Excellent service. All the employees were happy, helpful, and knowledgeable. The store is huge with incredible variety and selection. Way better than the other area Walmarts. Especially love their Scan & Go, self checkout area. It is like the ones on the mainland. Plus they had numerous other registers opened. Definitely recommend this store ♡
Very friendly.
One of the better Walmarts on island. Lacks grocery but has the usual in every other category. I find the staff here to be exceptionally friendly compared to other stores around. McDonald’s located inside aswell and a good garden section.
Good bargain for your money as always.
Friendly staff, can usually find good parking, but there have been a couple occasions they didn’t have what I needed. And that’s really why you go to Walmart. Overall still good experience.
Recent visit to pick up a few random items. The first thing we “mainlanders” noticed was that several items we were looking for were out of stock. It took a moment for us to realize that being on an island does have it’s limitations. However, staff was friendly, place was clean and would recommend. It’s a Walmart, but with a few logistical stocking issues due to island location.
horrible service and they barely speak english
In a word . . . R U D E !
It is unprofessional to be talking with a coworker in another language in front of a customer.
Whether or not your conversation is about the customer it’s VERY terrible work ethics. It’s inconsiderate & quite disrespectful. The customer WILL be thinking “are they talking about me?”
I get it, your from another country. But you’re in America now. & although America is made up of several ethnic backgrounds, the ultimate spoken language IS English.
No matter what company it is, if there’s direct contact verbal &/or in person with customers, clients, patients etc., During initial interview or orientation, the possible/new employee should be told NOT to speak to other employees in a different language while on the clock.
It’s bad enough trying to understand someone with an accent &/or getting them to understand what you’re trying to say.
It’s a bit upsetting when you’re trying to ask for assistance from an employee & they have difficulty understanding what’s being said. They call over a coworker to help them help the customer but the coworker also don’t understand. Now they’re talking to each other in “their” language in front of the customer… THAT IS insensitive, disrespectful, inconsiderate & plain ignorant.
Wal-Mart of Mililani has the worst service of any Wal-Mart I been. If you can avoid it I would. Try the Wal-Mart in Pearl City.
Thanks for selling me that 12-string Jasmine, i was in dire need of a new acoustic but didn’t want to break the bank and now I couldn’t be happier. It’s now my main instrument when I go to write a song

Ron is the best. Great place for unique old guitars and equipment.
We visited WestSide Music Hawaii today looking for a decent ukulele for our granddaughter who has joined an ukulele club at her school in Oregon but is still using a cheap plastic ukulele we bought her years ago.
Ron Ravelo, the owner of WestSide Music Hawaii is a pleasant and knowledgeable person when it comes to instruments and he also seems to have the best prices of all the places I called. We bought the beautiful concert size ukulele Ron is holding in the photo. It has a lovely sound and comes with a soft zippered carrying case and a free ukulele tuner. It is also packaged in a strong cardboard box suitable for mailing. My husband bought the exact ukulele from Easy Music Center before it went out of business in Pearl City but he paid almost $30 more for his ukulele. He also didn’t get a free tuner or free soft case. As you can see, Ron’s prices are highly competitive and the customer service he offers is really commendable. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience in any music store before so if you want a good deal on an ukulele, guitar, drums, keyboards, etc. stop by and check out Ron’s selections. You won’t be disappointed.
so many things you can find there. Nice variety for music items. Nice staff too
First time there and very helpful
The shop has brand new & second hand guitars. Electric & acoustic with & without electronics. Strings, wires other accessories & friendly service. I needed guitar strings & cord for my acoustic guitar. Found what I needed so yes I will go back.

I thought that you store name was only for guitars until I went inside. The place was perfect for musicians! Love yah store!
Great music store with helpful and friendly staff. Usually I stick to local businesses but the local competition is all the way in honolulu and they dont have the same selection.
great place for musicians. lots of great brands to check out. and they let you play!
Same as all other G.C.’s except James at front desk is a good guy. He will help with your needs.
Really helpful staff. They will take the time to answer your questions and help you with your shopping.
Been trying to get an associate to answer their phone for the past 5 day with no luck. Simply trying to find out if they carry a certain product before driving down from Hawaii Kai. Must be always super busy or super short short handed, Bummer!!
Waited 20 minutes on hold just to get hung up on.
So they are only open till 7pm, they don’t let anyone new in after 6:30. I’ve been in line for an hour because this store has no restrictions on a time limit you can spend inside their store. This is absolutely ridiculous, why should I wait in line for over 30 minutes just to be turned away cause they have no policy restrictions……

This is my first time taking Piano lessons and I am happy that I found Ian! I saw his information on yelp and gave him a call to set up a lesson. From the first lesson I could tell that Ian is knowledgeable and patient. He teaches in a way that is simple and easy to understand. Not only has my ability to play the piano improved but also my understanding of music theory has increased. I like that he also incorporates fun pop songs to learn. I would recommend taking Piano lessons from Ian!
My daughter has been taking lessons from Ian for a couple of years now. Before and during Covid and Ian has been Awesome! He has made every effort to support our Ohana even offering virtual lessons via Skype which has been great because we were not comfortable meeting face to face due to Covid. Through it all our daughter has shown tremendous growth and I’m extremely grateful. I don’t know if other instructors could have been as flexible and effective in his course offering. Mahalo!
I have taken lessons with Ian for almost a year now, and I cannot recommend him as a teacher highly enough. Ian is patient, knowledgeable, and adjusts to my personal goals and abilities (and work/life schedule). Over the course of a year, I have learned to read musical notation and play correct rhythms. Again, I recommend Ian for a student of any age, at any stage of learning piano. He’s terrific.
