So many albums to choose from. Was very satisfied. I spent some good money on some good albums.
If an album was ever released, I think you could find it here. Owner is super knowledgeable and approachable. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the CD I was looking for due to the store reorganizing but I would put money on them having it
Patrick is awesome and extremely knowledgeable about all genres of music
Great selection. Prices seem to run higher than other record shops and online but maybe for haggling purposes. Wish him success but kind of out of the way of anything
Fair
Hoarder type store…lots of stuff you can’t even access. Owner qas a bit surley. Top end pricing.
Writing this review does not bring me any pleasure as I have previously had a good experience shopping here at Patrick’s. However, the latest experience left me feeling like my relationship with this store had been violated and cheated.
I have spent hundreds of dollars in this store restoring my vinyl collection. I have always had a pleasant time shopping and chatting with the owner. In March, my husband wanted to replace my turntable so I suggested we shopped here first naturally. On this day I had in tow my husband and my parents.
Initially Patrick directed me towards some fairly beat up turn tables that had major wear on them, cracked or missing dust covers, and missing knobs. He went over the various vintage brands with us and was prime in its day. These were on the wall shelf he claimed to have personally vetted its operation. He did have some beautiful Kenwoods near the register that he had yet to test. He told me that if it did not work, I could return in within 2 weeks of purchase. Trusting his word, we took it home after paying 150 for the turntable and a receiver. He was kind enough to throw in some beat up RadioShack speakers he was desperately trying to get out of his store.
That night we tested the table. My husband, and my parents (who are well seasoned vinyl listeners) could not get it to work. There wasn’t a belt drive, so we determined the motor was burned out. That morning we went out and bought an Audiotechnia from Best Buy for the same price we paid for this over priced paperweight. My husband called Patrick’s, and the owner said it was fine to bring it back. So we did.
Upon arriving back to the store, everything seemed fine. Patrick was amiable to a refund. He left to the ATM. When he returned his attitude changed. He told my husband he would take the receiver back gladly, but refused to take the turntable. His ludicrous reasoning? He suggested we had swapped out the needle on the table. Making the return of goods void. We did no such thing. When I asked him if he was suggesting I was being dishonest, he would not say that I was. Only that he was certain it was not the same needle. Which is most certainly was. The very same needle. His only suggestion was to take him to small claims court. What was a good relationship quickly soured. No matter how much rapport I had build and vice versa. He was ready to burn that bridge than make good on his return policy.
I would have never have purchased the turn table if I knew I would have a paperweight collecting dust in my garage. I suppose I can find a reputable business to fix it and sell it to recoup my loss. Beware of doing business here. Double check records for scratches. I do not recommend buying any equipment here. You’re better off at a pawn shop or buying new. I wish you the best and I hope you read this and decided to have a more honest business practice and relationship with your customers in the future.
Awful service what kind of business won’t even answer the phone for a customer to at least ask a simple question this place won’t receive my business sense it can’t even answer there phone

My daughter looks forward to being a part of Rock Week every summer. This past RW was her 3rd year and she is already looking forward to the next one. She keeps the rocking going at Rock Studio every summer as well. As far as we are concerned the two go hand-in-hand. Thank you Mullins Music for the amazing experience every year. Thank you for the confidence you have encouraged in my daughter. We are moving out of the area this school year, but we will definitely be coming back for RW and RS next summer! Mullins Music ROCKS!!
Great people, and even better music lessons, and recording!!!
Rock Week X was a great experience for my 13 year old. Two years ago he attended a similar Rock camp at different local music center and I would rate the Mullins Music camp as a superior experience for several reasons. First, there was a high ratio of teachers and interns to students. There was an adult instructor for each band that was formed at the camp. Next, I found the program to be very well organized. Mullins Music has been doing this camp for ten years now and it shows. Eric Mullins is personally involved the entire week. In addition, along with musical technique, both music theory and rock history are taught. Finally, the environment was welcoming and enjoyable for even a slightly shy teenager. The final concert was on a big stage with stage lighting, fog machines and an outstanding sound system. Highly recommend – Five stars. It is no wonder there are so many repeat students – I wish I had found them sooner.
Music is always amazing, and the products they have looks better in person. The material of the shirts and hoodies are soft. Definitely recommend buying and listening to their stuff.
Great Company work for them designing applications and they are a great team and design quality games and music etc…
dope tune

