All praise for this store, fast delivery King Tone – The Duellist Od, the best SRV pedals in the world !!!
One of the finest stores in America, with curated inventory and an unparalleled customer experience. Sets the bar very high
Love this shop, check out their online store!
Communication was fantastic. Shipped out so quickly I got whiplash. The ONLY reason they didn’t get 5 stars was that I think they could have used more packing material. My Kingtone Rise was wrapped carefully in a beautiful sheet of waxed paper, with the AIFG logo on it. Very very carefully done, however there was enough room in the box for my pedal to bounce around.
I will absolutely be buying from AIFG again, they carry some hard to find gear, and as I mentioned before, communication was very fast, shipping even faster. I like the way they do business.
Absolute worst people to deal with. Blatant ,dumb responses. Terrible.
Gave me an offer for a guitar body, and waited until I accepted the offer to tell me I would have to pay through venmo. When I said no to that option he bragged about his reviews and tried to start an argument. I apologized for offending him (still don’t know how I did) and wished him well, just feel the communication should be proper.

I’ve had a baritone for several years and love playing it but always had issues with the valves sticking, after only a few hours and extremely reasonable price they got it playing like new. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly as well.
Clarke was very helpful and professional.
Needed to find values for some vintage guitars.
Shop is well stocked.
I brought in my trumpet to be fixed, it took ten minutes and they didn’t charge me anything! They were such nice people.
I haven’t used Guitar Center in 5+ years. Go see the man. This is the best store in town.
Dealing with the owner’s loud mouthed wife was nothing more than a big fat waste of me and my family’s time today.
Obviously from My approach I went and asked if they buy guitars they said Nonchalantly that they wasn’t That enough that they are receiving a big shipment in but they were buying something similar from a white couple this may not be what it look like it was I do not know I just know the website says they buy guitars and they refuse me almost immediately when I came in the door

I looked all over Jacksonville for a product. Sam Ash was fully stocked, they set aside my order until I could arrive to pick it up. The store was clean, neat, and organized. The customer service was impeccable. Great experience!
10/10 experience at this location. Took my guitar in for a set up and Wyatt did a stellar job on it. A true professional at his craft and very knowledgeable in his field. I will be coming back again for his expertise and input.
Sam Ash is a good music store. Worth buying from.
Great store. Much inventory. Salesman was very helpful. Deserves a raise.
Great selection of guitars drums amps accessories…helpful knowledgeable staff
Every time I try to sell something it’s “we’re not doing cash, only in store credit”
Honestly, it was ok. I was a little offended. I placed the money in the employee hand, as observed his actions. He placed 2 dollars and then the receipt on top, and then drop the change in my hand as though he did won’t to touch me! Wow, if I was undercover boss I would have an issue with it. Perhaps, I may share with other Musician.
Terrible customer service
16. Kevin’s Musicians Superstore
Address: 5225 Lenox Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205 , Nassau County , Florida , United States
Really loved my shopping experience. Kevin’s is a local busines with great service. I was greeted immediately a catered to by Shane. He shared with me what he knew and what he didn’t know. Would advise anyone shopping for audio equipment to make Kevin’s your first stop.
Nice place helpful staff
So much stuff in a small space
Bring money lol
After just a single experience, ill gleefully b redirecting my patronage from Guitar Center —> Kevin’s Musicians Superstore.
Worst shopping experience. I felt like I was invisible yet I was the only customer in the store. I expected a small business to be very warm and inviting however I did not get that feeling. Upon walking in I noticed I was the only customer, so I stood there watching four employees talk amongst themselves. Not one of them said hello or asked me if I needed help. When I approached them I asked where drumsticks were and they pointed and said, “over there.” When I finally made my purchase the employee did not say “thank you for coming in”, or “come back and see us”, so I guess I won’t. George’s Music will be my music store from now on.
Nice people. They will give you a good deal.
