Went in the glass blowing shop and couldn’t leave. So many different glass and colors, shapes,. They are beautiful!! The guy there was so nice and showed us around. We enjoyed it so much!!!
I love Musicians Warehouse! Huge guitar selection, great prices, locally owned and right in the heart of Athens!
I’ve been a customer of Musician’s Warehouse since I owned the High Hat Music Club back in the 90’s and the owner, Ed MaGruder has always been a superstar. If he doesn’t have what your looking for, he can find it. And, if he can’t find it, you don’t need it.
Support Local and go see Ed.
Musician’s Warehouse is a GREAT place to shop for musical instruments & related items – Ed (& team) WANT return business – they go above & beyond to deliver to their customers – we recently (on-line) purchased a used Takamine Electric/Acoustic guitar from MW – they delivered with an affordable price / excellent packing & super-fast shipping – 11 out of 10 . . . Thanks Ed!
Could be a little more organized. Drum area needs more open space. And more displayed of items. Seems pretty congested.
Pretty good shop if you are in Athens. Much better selection of gear than their competitors in the area.
Very nice store but not a great variety of guitars
Poor selection. If you like grandpa guitars this is the place. Wouldnt recomend to any modern guitar players.
Dude I’m not sure what happened. The first floor is desolate (empty for everybody that’s currently reading this while dunk). I understand social distancing, but I’m I am attending Warehouse, I do not care about the current situation, I’m here to rave. Open the first floor for a mosh pit.
Really wanted to like this company. I was cheated and conned, and after a week with zero communication I contacted them. They fumbled around for another day or two then stated they couldn’t find the item. I was left empty handed and confused. No attempt at finding the item or ordering another. Nothing. Zip. C’mon guys!

Got a guitar setup done there and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!
Thank you Stan! Guitar looks great sounds great!
Very nice music store I bought a used Peavey acoustic guitar, I love it! The sound is amazing.
Slightly above average. If Stan’s there, he’s a wonderful storyteller, and man in general. If he’s out and one of his employees is minding the shop, come back another time
Good selection of guitars and accessories. Keyboards – not so much (there were literally 2 on the floor and not the best quality). Should be called “Stan’s Guitar World.”
Even though I was actually looking for a keyboard, guitar prices were decent and I might have bought one if anyone had tried to help me.
I really wanted to ask about equipment rentals as well since I was only in town for a short while, but again, service wasn’t part of the display.
The staff member at the register was so preoccupied in conversation with another customer that I wasn’t even greeted when I came in, and he didn’t even bother with a “come again soon” when I left angry after about 10min of looking around and waiting.
This is the reason people skip over local small businesses to shop at national chains – like that “other” guitar store
If Stan is not there, dont bother. Just go home.

The owner has always been very kind. He does quick and efficient work on any marching band instrument.
Small place with great service
Repaired daughter’s “starter” clarinet for us. Was fast, efficient, and thorough. When asked about getting her a more permanent instrument he was knowledgeable and personable. Did not try to over sell or push any big ticket items. Asked what her, amd our, goals are and then made recommendations based upon that information.

Bought my first ukulele today.
They were patient with me.
I bought a fender ukulele.
Thw sound is great and I am excited about learning to play it.
Husband loves this place
They didn’t have what I was looking for. But it. Looked like a great guitar store!
Knowledgeable staff, great inventory. One may play instruments with staff assistance in order the try out the items.
Good selection/variety of gear. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable.
I never write reviews but I wanted to warn anyone who was considering getting their guitar worked on in athens. I took my acoustic in a month ago to get the action lowered a little bit. I was told that it would take a day or so. I picked it up after a month. I now have an unplayable guitar with a broken tuner after not playing for a month. I understand that accidents happen but this was all handled in an extremely unprofessional manner. He never communicated with me as to what was really going on and I had to basically track him down to figure out what was going on. There’s just no excuse for how this played out.
The Staff was great at the front. I forgot his name, but one guy really took the time to explain guitars to us. However, the guitar repair was another story. It was terrible service with the repair person! It took weeks to get him to do anything. I kept calling and nothing had been done on it over the course of about 3 weeks. I finally went and picked it up to take it somewhere else.
We bought what was supposed to be a brand new electronic drum kit for Christmas morning. Our son opens the box, which had no signs of having been previously opened, only to find it had already been opened and apparently returned to the store, who failed to check it. Missing parts, used drums. There are no words to describe what that was like. Merry Christmas. I had a bad feeling from the time we walked in. Had a somewhat attentive sales associate, that is until another customer came in and the two of them spent 20 minutes discussing a band, while we literally stood by still waiting on that associate to complete our purchase. Won’t ever do business there again.

Dylan is a local luthier who does excellent work on guitars. He has done setups on a couple of my acoustic guitars and they play great. His new digs are a bit hard to find but worth it if you need work done. He also sells guitars. He knows his stuff.
Had a simple repair and Dylan handle it without having to wait…
Professional, driven, masterful attention to detail and wonderful customer service!! Thank you.
Classic City Vintage Guitars is a gem. Dylan’s work is wonderful. I bought a vintage Kay with a rubber bridge conversion from CCVG and I’ve never heard or played a guitar like it. I love it.
