Have alot of items an the prices are reasonable:) LOVE IT
Im happy to have this place in town, and near my house. I was excited to see it get built. Once they put the double signs up for dollar tree and family dollar I was like OOOOhhhh dang! So Im expecting at the time that it would be like a half and half store, right? One part Family Dollar, one part dollar store. It. Is. Not. Now I might have been weirdly naive to think otherwise, but the whole thing is just a mish mash of both stores. Thats my only complaint. The place is clean (duh, its new), the employees are polite, and the prices are expected. I just wish it was organized.
You get what you pay for. Good for the little things and quick stop in New Plymouth.
Freindly staff and very helpful
An hour wait says it opens at 8am and it’s 9 wow
I just was in family dollar in new plymouth on Friday at about 6:10pm 2 managers were talking about an employee in front of customers saying she has been informed and saying how they are going to write the employee up or give them a warning very very unprofessional
I watched a manager treat customers in an unprofessional manner. She was rude and very aggressive. Sad that managers are acting this way just because they have some authority.
It was amazing, great customer service. Great line of products I picked me up a Taylor acoustic guitar and I love it. I will be going here from now on for all my musical needs. I’ll be going back Monday or Tuesday to pick up some strings for my electric guitar.
I felt like my flute needed fixing, so the guy in the back looked at it, played a few notes and told me that he felt like it was fine. I appreciated the free advice and non judgmental vibes.
Very helpful and friendly service.
Great staff and good selection. Nuff said.
Great customer service
Pricey
These guys are pretty bad about looking down on you if you aren’t rich. It is convenient having guitar strings to buy right there in ontario, but every time I go in and try to get something for my guitars they try to shame me for having guitars that don’t cost five grand
I went to them to get an old drum set i had repaired and workable. I told them i knew very little about drums, and how they function, but are low income, so cant aford a new set and need to make do with fixing what i have. They were only interested in selling me new single components in stead of parts to fix mine. I have bought a few things, but was really disappointed that they cannot or will not help me get the replacement parts i need. I also felt they looked down on me for not being able to afford a brand new set. Will only go back if i cant find anything some other way.

Really friendly and knowledgeable folks. I’ve done business with them in the past and have always been happy with the results.
There are lots of quality guitars in this store and the staff has been great thus far.
I Visited Here to buy a new Percussion Book, and the service was amazing. Everybody was nice, it was clean, and had an amazing atmosphere. 10/10.
Lots of instruments to choose from.
Everyone was nice and helpful
One of my favorite places to go and Shop! I would have gotten 5 stars but my two favorite people weren’t there LOL
Wasn’t helped for the longest time and when someone finally assisted me they acted as if my insignificance was burdening their life. Ended up leaving to take my business somewhere it’d be appreciated.
Ok
So disappointed. I’ll admit I came in expecting to be helped and I didnt hide that I didnt know the difference between a high end guitar or a cheap one. He seemed to be helpful and let my son try different guitars to size them to my son. He did seem a little off the whole time like he was a little humored I didnt know my guitars. He knew the price range we wanted to spend. He ended up bringing us a guitar with no price tag on it “This is the only one without a tag”. My son loved this one so I asked him the price. It happened to be exactly what our budget was. When he was out of the room we took a picture of the model number. When we left we did research. He was trying to sell us a $180 guitar for $300. And was trying to take advantage that we were trusting his “help” for a newbie. Talked to my musical friend they said they are notorious for that and they are crooks. So disappointed in that level of dishonesty. I thought it was weird this guitar was missing its price tag.

Thank you so much Sarah! I am a new homeschooling mom looking for ways for my littles to interact with the world to learn as much as possible. We had a lesson on sound and vibrations. I was able to schedule a fun little tour with Sarah who was gracious enough to show my little girl around and introduced her to all of the music families. She even got to try a couple! I would absolutely recommend this music store to anyone who wants their kiddos to learn and grow in music. I appreciate you Dunkley. Music
Oh my goodness! Nate & Austin were such fabulous piano movers! Not only were they dressed professionally but they moved a 7 ft grand piano from house #1 to house #2 AND then a 4 ft grand from house #2 to house #3 ~ handling each piano with tender loving care & extending great patience & great professional help on where to place each piano. They were both personable and kind and worked very hard in doing a fabulous job. (I joked that after all that lifting, chiropractic care & massage therapy should be included their medical insurance! ) I highly recommend Dunkley Musuc for moving pianos!
Point blank – The Treasure Valley is fortunate to have a technician at Lisa’s caliber. Not only is Lisa fully trained, experienced, & Straubinger certified, she is conscientious & professional. As a flautist, I perform in a number of ensembles & Lisa has always serviced my instruments in the quickest time possible. Thank you, Lisa!
I have bought a Kawai CN25 from Marion in a total of sale price of 600 plus 13 month renting period. Ends up with about 1645 U.S dollar. I am really happy with what I’ve purchased. And Marion is very nice on settling the deals with me.
Nice location. For service, I prefer the Nampa store.
Back when Dunkley’s was in-town in Boise, I was an avid customer…they always have been professional and friendly all-in-one! They still are.
All of my musical equipment, specifically my violin and flute for school orchestra/band, came from here. And I am impressed with it nowadays!
GOOO Dunkley Music!!!
The worst customer service wish I could give a 0.
The Nampa location is great. Helpful, knowledgeable, experienced. I brought in a violin i bought, and wanted it checked out. So it was sent to their luthier, a fella called “Rand”. This dude needs social interaction lessons. What a rude, short tempered jackal. If you like being talked to in a demeaning and belittling way, have your string instrument looked at by “Rand”. If you like normal, socially accepted treatment, avoid Dunkley or, more precisely, Rand.
Staff have very poor customer service skills, their attitude was down right rude. My issue was not resolved- despite being a customer for 8 years. It seems loyalty no longer matters to Mark Dunkley.
Best wishes to you.
