They did an incredible job with my dad’s 60 year old acoustic guitar.
If you’re looking to record a video demo, look no further. Brent and Mike are great and had a great set-up. They also have some audio equipment and a even a few hard to find guitars for sale. Great guys with a great business.
Great people, over priced used stuff. Knowledge staff with understanding across most instruments. Some nice and not so nice used guitars in stock. BEM is part of the problem in this online society, people will come here to see things in person, then go to Musicians Friend to buy. Give it a try, but you will probably end up buying somewhere else. Jeff
These guys are always willing to help and are really knowledgeable .
Nice music shop.
I bought everything from guitar cases to a JBL top of line PA from them before I found out they are totally BOGUS! Sold me used merchandise as new, then got an attitude when I called them on it! Cuss me out when you’re a thiefing liar? I don’t think so! I wouldn’t buy a guitar pick from these people!!!
Not enough inventory
I bought a lot of things from Brent when the store sold instruments and amps and was always happy with them. Unfortunately, things have changed. I brought a guitar in that needed a rewire job. I was aware they were busy with festivals but they kept my guitar for 2 months and finally called and told me they didn’t have time to fix it. Needless to say, I wont be back.
3. Guido’s Hot Springs Music
Address: National Park, 812 Higdon Ferry Rd, Hot Springs, AR 71913 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
If you are from Hot Springs you already know. If you’re from out of town you need to stop by and check this place out.
Extremely nice and very knowledgeable; plus, there are some real gems if you’re looking for an amp or guitar! Guido’s prices are very competitive, especially for some of the rarities he’s got in store. Want something to gig and tear up? He’s got you covered. Want a piece of history that will be your muse? Be prepared to be overwhelmed. Seriously though, buy from Guido’s – he was nothing but kind and helpful, and obviously has a deep love for what he does.
Great shop to buy guitars with reasonable price tag! Many choices and cordial atmosphere to converse with the members there, who himself is a musician. Guitar lesson are also available there.
Great service and reasonable prices.
Never had a good experience here. Claimed I accused him of “stealing my friends guitar a few years ago”. I was 16 at the time he accused me of this. “a few years ago” I would’ve been in middle school. Because of this, he refused to buy a piece of used equipment from me. Truth be told, I just don’t think he had they money to buy it and made up a story to get me out of his shop. He asked me to never come back, and I certainly never did. I was also testing out a Line 6 amplifier and he would continuously come over to the amp and turn off the distortion. I was playing it at a very reasonable level, but he apparently doesn’t like metal, so he would just turn off the distortion and walk away. What the heck? I bought the amp – but I bought it from another shop. Take your business to Big Event Music. Its a much better shop.
I bought a 1949 Gibson LG3 from Guido at the Arlington Guitar Show this past weekend that he stated to be all original. Within 24 hours I discovered the bridge had been replaced which effects its value greatly. I asked for some compensation for this change & Guido refused to give me a break on price & refused to take it back. He stated “I should give him back money from our last transaction or he would do nothing for me”. Is this how you want to be treated by a so called expert ? There was no offer ever made to buy back both guitars back from me at all. Never again will I be burned by Guido !
Does anyone know if $5 is a fair price for two plastic bridge pins we bought here? We also bought a string which was extra, so the total was well over $5 according to the receipt, which I kept. Seems like you can find six bridge pins for $5.99 online with free shipping. Wondering what the price for a full set of six bridge pins is at this store? I’m guessing $15? Just asking… (update Jan 10, 2019: Big Event on Grand sells bridge pins for 75 cents each, as opposed to $2.50 each at Guido’s.)
4. Billy’s House of Guitars
Address: 201 E Broadway, Glenwood, AR 71943 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Awesome place! If you love guitars, this is definitely a place to check out!
Great museum type experience and a wide variety of old vinyl and other music memorabilia. Just a mediocre selection of guitars for sale. Billy’s widow does a good job running the place. Check to make sure it is open before visiting.
Awesome!! Billy was super nice and the history in that place was amazing!!
Good folks here, it is a pleasure to deal with Paul he is a kind hearted person and eager to help, he also is a great musician and knows his way around the guitar.
Great place for your music needs.
Paul is awesome! He is friendly and very knowledgeable about musical instruments!
Not to bad
Great local music store. We have shopped here for years.
Rude
Good place to buy guitars, don’t ask them to fix anything you own uness you want it damaged.
7. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 1710 S 4th St, Nashville, AR 71852 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Always know, Wherever we go, we can count on a Walmost being there. Always have what we need.
Good
I travel the country as a means of employment. I’ve shopped Wal-Marts from coast to coast and from border to border. I can state for a fact Wal-Mart store #33 in Nashville, Arkansas is, hands down, the best Wal-Mart I have shopped, EVER! The customer service experience is absolutely fantastic every time I step foot in this store. Nashville, Arkansas; you guys have a town you should be proud of and you certainly have a Wal-Mart to be proud of.
Pharmacy is not very efficient. Slow to fill meds.long wait to pick up meds.Hardly ever have more than one person at register.
Just what I’m looking for
Couldn’t find a coffee mug tree. Was supposedly sent someone to assist me but after waiting a few minutes I gave up.
We did the grocery pickup and all of the fresh produce AND meat i was given had the yellow expiring sticker on it so instead of getting what I paid for I got the cheapest and oldest food. So what did they do with my money that wasn’t spent on my fresh produce and meat?? Very disappointed.
Y’all need to send your
employees back for a seminar on how to deal with the public! And leave your pist of mood at home
Walmart sucks there’s to many people in there
8. Rich Mountain Music & Jewelry
Address: 801 Mena St, Mena, AR 71953 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
We had a great experience this morning purchasing a guitar for our daughters birthday. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Rebecca is extremely knowledgeable about string instruments. She went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of, She’s one of the great reasons to shop local!!
Her pricing is very affordable as well, I will be back again!
My family and I have been there a couple of times to purchase a violin and guitar. We felt very comfortable and they were courteous and helpful. We will be back and do recommend this shop.
Was very dissatisfied to find out these guys aren’t honest people bought a guitar and case in there and it had only been took out of case to look at it still has tag I had receipt where I purchased it due to unforeseen circumstances I took it back in to sell back to him he was rude an only wanted to give me less than half what I had paid few months back it still has tags and I have receipt thought was pretty sorry not very honest he is a rip off I will tell everyone I know not to deal with them they are crooked like I said it still has tags and I got receipt I could have understood if it had been messed up but was just like I carried it out of the place then the jerk had the nerve to ask me to leave it there and see if he could sell for me I may not be very bright but not stupid I guess I was stupid for buying it there to start with
Brought in a basically new saxophone and he only offered me $150 when A brand new saxophone is $1000 no scratches no dents like do you know how to run a pawnshop??
9. FYE

VIP membership was free plus saved 10% on my purchase of some headphones!!!
I love this store. While the fate of music stores like this is up in the air, I will continue to enjoy shopping here as much as I can. From unique gifts, video collection, games, ect..
Good place to get movies
Kool stuff.
Awesome place to buy movies and music
People working there were a little helpful
No where as good as it used to be. Large store but everything is ridiculously overpriced.
Not a big selection.
NO fudge
False advertising
BOGO beanies (no exclusions listed) are not BOGO….they are BOGO with exclusions. I spoke with 2 staff members who could or would not help and there was no manager.
Take the signs down or honor them.
10. Pat’s Vinyl Records
Address: 3970 Park Ave G, Hot Springs, AR 71901 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Amazing place, great variety. Found a Prince 1989 Batman album, wish I had the money to buy it. Pat is super fun to talk to, knows a lot about music. Super kind, and if I lived in the area, I would come back often.
Great store. Huge selection. Helpful owner.
The best place in Hot Springs to find good quality records at decent prices. The variety there is incredible as well. Pat is knowledgeable with music, so he is able to help you out in any way. Highly recommend going.
Needs to update store hours. Drove 20 minutes to see that they were closed.
11. RockTown Music
Address: 3411 Main St STE.4, Bryant, AR 72022 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Awesome experience with Bryon he aloud my son to come in and help build his own guitar.
My husband took my grandmothers guitar to this place to get fixed and it was ready super quick and he did an AMAZING job. I’d give this place 10 stars if that was an option great work! I will definitely recommend this store to anyone and everyone I know.
Byron is a great guy and has always done fine work on my guitars. I highly recommend him to anyone.
Great spot, super amount of knowledge and experience with repairs among other services. Same problem everybody else has with out of stock items here and there.
Nice, friendly environment. This guys is experienced in his craft and genuine in the way he conducts business. A rare find these days.
