The best music school in all of Orlando and I think we have tried them all. Two of my kids and my husband take Piano and Guitar lessons with Elite Music Instruction. Very professional teachers.

This is a new store for a couple of months now there are some very rude employees that work at this location if you do not like your job then do not work there you chose to work at family Dollar that doesn’t mean you get to treat employees like garbage. The reason for this review is I have come up here several times now in the store is closed due to some outlandish reasons today December 6th I come up here there’s a sign on the door that says closed due to plumbing. I would like to know what plumbing has to do with people shopping? This place is ridiculous
I love this store, it’s my favorite local book shop! It’s well organized, clean, cute and has a good selection. I also love that they post books for sale on their Instagram now, which they’ll put on hold for you until you’re able to come pick them up. The staff are all very friendly and their trade in program is great! Highly recommend!

I brought in enough books to where I was told I had $40 store credit I picked out seven paperbacks which was nowhere near that much and then they told me I needed to pay $15 because they’re not a thrift store and they’ve got taxes to pay…. I turned in $40 worth of books and I ended up walking out the door with three books and still had to pay $5. Not very impressed… The ladies were very nice but something just didn’t add up and I feel like I got screwed
Place is dirty and inventory is not well organized. If it was cleaner and the owner more personable, maybe it wouldn’t be closing.
I wanted to go in but I walked up and saw no one wearing face masks inside. Given it’s the pandemic I did not feel comfortable nor safe and left.

Amazing prices! The associates don’t seem as driven to sell like they are in normal Best Buy stores. Perhaps they are not given any sales goals? Either way, it is definitely worth checking out, as their prices are discounted very deeply for defects that are often very minor.

The manager’s name there is Dave. Multiple times I’ve seen him go against best practice while in that store. While my father was in town, we stopped to buy him some new headphones because his old ones had expired on him. When we got into the store he was picking out headphones that he might like. We came across a pair of headphones that were marked as 34.99 (or around that). My dad says “That’s not too bad. I’ll take two pairs of those since they’re not that expensive.” The Best Buy employee comes over and realizes that they were marked wrong & says “Unfortunately these are marked wrong, but best practice is for us to give you this item for the price it’s displayed under. Let me just clear it with my manager first.” He comes back with the manager, Dave. Dave then begins to try his absolute best to tell us why it’s wrong and he’s not giving it to us for that price. He then proceeds to tell us that the price right next it under another pair of headphones definitely represents the pair above it, but not the price right underneath the pair we wanted. Once he sees us ask the security desk for the number to corporate, we watch him quietly instruct the nice young man who helped us, to remove the label that displayed the wrong price. The sad part is that I had seen Dave do that to a couple about two months prior while I was in there buying a movie! Dave should manage his team better & be sure to have his items checked, instead of trying to talk down to customers. Someone needs to educate Dave on how to efficiently run a retail store.
I went to Ocoee Best Buy on 02/17/19 to purchase a Samsung RCA cable to connect a component. The salesman told me that they didn’t have the Samsung RCA cable but they has an Optical cable and an aftermarket RCA cable they might fit my TV. I was sure so I purchased both the Optical Audio Cable and RCA cable. Upon getting home I saw that my TV was equipped with an Optical Audio input so I only needed the Optical Audio cable and not the RCA cable. I went back to the Ocoee Best Buy store to return the RCA cable and the Store Manage named Mark told me that I was not allowed to return the item because I had too many returns within a certain period. I explained to him that I only returned two 4K TV’s within a year. One of the TV’s had a broken screen when I took it out of the box (The TV was already broken before I took it from the store and Best Buy sold it to me anyway, horrible service). So I got another TV and that TV did not show like the one on display when I took it back one of the managers told me that the representative should explained to you that the 4K feature doesn’t work on cable but only on movies or NetFlix or Spectrum App. Now Best Buy will not allow me to return a $12.99 item. Everyone should know by now that stock is down and they are closing stores to stay afloat. Best Buy should be happy that I walked through the door. Tell me why if I can’t return an item, then why do they allow me to purchase an item? What crappie service. I will resolve this matter Better Business Bureaus, and Consumer Service.

