Bought IRIG pro duo I/O from reverb, scitscat music sent the product. The device does not turn on. It should turn on with AA batteries. I called this store for customer support to find out if this is a common issue.
Instead I was instructed to call IK to make sure I was properly using the device. He was rude and condescending.
“Most people send them back and they actually work.” Needless to say I hung up.
Thank you sir, I know how to put AA batteries in, it’s just not working. The product is faulty. I’ll just wait 3-5 days for a response from IK after waiting 3-5 days to get this product from you. Thanks for nothing.

I made 3 order online and none of those were dispatched, refund incomplete, awful treat to the customer, very bad attitude to people. I just made the order for a product they have and GUITAR CENTER where I am used to buy don’t, but definitely I won’t go anymore to this people, I always will shop at GUITAR CENTER even if I have to wait a bit more for a product 100%!! If you need a knowledgeable luthier that isn’t going to overcharge you, Glen Perry is the guy you wanna talk to.
Amazing instructor with great knowledge and work ethic. He’s just incredible. Has been working with my son for over a year. Highly recommend.

Both my kids go to Glen Perry Musical Instrument Repair – By Appointment and we have been going almost a year. The staff is great and they work with you to make sure the teachers match your child’s learning style.
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Glen after reaching to see if he could help with my Peavey tube amp which stopped making noise. He told me he could take a look at it and I dropped it off on 1/30/22. I wasn’t in a rush but I was surprised after not hearing from him for almost two weeks, so I called and sent texts on separate occasions, and no response. He finally got back to me saying he was on vacation which was understandable, and that the amp only had a minor soldering issue. He said it would be ready soon but the process repeated itself — I didn’t hear from him, I called a week later and no response. It was only when he answered another call of mine on 3/3/22 that he confirmed the amp was being worked and that I could pick it up on Friday 3/5/22, so I went and I tried it out in his office. The amp was working, but it had this unusual hum that I hadn’t heard before. I asked about it and he said it was because AT&T was working on some lines nearby and not to worry, so I trusted him. I’ll give him credit too because he did not charge me due to the delayed service. However, I got to my studio and played through the amp only to hear that same hum for about 2 minutes, and then all the sound cut out as it had 5 weeks earlier. I called Glen and surprisingly he did answer, but he was totally apathetic. Not only did he not tell me what the issue could still be, but he refused to take a look at the amp again and he did not give me any recommendations for other techs when asked. I confronted him about his poor work and his nonexistent communication skills and he offered no apology or explanation. This experience was surprising to say the least given all the good reviews I’ve seen of Glen.

This store will sell damaged, defective or repaired instruments as new without telling the customer.
A few months ago after returning an item, I noticed on my credit card bill that I wasn’t refunded. Recently I brought a guitar back after having it for less than a week, the manager refused to accept the return.
Their discretionary return policy is subjective and is not based on any formula. They can block you from returning a high ticket item anytime without warning, beware, avoid this place.
Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to help and when I finally got someone he was a dead! Beat!
I called the store all the way from West Palm Beach to confirm that they had a certain instrument in stock and they “double checked” and confirmed it so I drove 70 miles down there to get it, and after a spending 30 minutes for them to even start looking for it to finally recognising they looked at the wrong thing. Wasted trip, no apology.

All I can say is Mom & Pops Music Store. Customer Service is their ultimate skill. Excellent staff and great prices. Not as big as Sam Ash but they will take care of you better than any Music Store I’ve been to. Classic Rock Music Vibe in the store.

This place is a big Joke, after going there 4-5 times over a period of time… same old business as usual… workers that don’t know prices of anything especially the RECORDS have to stand at the counter while getting in touch with the owner to explain records pice by pice in detail of their condition and what knot.. after spending 2 hrs of diggin with a pile of 60 albums..!!! It would take hrs.!!!! And when the owner finally shows up one day.. biggest jerk… and acts like your business there he could really do without.. well guess what… ✌ . And good luck with that arrogant attitude, anyone who shops there will see… “WASTE OF TIME”
Trash service. One day of repair turned into weeks and lies about being able to get my $50 back. Everything is way overpriced here anyways. Guitar centers got reasonable prices and more attention to customer service along with guarantees and honesty. Its funny how they said in that review about credit card fraud that they “dont have the means to keep client info stored” like an employee doesn’t have access to pen and paper at work and everything with receipts is logged online it has to be for tax purposes. Can the managers hire more competent people like the small few younger people they have but the older employees and upper management gives real bad vibes of contempt and snobby for no reason if you want mom n pop music stores Allegro on flagler or sam ash anything but here
No one in the store told me about the policy were you only have 15 mins to play everything, so after I was done playing a guitar, I went to play drums because I was looking around and wanted to see what they had to offer, so I could add to Christmas list of things to buy. This guy comes and was really hostile to me, he threatened to call the police on me, just because I touched a drum with a stick he asked me, in a really mean way to put the sticks away, also there was a kid playing everything really loud and he saw him but didn’t say anything. When he asked if I was 18 I told him I was a minor(I’m 16) and apparently that got him nervous, I ended leaving the store. Never coming back. Btw I was really polite and calm with the guy, I was going to tell him that I was going to buy but he never gave me the chance to talk. You’re better off going to guitar center, Sam ash, Duffy rare violins, and Allegro music center.

Looked nice from the outside. But was closed at 4:45pm, before displayed and published closing hour (5pm on Saturdays as of Feb 27th 2022).
On Dec. 10th. the fifth day of HanukkahI went to the store to buy a Ukelle. In the past I have bought 2 other On Dec. 10th. the 5th. day of Hanukkah I went to the music store to but myself a soprano Ukelle, having bought 2 other Ukes there. I picked up a yellow soperno Uke and took it to the desk. I asked the owner a rather tall stout man in his 6o’s to help me tune the Uke. His reply was I am to busy for that. Understanding that I suggested that someone else could get me a tuner. He looked me directly the eyes and said” PUT DOWN THE UKE AND GET OUT OF MY STORE”. I Stood there in absolute SHOOK! What did I do to cause this absurd response. Was it that I am a brown skin man with a colorful yamaka? Did he take me for a Muslim and decided to exercise his right to be a flaming bigot? I’d like to say bless him but I just can’t. There is no place for bigotry period.
One of the worst places i have been. first time i have felt so discriminated against. i was going to buy a 26k piano but these people are horrendous. They pre judge me by the way I look that I couldn’t afford any of the pianos. extremly bad experience i walked out. ill take my business elsewhere.
