My experience was amazing, I had to take a minute and breath. This place has a large variety of guitars, pedals and anything else you may like/need to make your shopping experience complete. I woke up the next day wanting to go back anyways stop by and enjoy this amazing place….Guitars every where
Awesome store huge selection
Cool shop with a decent selection (as long as ukes, mandolins, and guitars are what you are looking for!) I was seriously in danger of walking out with (yet another) resonator guitar. And I’m not sure that danger has completely disappeared…
The prices are good for some things, a little marked up for others. But nice layout, selection, and service, and it feels good to support a smaller, local business.
Joe is helpful. The staff can get busy. But they are friendly. They will give you attention when They get freed up. This is my go to place for guitars and accessories
USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN PURCHASING A GUITAR OR ANYTHING FROM GUTIAR HEAVEN!!!!! a “JOHN LENNON REVOLUTION CASINO #338 OF 1965 WAS SOLD TO ME IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,459.40 PLUS TAX.
THEY TOLD ME IT WAS COMPLETELY ORGINAL AND I HAVE E-MAIL CORRESPONDENCE TO PROVE THIS!
COME TO FIND OUT AFTER SEEING OTHERS FOR SALE, THE CASE THEY INCLUDED WITH MINE WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL CASE FOR THE GUITAR! IT DID NOT HAVE JOHN LENNONS ART WORK ON THE CASE!
I FEEL SO CHEATED AND ROBBED!! CONFRONTING THEM ABOUT IT THEY SAID “SORRY WE CAN’T HELP YOU”!!
I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU USE CAUTION WHEN BUYING SOMETHING THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE “IN ORIGINAL USED CONDITION”. ACTUALLY I WOULD ATTEMPT TO FIND THE PRODUCT ELSEWHERE AND FROM A ****REPUTABLE DEALER****!!!!!
Bought the Dean Soltero honey flame burst from there. Half off of 800.00 so I should’ve known there had to be a flaw in it. I was so stoked that they fed off of that knowing I’d most likely buy that guitar, I assumed they just wanted to get rid of that older model. Took it home and noticed a buzz towards the 12th fret and on and on both 6 , 5, 4, and 3 strings. Raised the saddle and bridge a bit but still a buzz. Took it back a day after the 3 day return policy because it was my only day off that week. and the owner proceeded to tell me it was a environment thing that the change in temperature made the neck bend. He adjusted the neck but still to no avail. He went on and on as if To tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about and insisted it was the weathers fault. Still spent close to an hour trying to adjust the truss rod but still did not remedy the buzz. Then he kept telling me I play too hard on the strings and that he couldn’t hear nor feel a buzz, almost to the point where he was almost implying that I was stupid. I kinda alluded to exchanging the guitar but he insisted it was me. Needless to say I loved the guitar and had hoped it can be fixed. Now I moved a good 10 hours away from SLO and I’m stuck with a guitar that buzzes no matter what I do. Nice selection of guitars though. Curse this shop if I can’t get this buzz out and end up having to take it to a professional. Buyers beware.
I went in to look at guitars with my son, I saw the store online and really was looking forward to seeing some cool guitars. The woman approached me right away and was super rude, saying we couldn’t try any guitars unless we were going to buy something. Then we went to look at acoustic guitars and the guy was just following us, he didn’t even care to help us out or ask if we had any questions. I was looking to purchase a nice Martin, but not from there not ever. Super rude!!!! I have a lot of friends who were looking to check this place out as well. I will let them know about my experience too. They would have gotten some great business but they missed out. I would have given their store 0 stars but had to give them one.
One of my favorite things to do is visit little vinyl shops in the different cities I travel to. Cool if I find something but just as cool if I don’t. I just love the ambience and mood of such places and this one had it all! Excellent customer service. Excellent selection. Great vibe and display of local art and killer tunes playing over thy speakers. I bright my kids and grandson with me. We all loved it and walked out with something! Great shop… I recommend anyone to stop by!
Great little record store with lots of 7 inches at fair prices. Really good customer service as well.
Over priced, bad customer service. Don’t come here!!!! I wouldn’t give it a one star, I just had to choose in order to write a review.
I first saw Ryan perform at a winery and was immediately impressed with his talent and musical style. I asked for his card, and soon after, hired him to perform at my rehearsal dinner and wedding welcome party. He played so many amazing songs – from oldies and recent hits – that we all knew and could dance to, and all of our guests were so impressed with his range of song genres – we didn’t want him to leave! He is reliable and super easy to work with, and I hope to enjoy his performances more in the future!
We were looking for the perfect music for our son and daughter-in-law’s pre-wedding celebration. After hearing Ryan play at a local Happy Hour, we got his contact info and he responded very quickly. Not only is Ryan a very talented musician, he takes the time to learn about his audience, their preferences and weaves in his own amazing style into the experience. We thought about hiring a D.J., but our decision to have Ryan instead, was the excellent choice.

Nice little local coffee spot. Jack and his employees are super nice and knowledgeable and will talk to you and care about what’s going on. My mom was about to have surgery and we came in one day, both Jack and his employees remembered and asked how she was doing when I came in a week later. Coffee is great and roasted in house, I made sure to buy a bag before I left for home in Sacramento. It will be one of my must-visit spots when I’m back in town.
Great coffee spot!! It was our first time in. Loved the laidback locals vibe. You can tell quality coffee is a strong focus of theirs. We had a few pastries along with coffee’s and both were very good. Loved this spot and will be back again.
Great coffee and wonderful staff!! Was a little surprised at straws made of actual Straw. But I understand they are trying to be more eco-friendly.
The coffee was really good and the staff was nice! I’d definitely go back! The only reason for the four star was the large cups are not very big and I’d like more options / specialty drinks. I’d still definitely recommend you try it!
The pour overs are outstanding. Nice flavor.
Good coffee, high prices, terrible interior.
Normally amazing drinks and service, unfortunately the young tall blonde barista made the drinks with normal milk, not oat milk, then on the remake the large drink became a medium and the “room temperature” kids steamer (which was absolutely clarified) burnt our sons lips (thankfully wasn’t too bad), he had to wait a full 15 minutes with the lid off just to drink it, not great for a four year old. I am sure they will get it right next time, it is a good coffee shop.
what they show you you are getting vs what you are actually getting….
Coffee was not very good and highly priced would not go back

I drive 80 miles to get there cause they are great
The best music shop in town
Great
Hard to find, but they have what you
need or they can find it
Friendly staff, good selection of instruments.
Good music store, good instrument’s, but not much parking, and the location doesn’t really give the business the store front draw!
Dan Ernst Owner of grand central music is a Scum Bag with a Capital S.
Bought a roland jx10 from him in feb 2013 said he had it professionally cleaned cause one of the keys did not respond.( shoulda took that as a sighn right there that this would go south.)
Got the roland a week later patch buttons did not work cardtridge port was busted cause he shipped the cardtridge inside of the synth and the internal battery was dead.
Talk to him about going to repair man he got upset and said his repair man pro clean it and made sure it was in running order.
Took it to repair man costed 166.00 he begrudglingly said fine send him receipt.
So rapair man did two weeks go by no response.
The owner is a bs’er and a finagler.
Do not support.
Do not trust.
Eventually we will cross paths Dan.
Thats not a threat.
Thats a promise.
I ordered the bass a year ago in this shop! But so far, they can not send me a bass and do not return the money! What are the problems? I do not know! And nothing intelligible do not meet!