David wants nothing but the best and he is hard working and brought a lot of that out of me while working on my first song with him. His production skills are amazing he won’t let you down and he’s a great friend as well.
I have recorded 2 EP’s and a Full Length record here. Dave has a great ear for producing and recording and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. This is a full service studio that will produce amazing results for a great price!
Liked the cheese fries

A big thank you to Rob and Frank for upgrading my bass. They did such an amazing job, I’m having a hard time putting it down. If you need guitar work done and you’re wary of the big box stores, these are the luthiers you want.
Great people ~ Great guitar builder ~ Great set ups ! GREAT !
Frank has refretted all of these for me with stainless steel frets and they all have come back perfect! Frank is talented and a good man. I highly recommend him!
Great customer service

Best music store in town. Bill is exactly what your looking for, lessons, buying, selling. Don’t forget dean dealer. They have a new location 8123 Ridge Rd Port Richey, FL
34668. Go see them right now!
Bill is a great guy known for years his prices are great and he goes out of his way to help.always greets you with a smile! Thanks buddy!
The gentleman that runs this store is very helpful and courteous. I am very happy with my visit here and I was very happy with his prices.
The previous owner Bill treated his customers like family until he sold his shop to a bunch of crooks, I needed the new owner Kenny to put new strings on my guitar and he could not even do that right because my strings broke one after the other and when I asked him to restring the guitar he ordered that I’d have to pay him for the strings again and re-installation and when I asked for a refund he said “Absolutely not, because this would’ve never happened with any of my other customers” I asked “why are you doing this?” And he replied “what are you going to do about it?”

I take fiddle lessons here. The people are wonderful and extremely helpful. And I of just been hanging out at times and just seeing how they interact with customers and they’re just a bunch of nice people
More of a place for music lessons than a music shop, but does include a variety of guitar equipment although a bit pricey. The cashier wasn’t too personable, however a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman (could have been an instructor or owner) helped me choose the best pick for my guitar.
Edit: Owner offers whole string change for free. 1 star to 3 stars.
They charged me 5 DOLLARS for one guitar string change. My E string broke and they previously replaced it for free so I bought a pick holder for my guitar. So I came back, and thought I might buy some picks or something if they did it for free or for cheap again, but then the guy at the counter says it would cost 5 whole dollars, 2 for the string, 3 for tuning and setup. The tuning and setup took 30 seconds.
Go somewhere else for string changes or learn it yourself. That’s what I’ll be doing.
Great Instructors. No pressure, ample space and knowledgeable staff! Great place for lessons!
My daughter joined the band at River Ridge and this was the store that they recommended to purchase her instrument I did purchase her instrument over a three-year time. Making my monthly payments and then four years later I come back after it’s paid off try to return it or sell it back to the music store we purchased it from so that another student could potentially use this instrument and learn how to play it. The owner of the store says he does not buy instruments back. So now this will just sit in my closet for years to come. Thanks for passing on the knowledge to other children. I guess Music doesn’t matter!
Selling must be a casual hobby, must be trust fund babies . no keyboards , poor service ! Then don’t advertise that you have them.
I signed up for a “free” music lesson last week. I was told the instrument would be provided for me and all I needed to do was provide a deposit and make an appointment. The first gentleman, who helped me was a bit rude. He told me the deposit was $27, the second gentlemen who cashed me out only asked for $10 deposit.
Upon arrival on the date of appointment there seemed to be a lot of confusion about times and appointments between the instructors and other students. I stood there for few minutes before anyone greeted me.
Finally, one of the instructors very aggressively asked “What do you need help with?” I told him I had a 3:30 appointment for lessons and he explained that I needed an instrument or I needed to sign up for the instrument rental program. That was completely different story than what I was told when I signed up for the lesson!
Something fishy is going on here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional experience.

Friendly owner. Not too badly priced. I use to get my Trumpet mouthpieces through here. Diversity of musical merchandise.
Bill was great restringing and tuning my Dad’s acoustic guitar.
Bill also helped us out when we needed it most, with jump starting our car battery and suggesting where we can get it replaced. Thank you Bill!