Good people
Very disappointed in the employees attitude. We are lifelong friends of Kevin that passed away and we felt like we were treated like we weren’t welcome there. We will never go back.Kevin would be very disappointed in the way the “family member”treated us. I just hope that she isn’t that rude with all her customers. Kevin would never treat his customers like she did. Really sad
Really busy place, and they buy used instruments. We went to sell a drum set. The owner said to bring it by the next day at the same time. We did, but he wasn’t there, and to please come back two hours later. So we did. Two hours later, and he still wasn’t there. We waited and his son came. He never looked at our drum set and said it wasn’t worth what his father had said it was
I was really rushed the first time. And I purchased sound system now I am happy with it
17. Howery Violins
Address: Residence of Will Howery, 1325 Marian Dr, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 , Nassau County , Florida , United States
My husband and I feel fortunate to have found Howery Violins. Mr. Howery, himself an accomplished violinist, is not only a talented Luthier, he is very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. He has gone out of his way to help us in our endeavor to repair and care for a very old violin that has been in the family for over 85 years. We highly recommend Howery Violins.
Will is responsive, has great communication skills and is quite skilled. He quickly scheduled an appointment for me and fixed my violin while I waited. I highly recommend his work!
I have brought my violin to Howery Violins on two occasions and have been enormously pleased with the results each time. He is knowledgeable, thorough and very friendly, and his prices are quite reasonable. I feel so fortunate to have found him!
18. George’s Music
Address: 912 3rd St S, Jacksonville, FL 32250 , Nassau County , Florida , United States
Luke did a tune up on my acoustic guitar — improved the action plus new strings. As usual, did a fine job, right on time, and with his always sunny attitude. Go see Luke!
This was a great buying experience. Adam was great to work with. He really knew his facts and the details on all of the guitars I was choosing from. And he is a musician himself, so I felt like I was discussing my preferences with a friend who definitely knew what I was talking about. And, there was never any pressure at any time to buy a specific guitar. By the time I picked the one I liked best, I knew it was the right choice for me. I wouldn’t buy a guitar from anywhere else, and neither should you.
I had a great experience!!! The staff is amazing and friendly… Jerry was very helpful and had my item ready and waiting for me.. this store has everything
I didn’t like how closely the staff followed and monitored everything I did. They scolded me for touching a ukulele I was interested in trying/buying. I ended up walking out without spending a dime.
Love the customer service but look for more gospel or christian activities.
Not enough stock
Will not come back here as long as masks are required.
Went here to get strings and some other things wasnt sure of what I was going to buy but I was fixing to spend about 500 until I got told that I had to have a mask abd the lady said we can do curbside I said no thanks I want to pick it out my self see touch maybe play it but had to take my buisness else where cause they woukdbt let me look without a mask I wint never go back here every
I am usually a fan of George’s music. I shop at the Orlando location often and have bought some high end gear there. I have also shopped at this location (I’m in Jax for work every so often) and bought a beautiful special edition Tele from them less then a year ago and had a great experience doing it. Today I had some time and stopped by. The min I walked though the door I had one of the sales guys instantly trying to come in for a sale. I wasn’t looking for anything particular but have been thinking about possibly buying a new guitar. Anyway, After playing 300 questions with the sales guy while I’m trying to see what they have hanging around I decided I would like to try out a Fender tele ultra they had. The sales guy asks me if I’m interested in buying. I said “I don’t know because I haven’t played this model and would like to see if I’m interested”.. His response was “we are trying to limit the amount of jamming in this store and trying to keep the guitars looking new as possible” and just sat there and stared at me. That frustrated me.. Then I ask if I can pick it up to see the back of the guitar as I go in to pick it up.. He got the point and pretty much took it out of my hand and told me to sit down on a stool and said he was getting a cable for me to plug in. I asked him to play out of a tube amp. He directs me towards a Fender Tone master amp which we all know is Fenders digital recreation of their tube amps. I told him that’s not a tube amp and I identified an actual tube amp and asked to use that one. I get plugged in. I littlery hit one chord and he asks me “what do you think”. I’m not sure I hit like one note.. Then continues to ask a tone of questions while I’m trying to see if I actually like the guitar or not.. Moral of the story. Please train your possibly new sales people to give the customer some breathing room. Don’t tell them they can’t try a guitar because “We are trying to keep the guitars looking new as possible”.. The manager did come over and talk to me when he finally left and I had a pleasant conversation with her. She was great. But the sales kid is definitely scaring off potential sales and was incredibly annoying. This isn’t a museum.. It’s a guitar shop where people should be encouraged to try the guitars. If we all just wanted to look and buy guitars without trying them we will just order online. Which is the downfall for the brick and mortar shops…