Excellent work done! Chris is great to talk shop with, his prices are unmatched, and his work second to none!!! Unlike many music store repair shops that send it out in batches, work is done on-site and very prompt. Fixed a seized rotary with ease, lapped a slide perfectly, and bathed my tuba in no time. Before him it would take a shop weeks to get my instrument and the work would be average at best, with no close communication or care that Chris gives. Drove 3 hours just to have him do the work I needed because he is the best! Couldn’t be more pleased!!!

Cute little place, feta pie was delicious and the host was warm and friendly.
Also picked up some cute handmade nicknacks they had for sale.
We had a spectacular experience here. The food was phenomenal, the fresh squeezed juice was out of this world and the owner is a gem of a person who made our experience wonderful. I highly recommend the ham pesto caprese sandwich!!!
Awesome coffee, delicious Brazilian sweets. Good assorted menu.

These guys Andy Anderson and Adrian Bauza at VRS Studios are changing my career man. Moved out to Florida to take a big step in my artistry as an artist and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. Top tier knowledge and equipment and the man cares about the work. Can’t ask for much better than that. If I could put more than 5 stars I would.
Andy at VRS Studios is an excellent engineer. He is patient and thoroughly detail-oriented. He is eager to go the extra mile to get the sound and feel of a record just right, and he has even taken on a producer role on some of my records. I’ve worked with Andy many times for recording and mixing and I will continue to. He’s great to work with, affordable, and the quality speaks for itself. 10/10 would recommend.

**UPDATE** I received a PROMPT call regarding this situation from Tatiana who runs Garden Music School. She was very quick to apologize for the situation and was happy to refund the charges. As I stated in the first review, Tatiana has been nothing but awesome to work with! I am leaving the initial review of the teacher, but want to let everyone know they are very customer service oriented. Also, be aware that they will charge monthly because it is NOT a monthly service, it is a yearly service that they charge for each month. It is slightly confusing that they advertise as monthly prepaid lessons with no contract. However, benefit of the doubt is I may have misunderstood this. I would recommend Garden Music as long as you speak to/sit in with your student for a lesson or two, to ensure the teacher/student are a good fit for each other.

We just moved to Florida and we’re looking to pick up drum lessons again after a year long hiatus. We signed up for lessons with Marcus. After the first 30 minute session he spoke to me about my son as if he was a delinquent who wasn’t practicing drums and took it as a personal affront to himself. We came back even though my son said he didn’t like him (should have known then). After the second 30 minute lesson Marcus came outside and proceeded to yell (and I do mean YELL) at my son and launched into a bitter diatribe about how my son is sour, is undisciplined, unmotivated, not college bound (odd???) and that he was going to drive away the people in his life (what??). I sat in disbelief listening to a 21 year old utterly tear down a 14 year old (with a learning disability) and could not believe he was still employed as I highly doubt this was the first time he has displayed such behavior. My son was in tears the whole way home (40 minute drive). I felt horrible for my son and have never witnessed a teacher behave this way. My son wants to play for enjoyment, not for a career. As a teacher myself I know the key to creating motivation is a mix of encouragement and critique. However, this approach and the personal offense Marcus took to my son (who is still learning) and his music ability was appalling and we will not be returning. I’m sure the owner (who is very kind) and the other teachers are great but I would not recommend this teacher! **UPDATE** I was charged for lessons for another month, which I did not authorize! Despite being told there is no contract and lessons are paid monthly…I was charged for lessons I did not request! Do not give this place your credit card information.
Had my acoustic guitar worked on, everything was fixed but they didn’t call me to let me know that it was done. I had to call them just for them to tell me they are closing two hours early because they were so slow that day, so I had to rush over so my guitar doesn’t sit there for no reason when I could of already picked it up way earlier. Plus the price for the guitar maintenence was to pricey for what I had done to it. Like if it was so slow why didn’t they have time to let me know that it’s done.
Used to love taking my kids here. We were customers for five years. The place has a true passion for music.
However, as others have said, the business operations are unacceptable for us. Their billing execution created much grief for us. In my opinion, they lack the customer service skills to recover from poor business practices.
Case in point, I’m a five year customer with no outlet except to leave a review. I thought it was just me until I heard others at the front desk with similar issues and reading reviews here.

Horrible customer service! Staff talks down to people not knowing how much knowledge the customer may have. I tried to get my son’s instrument fixed and was told 2 different things by 2 different employees. I will never recommend this store to anyone in the future
