My boyfriend and I signed up for private guitar lessons with David and we have truly enjoyed every minute of it! We are both VERY beginners (dont know what a difference is between a chord and a string type of beginners), so David was the perfect teacher to help us out. The highlights being:
Super friendly staff !!! Very helpful and reasonable monthly rates. My daughter Isabella is so stoked to be here (: they also worked with my busy schedule definitely recommend hands down (:
Josh is a wonderful teacher for my 9 year old daughter. He is patient and encouraging, is happy to teach according to her interests and level (which right now involves a lot of Taylor Swift), and is really great about engaging her and listening to her, while also moving the lesson forward. She has progressed so much in just six months! Hearing the two of them playing a song together is the highlight of my day. We tried out a few teachers when she was starting guitar and Josh is the best! Highly recommend!
I had a great experience with Steinway piano gallery. They helped me move my piano from ft lauderdale to Bonita springs and even delivered it up 2 flights of stairs! Once it was in its new home they had one of their technicians come out for a tune up and we’ve been making music ever since! I would highly recommend
Great service
Rick Shaw always does an excellent job tuning our piano.
Pricey, but to be expected at a sales showroom. They add delivery as an extra expense as well. Bob is helpful and professional without being too overly pushy. He would be a good “go to” if you are looking for something specific!
Saw this place driving by, stopped in because I’m looking for a new instrument for my home. Walked through the door and greeted by a cranky man who said they weren’t open yet only a soft opening by appointment only even though the doors were unlocked nobody else was in the store and no sign saying appointment only. The lighted sign said open on the door. Wouldn’t even let us walk around because it was a “liability issue” He said there’s not even a sign up because of permitting issues (there’s several piano store signs up) but those aren’t our signs. I was ready to drop CASH on a Steinway. I don’t know if you were in a bad mood or what but if someone comes into your totally customerless store looking to drop over 30k on a piano I wouldn’t turn them away.
Do not do business with Grant Billings. He is extremely unprofessional and has screamed at me on more than one occasion. I recommend going ANYWHERE else outside of this company.
5. Used Piano Center
Address: 10353 Tamiami Trail N #2, Naples, FL 34108 , Naples Park , Florida , United States
Good advice from the team and a great selection of pianos. Bring a little more time to discover the right one for you from the selection.
I recently visited this store expecting to find the Yamaha piano dealer that I bought a piano from years ago (same signage on the building). The salesperson led me to believe that it was the same business but they were remodeling. I found out later it is, in fact, a different company masquerading as Piano Distributors. Very sneaky and dishonest!
I discovered that Piano Distributors moved 5 miles south on 41 to a larger location.
6. Guitar Center
Address: 13585 Tamiami Trail N #8, Naples, FL 34110 , Naples Park , Florida , United States
Don’t need anymore equipment but still love to look around!
I have had 3 guitars serviced at this facility by Bobby in repairs. He rates A+ for his work, knowledge, skills and attitude. I highly recommend him.
I had a Fender acoustic that had playability issues. He tuned it and made it easier to play (with heavier gauge strings no less.)
My Fender Strat had a fretboard that was pretty rough and in need of a good cleaning. In addition, the guitar was flat from the 9th fret up. Bobby adjusted the bridge, cleaned and oiled the neck and tweaked the action. It now plays and sounds fantastic.
My other guitar is a jazz Bradley that I play blues on. Bobby listened and adjusted the guitar to accommodate my music.
I think we are fortunate that this new facility opened in Naples and has such a talented individual available to us for fine tuning and repairing guitars.
The rest of the store is pretty impressive. I haven’t been in the market for new gear but would definitely shop it. They had a good selection of acoustic and electric guitars when I was there as well as some nice amp set ups.
Had a great experience with Mr. Brian! He was so patient, knowledgeable and absolutely fantastic in helping my family with different options for my son. This store is so lucky to have such an amazing person to work here! Highly recommend if anyone comes to this store- ASK FOR BRIAN!!!!!! He will NOT disappoint you
I have to say the staff was much more wanting to help then any other time we have been in the store. I hope they can keep it up.
