The woman that works here was very honest and has a great heart. She went out of her way to take the time to find a gold chain and cross that has been in our family for over 20 years and pawned almost a year ago even after the man that also works there just kept telling us he already sold them. It was beautiful way to end the year by getting something to sentimental to us back in the family! Fair prices and great customer service. Makes all the different when choosing where you spend your money.

Had good pricing on firearms in this market, but the older sales lady had a take it or leave it I don’t care type of attitude which ultimately put me off from purchasing anything.

Had to leave work an hour early just so I could squeak in before closing then get eye rolling & sighs as I walk thru the door. Ran me out 5-mins before closing cuz they were exhausted after 8-hours sitting behind a counter. Came here to buy some ammo at 20 and they didn’t want to sell to me. They told me I had to be 21 and older and I said no you don’t it’s 18 and older and he didn’t believe me and he had to look up the law for about 20 min just to sell me ammo. How you work at a place selling guns and ammo and don’t even know there laws?
this place could care less about custumer service .dont come in here to look and find something that you like.. if you dont know or not sure what you want ,mister tatoo would rather tell you to get out of his store than to help you..there are to many real gun shops to bother with this one

Very nice man. Has been polite and courtious the times I visited his pawn shop. Good thing he doesn’t take in junk. Overall has quality merchandise. Prices are a tad bit on the high side on the items I look for but you have to start somewhere. Will take your offer if it’s reasonable. Do your research when buying since pawn shops around the area are paying 40% of value or less. You may come out of there with a great deal if you play your cards right and catch him in the right mood. Don’t know about selling or pawning there since I only buy. Hope he stays open since there are approximately five pawn shops within a couple miles.
I don’t usually write a reveiw on my experience at pawn shops, but this one deserves my attention. The first time i went there i was shopping for movie posters for a theater room i had built in my home. i think it was the owner i was dealing with. Anyway i laid out the posters i wanted to bargain for. He had them marked at $45.95 each. Liked six of the big ones and 3 of the small ones. He told me that i could have the 6 big ones for $40 each, which i thought was fair, however he wanted $40 each for the 3 small ones which i thought was way over priced. I informed him that i would come back with my son to pick up the 6 big ones, since i didnt have the room in my car to take them, could you believe this jerk told me that if i didnt get them now they would be $50 each when i come back. And get this he has a giant ad out in front of his store 20 percent off. Anyway, found all the posters on line for $10 each and frames for 12 ea online so paid $22 ea. half price. Im letting everyone know that im not upset with the price he was selling them at, thats his option, but i am upset with his attitude toward his customers. Just a word of caution, pawn shops are not always the best option, and in my case not the best experience either.
Very poor establishment. The owner is very cocky and arrogant and likes to belittle their customers. Plus their prices are way overpriced. Would not recommend this business to anyone.
He advertised a Yamaha preamp on Facebook marketplace when I bought it, he assured me it worked perfectly. When I got home, I couldn’t get any video output. Not even for the on screen menu so no way to use the set up functions. I reset it to factory default but still no video.
I brought it back and he said I had to have returned it within 24 hours otherwise he would only give store credit. I told him that I didn’t change my mind, IT DOESN’T WORK!!!
He said he would contact the guy who sold it to them. I waited a few days and spoke to him again. They weren’t able to get the video working either. I said you only gave me 24 hours but you’ve now has it four days and don’t know what’s wrong with it.
Gerry still would only give store credit. Well, if this receiver wasn’t checked, why would I want to buy something else there.
After a week, he told me to come get it. When I brought it to the repair shop, I was told it was going to be over $800. The circuit board has to be replaced.
When I contacted Gerry about the repair, he said he was done with me. No store credit, no refund. Now I have a receiver that I paid $999 for and have pay another $800 to fix it.

I bought a Stihl concrete saw and it broke on the first pull. Engine seized when the compression release went into the valve.
Old warn out junk.
And the owner would not give me any refund or credit.
There has to be way better shops in the area. Don’t try these guys.

Highley recommend, my experience was great with Karl. He talked to me through the whole process. Gave me many options, and recommended items based on my price point and sound I wanted without trying to upsale me. He genuinely treats each project as that, not just another bike.
I’ve know Karl (owner for volks audio) for a long time (10yrs plus). Back then I always used to buy from him and had him hook up my systems too. This time around I got a new amp and speaker from him and he even changed some wires I had installed by another to much better top of the line wires. The system hits strong and sounds great. Will continue to go back to him in the future. Great customer service!
Volks Audio took care of my bike like a baby! I was really impressed with the communication throughout the whole process and the end result is amazing!
I’d recommend Volks for anyone wanting to wake up the monster that’s inside your bike! I call mine The Dragon, the way it spits out fire notes. Highs and lows are crystal clear. The volume is more than enough, the weatherproof equipment used it top quality. I truly can’t say enough about this business!

We went in simply looking for a drop leaf table and chair set. We really didn’t have any idea what we were specifically looking for and, yes, the store was slightly difficult to navigate due to the large amount of inventory. But, guess what, it was like a treasure hunt, I loved it!! After letting the owner know what i was looking for and that I was truly interested in buying something, was very helpful. The one or two drop leaf tables turned into a total of about 6 that the owner found for us to look at in the store. The owners experience and knowledge of the product in that store was amazing! we ended up buying a Beautiful table from the Stetson Mansion and a lovely set of Rose back chairs which now both have meaning to us and more value. They the owner know that you are interested and let him actual share his knowledge and you will find that he is a very nice person and more than willing to help.
I would suggest changing the name.

I haven’t been in there in over a year, because of the pandemic. They changed the store around, so things are not familiar. I noticed that a lot of the shelves were completely empty! Sold out of a lot of stuff. Noticed the addition of self-check out isles. Not good for people who need to work for a living. I’ll just keep away from there as much as possible.

Rude…… don’t bother wasting your time… find someone who will do your repairs with integrity and who won’t be so quick to insult you and or overcharge/rip you off..

I used to like this store a lot, but the last time I was there I saw the ladies up front looking up prices on eBay. You get the stuff for free and have the nerve to operate as a religious entity. Should be renamed heart and home boutique. I will not be back.
The manager is rude and treats her employees very badly. I treat my underage daughter like a thief to my face. We went in to buy some emergency pants for my daughter. She changed them and we lined up to pay. The manager demanded that my daughter show her where the pants she was wearing were and my daughter told her here in the shopping cart to pay with the other things because I am not a $2 pants thief. unfortunately the employees are afraid of this person and nobody does anything. she is rude. she has the title of manager on her head.
Such snotty workers here. Everyone at this location has an attitude, will NOT be coming back.
