3rd grade. This place is awesome and it makes me really happy to go there. I now live in Bentonville, but every time I got back to Mtn. Home to visit family, I make sure to stop by. The owners are so nice and make me feel welcome every time I come by. I also like to shop at Flashbacks with my grandpa. We just make it a day thing, and we always have lots of fun. I just wanted to share this review because Flashbacks is a place that was a large part of my childhood, and is now a fun place for me to stop by while I’m in town 🙂 10/10 shop!
He found the perfect engagement ring for me there! Excellent staff and merch.
Great customer service and amazing stuff. I give this place 4/5 because they run of certain records very quickly. I am not sure if they can help that but I wish they got more faster. This is a good place to shop but do not expect them to have everything on your list.
Could be a cool place, didn’t like all the DONT TOUCH, YOUR ON CAMERA, “we don’t like people to try on clothes “…….it’s just me but I don’t like it when stores are so concerned about the merch. It feels like your at your grouchy Aunts house not a cool 60s vibe…….it honestly felt like I was imposing, signs signs everywhere signs blocking up the………..
A little overpriced but they have everything you need for your oldies needs.
8. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 168 Walmart Dr, Flippin, AR 72634 , Marion County , Arkansas , United States
We all love Walmart mountain home it’s always clean clerks all ready to help you
Gee great
Can’t beat Walmart anywhere love the customer service and the variety
I like the Flippin Wmart. It’s smaller and more personal. Less stock than supercenters but I always seem to be able to find what I need. Many times when Mountain Home store is out you can find it in Flippin.
Well ran store without overwhelming crowds
Good ol Walmart
Was asked not to carry my gun in the store anymore..
They have friendly associates which is absolutely the only good thing about Walmarts in Mt.Home, Flippin and Harrison. Due to COVID food stock is slim pickings, the pharmacies and pharmaciest rank lowest as does the likes of Walgreens and CVS. The wont fill pain meds even for acute injuries, they are rude loud when discussing your meds with you, if you ask a question you are made to feel like you are bothering them. And from experience of my own and others I know of the Phd has changed drs orders on Prescriptions.
Used to be 2 redbox stations now there’s one that’s constantly bugging out. Whoever is supposed to be stocking this one is not doing their job because this kiosk does not have new movies until at least a week after it’s supposed to have them.
14. Valley Piano Co
Address: 3515 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72801 , Marion County , Arkansas , United States
Such a friendly, helpful place. Reasonable prices, lots to look at.
Great store and large selection..
Great people, a very old store
I went into to buy a guitar. Very small selection
Lots of sheet music and DVDs but it is all on the computer today. Wonderful people. I wish them well!
My visit was to test the integrity of an electric guitar I had. Spoke to the guy behind the counter. (The one with the gray streaked goatee). Told him I was preparing to sell it via Facebook, and all I want to do is see if it sounds as it should. He said it was ok I was like great thanks. The buyer was from outta town and was shopping for guitar supplies. She had just bought amp still needed a cord possibly more. Asked her to meet up there since she was just down the road. She wanted to go in do to the rain. Instantly he started ranting that he’s a business man a professional and I was shady for what I had done. I was very polite. My reply ( I’m sorry I brought you a customer sure she meet up with me to buy a guitar for cheap but she still may need something) she was there for his childish act. ( she replied I do need a cord) He didn’t even bother to respond to her. He looks at me says someone smells bad like cigarettes… Wow 0 stars for your sir. Where’s your public relations at. Your welcome for that sell.
15. Quattlebaum Music Center
Address: 101 W Arch Ave, Searcy, AR 72143 , Marion County , Arkansas , United States
Quattlebaum Music Center is such a great place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and instructors. Our family purchased several instruments from them. We tried shopping at Guitar Center because of all the hype. They could not beat the selection or prices we found at Quattlebaum.
I love this place. Friendly knowledgeable people who are nice to talk to. Great selection of instruments. Clean store and one of my favorites in Searcy.
This is the way a music store should be in every way!
easy to deal with when renting. no problems
Lots of instruments. Decent prices.
Decent selection for a smaller store. Good prices! I’ve bought and rented equipment from them for years. Friendly service!!
Very rude to my wife and all she did was ask a queston please don’t do business with these people we don’t need rude people in this town.
I’ve purchased things from here before, but today, I felt as though my business was not wanted. I took a violin in due to having issues tuning it and the bridge popping off. Was told what I need to do. Told them thank you and asked my daughter if she wanted to look around. Was told to have a nice day. Was not asked if I needed help with anything else. Employee just walked away
Great home town store
16. Musical Elegance
Address: 993 Co Rd 601, Berryville, AR 72616 , Marion County , Arkansas , United States
Great place to shop. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are as good as you’ll find anywhere.
Great selection. Nice little place!
Been using Palmer Music for years for lessons for my kids. Great teachers and excellent experience all around.
My guitar was in for repairs for about 4 months. Almost no communication was provided about status of the repair work. It’s understandable with Covid making it difficult to have parts shipped, but the lack of adequate communication was uncomfortably disappointing. I don’t blame the young individual who was working on my guitar, but rather leadership who should have provided direction on appropriate and timely customer service communication. It doesn’t matter to me that it would have taken considerable time for repairs. But the lack of communication stating that due to a backlog in parts, and it was just a waiting game, would have been enough. A 30 second phone call every couple of weeks or so to advise a customer that no progress has been made is better than nothing…it would have been enough to have left my guitar there for months longer. The ironic thing about all this is that I really like the store and the people at Palmer Music, so I will most likely continue to purchase my music supplies from them and I hope my experience there was a one-off….