Very helpful staff. They were able to guide my purchase with expert advice.
Came here for the first time. We were greeted at the door when we first walked in. The place is very organized and clean, mainly because it’s brand new. Inventory was well displayed.
Decided not to trust the other reviews and go check it out for myself. Tried to sell a guitar that they have for sale for over $600. Was literally told by the employee that the other guy made a mistake, this guitar is only worth $400, he knows what he’s looking at.
Got passed around by 3 or 4 guys just to get the most ridiculously lowballed offer I could imagine.
This location brings shame to the guitar center name. They don’t care about musicians. Don’t go here and get a bad taste in your mouth, drive to Fort Myers and get the guitar center experience you deserve!
What a nightmare of an experience. Went to the grand opening event and signed up for lessons in order to get the free guitar. What they didn’t tell me was that the charges would be recurring. After being charged for the 2nd month without my consent I went in to discuss the matter. I was advised that I did sign off on that although they could produce no documentation. After being advised that my money wouldn’t be refunded, I cancelled the “membership”. But since I had already paid for March, I went ahead and scheduled lessons for my son. Well lo and behold he went in today for his 1st March lesson and they advised him that his lessons were cancelled at the end of February. This place is very poorly run. I’ll be headed down there tomorrow and will update.
If i could give no stars i would! The worst customer service ever! Seen they were opening soon in north Naples, i thought great close to my house etc.went in this past Saturday went to ask an employee to look up an item to see if was in stock, right up front not 1 but 2 employees are there talking amongst themselves neither one acknowledged me and walked away literally, i couldnt believe what had happened anyway i went behind the 1 of them ask what i needed and he did but like i was bothering him then he said yes to what i was looking for, so then you would assume he ( chris) would say let me show you but no nothing! I said are you gonna take me to the item, his exact words were well you will be doing the same thing i am. like go find it yourself, long and short of it no way to treat a customer, i will never spend another $ in that location ,i will drive all the way to fort myers where they appreciate your business
7. Christman Music
Address: 2081 J and C Blvd, Naples, FL 34109 , Naples Park , Florida , United States
Great music store with great helpful employees and plenty of instrument gear and products.
It was a good experience they had what we needed
Be advised: if you use a walker or wheelchair, you cannot move about this store easily. The door is difficult to open, the angles are awkward, and the store is crowded. When I initially picked up my child’s instrument, Craig wasn’t there, so I ended up leaving without everything in the case that I was supposed to have. There’s a lovely older woman working there, but she didn’t check the case and it didn’t occur to me that there might have been items missing. If you and your child play the same instrument or same style, you’ll likely not run into this problem, but if you’re a piano person and your child is a clarinet or violin person, you’ll expect to leave with everything you need. Just keep that in mind and be sure to ask if you’re picking up a new instrument for your child and your child isn’t with you.
Friendly, helpful staff. A little tresure-trove of a music shop
Christman Music offers a full range of instrument sales and rentals as well as an extensive variety of accessories, method books, and printed music. Quality repairs are available for wind and brass instruments. Customers seeking major repairs and overhauls are encouraged to communicate their expectations clearly to avoid potential disappointment.
I drove a hour to this store to buy a fender speaker that was clearly sitting right next to the counter but for some reason was told i couldn’t purchase instead they took my number and said they would which they never did…it’s sitting out on the floor price tag and all so i know i was turned away because the color of my skin because i sent my brother in law a hour later and the was ready to rang it up for him
No rating. Christman music stole my money. I knew nothing about microphones and speakers. My husband loves to sing so as a birthday gift from me to him I googled and found Christman music. Rated 5 star. I purchased… what I was told to be blue tooth and could play any music through this speaker. All lies! So sad. I was truly trying to help out the mom and pop business. I should’ve went to Walmart or Best Buy.
I absolutely hated the wait, and the quality of the shop. I most definitely do NOT recommend this to Naples.