Took a vintage martin guitar for repair. Ended up with a bad experience. I’ll just leave it at that.
Dishonest and lazy. He has earned that distinction with me after implying that I attempt to make and sell a counterfeit guitar on the market. His boundaries are not clear. He should have refused the work order instead of hemming and hawing trying to teach me a lesson in trademark infringement. I also hired him to put Seymour Duncans in a Squire. When I called him for progress report he said he was “working on it now”. I go back 2 weeks later and the Seymour Duncans hadn’t even arrived yet. I have no trust in dishonest and lazy people. Oh, and Bryon, please dont call me about this post. If you’re a good luthier, I suggest you keep your nose in the workshop out of site from the customers.
I took my 2001 Les Paul to Bryon and Dave in February 2019 for a basic set up. I bought it new and always stored it in the case and very rarely had it out. Very careful with it. The guitar only had one very small blemish on the front. When I got it back it had several deep dents on top edge close to the back and a couple dents in the back itself. They swear they did not damage it but I know for a fact it wasn’t damaged when I dropped it off. I had just polished it before I took it there. Bryon had promised it would be ready Saturday the 23RD and it was not. He then told me it would be ready the following Monday which it was. I’m not sure if they just got in a hurry or what exactly happened but they pointed to the paperwork stating they were not responsible for any damage…. Not a good way to run a business. I should have inspected it and made note of any defect with them before dropping it off. Lesson learned!!!
12. Remix Music
Address: 3855 Elm Springs Rd, Springdale, AR 72762 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Great people. Great setting. Variety of instruments.
Helpful, clean, professional, good prices, veteran… need I say more?
We bought a guitar here for our son a couple weeks back. One guy was way too salesy and talked too much but I like supporting local so we bought one.
Friendly’s staff knows equipment.
Firstly, this shop provides great service on guitars, setups and string changes. But beware of purchasing a guitar that is not currently hanging on their shelf. For example, the Fender American Professional II Strat, comes in 9 different colors. If you want a color that isn’t hanging on their wall, they will offer to get it for you, but it will be considered a “special order” and not eligible to be returned. This is an odd policy since they are an authorized Fender dealer. If you order the guitar direct from Fender, or Sweetwater, or any other online retailer, the guitar is eligible for return no questions asked. So essentially, trying to support a small shop will eliminate any guarantees offered by the manufacturer. Understand, I realize a small shop has limitations and must do what’s best for their bottom line. However, it was never communicated to me “hey if I order this guitar for you, it’s unreturnable.” The thought never crossed my mind to ask, since the item I ordered was a stock offering from Fender, nothing special or custom about it. It’s extremely surprising that a Fender dealer is not able to provide the same customer satisfaction policies that are in place by Fender themselves. Most of the guitars hanging on the walls are mid-tier or entry level guitars, so if you want something better, and you want the peace of mind to return it if you’re not happy with it, then I suggest looking elsewhere. If you need a great setup on your guitar, ReMix can do it.
Didn’t like the guy’s attitude or the prices. I probably won’t be back.
Love this place but couldn’t find what I was looking for.
The old guy was nice and got a good deal on my Boss PS 6 but the 2 employees or malinngerers.
13. Joyful Noise Guitar Central
Address: 116 E Main St Suite 2, Clarksville, AR 72830 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Beautiful instruments at affordable prices. Dolan’s the man to speak to if you are at all interested in pursuing music, or looking for quality in your instruments. Thanks Dolan for the excellent customer service.
Wow..Gretch guitar dealer very nice.
Great pricing as well thxs..
I went to Joyful Noise Guitar Center to buy a set of strings for my mandolin. I enjoyed visiting with Dolan, the store owner (who I’d never met before), and found we had interests in common. Not only did I get my mandolin strings, I also found a clip on tuner for it. Dolan was building a mandolin from a kit, something I never knew was available. I also checked out his catalog for harmonicas, something I plan to purchase in the future. Now that I’ve been there, Joyful Noise Guitar Center will be my go-to place for my musical needs.
Was not open

15. Palen Music Center
Address: 4093 W Sunset Ave #101, Springdale, AR 72762 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Great place to purchase music instruments whether you are a beginner or professional.
So helpful. Need maintenance, go here.
Knowledgeable rep who answered all my questions.
Friendly and careful repair. Would give 5 Stars if a more affordable option/tier of instrument was available to increase accessibility. We rent to own and carry insurance, paying about $45 a month for each instrument.
