Buddy is blind, but don’t let that fool you. He’s a gifted man and terrific at tuning pianos along with his assistant and piano mechanic.They replaced the middle c key on the piano. Bringing him to repair my wife’s piano gave her lots of joy so I can watch and listen to my wife playing music on her piano again. I recommend Buddy Gray to repair and tune your piano.

Absolutely terrible. Do not hire this man for anything. If I could give negative stars I would. He thinks that because he’s disabled that he can talk to people anyway he pleases. Charges way too much to tune a piano and the people that work for him have no training. I’d know I was one of them. He doesn’t think anyone else knows what they’re talking about. Just stay as far away from this man as possible if you can.
I paid $175 to have my piano tuned. After the tuner left, I discovered that my piano was tuned down one whole tone from standard A 440 tuning. They explained nothing to me about this before I confirmed that I wanted the piano tuned and made an agreement with them. Upon calling Mr. Gray, I was told that they couldn’t tune the piano up fully because the strings could break, and that I needed to have ANOTHER tuning done. He offered to knock off $25 from the fee next time, which is irrelevant to me since I will never hire them again. Do not recommend.

Our daughter has been studying at the Northport Music Institute for six years and we are extremely impressed by the way her musical skills have developed. It is quite amazing to see the little girl who was not familiar with the piano keys now rattle her fingers across the keyboard as she prepares for a musical showcase. She does not only play the piano well – her flute skills are also remarkable. Mr. Fonbah is doing quite an excellent job teaching her.

This was my second time coming to the Guitar Gallery. My son started guitar lessons at his school and we first came here for a string replacement on his toy First Act guitar. They were great. Installed it in minutes and tuned it as well. I am not musically inclined at all so this was really nice of them. We checked out their selection and asked about what kind of acoustic guitar they’d recommend for my son. They showed us a Fender that to me seemed fairly priced.
Two weeks later, I decided it was time to go ahead and get the real guitar because my son seems to love it. We went and Connor helped us (he helped us the first time also). He was great. Let my son try out the same guitar with nylon strings and metal strings. Tuned it all up and got us the bag it came in. Scott was helping us too and was treating my son so nicely, like an actual human instead of a baby. It was fun to watch him conversation with my son and even show him a few things.
We are now forever customers of theirs and will recommend to anyone in need of a guitar or service. Thank you Connor and Scott for the excellent service.

If you’re having any kind of issue with your guitar….electronics or adjustments, just ask for Jeff. He’s the best technician and repairman I know. He’s stays on the job until it’s done right. Reasonable rates too!!!