Talked to Joey in the store today. He took some time to help me plan for an upcoming purchase for our church. They have a large selection of all kinds of musical instruments and they do lessons, as well. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Thanks, Joey!
Usually busy because they’re good at what they do!
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.
18. Momentum Coffee
Address: 6988 US-62, Gassville, AR 72635 , Marion County , Arkansas , United States
Y’all. I had “dancing in the rain” and I was leery about pineapple in my coffee, but it really was good! (I love coconut coffee) Smooth coffee, pleasant barista, and a unique flavor combination that was Delicious! My children enjoyed the watermelon lemonade. Very creative and fun flavors!
A nice little store within a store . Good coffee!
Excellent place to relax with a cup of coffee and stroll around the mini booths in the vintage flea market. There are lots of things from antiques to handmade items. They have sections with handmade jewelry and homemade quilts. Everything that anyone would like to look through. They even have booths for the guys!
Very cute and nice shopping area too.
Nice place. Has pretty cute decorations and its put together with a little shop with booths. The coffee tasted great! I would definitely recommend.
What a weird place. I ordered a cappuccino and the young lady asked me if I wanted the foam….I thought that was strange. It was coffee with 2inches of white foam on top. It is inside of a consignment store. There were kids running around and yelling, a man speaking a foreign language loud on the phone from the balcony above, and half way through my coffee an old couple cam in and had a KFC spread on the table in front of me. No kidding it was straight out of a dream. Weird. Weird. Weird. But I would try it again just to see what will happen next time.
I was very disappointed with the customer service. We went in and ordered drinks to go, we decided to get pastries and dine in. The barista/cashier said she would bring our drinks out when they were ready. I thought that was kind and left a 15% tip before our drinks were even made. When the drinks were ready the barista yelled our order was up. I raised my hand and said over here (mind you she said she would bring them to us). She again yelled out our order. I again signaled where were were while making eye contact and eating our pastries. This continued a few more times until I walked up and got my drink with no straw and walked out. Two stars instead of 1 because the coffee and pastries were good. As a small business owner myself I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I think friendliness is so important.
I went for a cup a coffee and I can’t even explain the way I heard a male guy loudly spoke to one of the employees Cross the room. Keep in mind they were being so loud that made the experience so uncomfortable. Hope they are not the bosses cause it would be the last place I could recommend to work for. Definitely not worth my time to come back there. Hope the owner gets aware of it.
19. Guitar Center
Address: 160 E Joyce Blvd, Fayetteville, AR 72703 , Marion County , Arkansas , United States
I was in need of high-quality sound equipment on a shoestring budget. Will and Andy hooked me up with new and used gear that has met my needs perfectly. And the price was MUCH lower than anticipated. Thanks, guys!
Good selection. I appreciate the quantity of used gear as well. I do wish they didn’t push the extended warranties so much.
Ordered a drumset through here and after getting it home found two wing bolts that was damaged. These guys went above and beyond to make it right even though it was Pearl that was at fault and not them. Only music store I give my money to. Excellent staff and excellent customer care.
Always helpful! They matched online deals in the store
Todo los estrumentos muy bonito
I like to be able to go to a music store and have the salesperson hover over me. They handed me the guitar and said they would be back later. Kudos . The only problem which wasn’t that serious, but could be a great help. The strings on both upper-end guitars were old and in need of a change. Hence four stars.
They told me they buy guitars then I bring in my new guitar to them to check it out and the guitar was never played since new and they broke the volume knob on my guitar and then after that they will not buy it after braking it or even offer to fix what they broke they are scando and my guitar was sold at $499 and they offered me $52 if wasn’t broke when I brought in to them it was broke because of them I would not recommend them to any one and if the big guycomes from
back room leave asap because he will abuse your guitar and brake it I am reporting them to corporate office and attorney general of Arkansas too and I will not be back there every again too
No one acknowledged my existence. I was prepared to buy something but no one seemed interested in even saying hello.
Nothing in stock. Kinda rude.
20. Arkansas Musicworks
Address: 2400 SE J St, Bentonville, AR 72712 , Marion County , Arkansas , United States
Nice selection and staff is helpful! I went to the chain store in Fayetteville and these guys blew them away on service!
Great music store in Bentonville. Staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. Went in look I ng for a simple adapter. They had multiple options and treated me awesome even though I was only there for a $6 item. Tom Katz and the rest of the staff are always amazing to work with. Even found a cool steel drum I had never seen before
It’s the first time I had been to a place of music that sells music instruments from guitars to pianos from tambourine doldrums . P.A. systems to strings for fiddles to cellos and a warehouse full of all the parts to fix it all. The one place that has it all.
Great place.
Great place
Guitarras, pianos, audio profesional, accesorios, clases de música y buenos precios.
They put my kid in their waiting list 3 months back. We tried to call instructor 3 times and left voice messages but no response ever. It is so unprofessional and we did not like it….
Case And bow is falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend musicworks to anybody. Complete rip off. I got a 15 inch viola and within a year I had to get rid of it, because it was poorly made.
Selection was ok. Only 2 left handed guitars both strata, no lefty basses. Limited drum selection. Good selection of music books and accessories, though. Guy behind the counter (older dude named Tom) was a jerk both times I’ve been in there. Will not be going back