Very informative and easy to work with
I did not want to provide contact information for a relative in case I don’t make my payments. There was no other option when renting from Palen. I think it’s wrong to want to hit up extended family if I don’t keep my committments.
I have never had an instrument fixed properly. I don’t know if their piccolo person is just lazy or they don’t know. I will get my instrument and take it back and extra time or two to get them to actually fix what I asked them to fix the first time. I’ve even had my instrument come back more damaged than when I sent it in. Make sure you take extensive note of the condition given and condition returned. Make sure you give it a very good once over when you get it back too.
I took my flute to Palen Music in Springdale, AR for a Key and pad adjustment on January 22, 2021. They said the instrument will be kept in quarantine for 3 days, then they will look at it. They took my credit card info, gave me a receipt and Left. Latter part of the next week I called to see if my instrument is ready to pick up. They said the flute is not ready because they wanted to give me an estimate before fixing it. She gave me the estimate on the phone and said we call you when it is ready. I did not hear from anyone the next week and I called back. They said it takes usually two weeks to repair, so we ‘ll have it by Thursday and call you. Thursday, I did not hear from anyone. I called on Friday and asked them if my flute was ready. After a long wait she came back and said the instrument is not ready and it will be next week. At that time, I told them I am picking up my instrument since it has been exactly three weeks to this day. She Also let me know that they already had charged my credit card. When I got there, they had not issued me the credit. After waiting another 20 minutes for that, they told me they can’t get hold of the accountant to issue the credit at this time but they will send it to my email account. I picked up my instrument on 2/12/’21 and left. A bad experience for me.
16. R & J Supply
Address: 1021 W Sypert St, Nashville, AR 71852 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
Amazing customer service….will definitely be back ❤️
First time in since the transition from Jack’s. Good quality equipment and friendly staff.
Great store! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and I’ve never had a bad experience there. You can’t go wrong shopping at Palmer Music!
My guitar was in for repairs for about 4 months. Almost no communication was provided about status of the repair work. It’s understandable with Covid making it difficult to have parts shipped, but the lack of adequate communication was uncomfortably disappointing. I don’t blame the young individual who was working on my guitar, but rather leadership who should have provided direction on appropriate and timely customer service communication. It doesn’t matter to me that it would have taken considerable time for repairs. But the lack of communication stating that due to a backlog in parts, and it was just a waiting game, would have been enough. A 30 second phone call every couple of weeks or so to advise a customer that no progress has been made is better than nothing…it would have been enough to have left my guitar there for months longer. The ironic thing about all this is that I really like the store and the people at Palmer Music, so I will most likely continue to purchase my music supplies from them and I hope my experience there was a one-off….
I was looking at electric guitars and they didn’t offer to let me plug any of them in. How are you truly going to know if you like one or not if you can’t hear the sound.
Talked to Joey in the store today. He took some time to help me plan for an upcoming purchase for our church. They have a large selection of all kinds of musical instruments and they do lessons, as well. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Thanks, Joey!
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).

It was exactly what we wanted, the staff was friendly and curious. Food was hot and it was delivered quickly. Enjoyed our visit
Their frappes are awesome!
Good breakfast
they bring your food out to you
Went in for ice cream and guess what? Yep the machine was down. All that remodeling and still no reliable ice cream machine
Coffee warm. Fries & burgers warm.
The Macdonalds in Nashville Arkansas needs to terminate their manager Kathy. She is rude to customers and employees and she is very disrespectful. The only reason I am giving it one star is cause of the employees that work under this disrespectful manager
Burritos werr small. And no mild sauce
Service is always slow
20. Meteor Guitar Gallery
Address: 128 W Central Ave, Bentonville, AR 72712 , Mineral Springs , Arkansas , United States
I went down there to watch three bands play it was fantastic
Was here for the NFT event hosted by BFF, it was AWESOME!! Love the aesthetic, as well as the openness inside.
nice venue !!
Enjoy the venue every event!
Great collection of guitars,, but it’s not really a museum. It’s a performance space built in an old theater. I did not have the pleasure of witnessing a performance, but I tried the sight lines of every seat and was highly impressed.
Canceled concert and never got refund
Worst experience with a music store ever! Lack of knowledge. Limited amount of guitar strings. Just terrible experience first and last time there!
