They have everything! In a clean, well-lit store with amazingly helpful staff. I buy all my food, medicine, and many other things there.
This is our favorite walmart, and we drive the extra miles to get here!
Wonderful store and a, great community . good customer service.and always a good place to do all my shopping.
Not a huge fan of this location, it is smaller than the other area locations, the staff are horrible at customer service in general, and the area homeless are so entrenched in and around the store, I’ve found everything from broken window glass scattered on the parking lot on multiple different occasions to used hypodermic needles laying uncapped right out in the open in common area walking paths where children are regularly walking… Worst Walmart in the greater Sacramento area.
It’s big and they have a good selection
Me encanta todo muy limpio y los trabajadores muy amables
Getting better but still slow
This black man claims he’s not a worker of Walmart, is supposed to be a secret shopper, instead he harassed every customer (I have videos from friends, myself, and random customers that I’ve met inside the store) that have complained about him harassing them for just shopping. He will try to kick out anyone. He needs to be fired. He is no secret to anyone, if anyone wants to shop lift he couldn’t pretend he’s a customer as he wears the same outfit almost daily and makes his presence known by constantly being rude to customers and trying to kick them out if they even look his way. Very disgusting individual that will be reported to corporate as well. The “assistant manager” Elizabeth, who is also shown in this video being very disrespectful, needs to also be demoted from management positions as she takes part in kicking out customers without reason other than the man being upset and wanting customers out for “taking a picture” and him happening to be in the background. (The picture of him was cropped to show just him, he was not the main point of the picture, though he thought he was and wanted to kick us out because of it, I have the original that won’t be uploaded here). Shoppers BEAWARE the management and “secret employees” that work here are very disgusting people who should not be allowed to degrade Walmart, especially not in the ORANGEVALE area, a place that’s SUPPOSED to be a nice nieghborhood. Please get rid of such harmful employees and put them under investigation as I’ve heard story after story and will be pursuing this in multiple manners.
The worst customer service ever. Waited 19 minutes , in a not busy Tuesday morning. Two agents were helping two customers with the speed of snails and did not even care that the line is getting longer and longer. Meanwhile two or three employees came in, without even take a look at 9 of us in the line waiting. Gave up afetr 29 minutes.
Staff are nice and I would give the store because of friendly staff, 3 stars.
If uou could find a manager, big if…, they don’t have any idea what is going on. Like they are sleep walking .
Sad….this is called neighborhood store?

Very helpful answered all my questions and even showed how to clean the instruments.
Excellent place for instruments, accessories, repairs, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GUITAR TEACHERS, such as CHRIS MIZER and BILLY RAINEY.
Very polite and helpful staff. I went in to inquire about selling my clarinet and the man at the counter was very warm and friendly and gave me a lot of direction.
I’ve also had some repair work done on instruments in the past and they were friendly, quick and fairly priced. Thank you
Did a great job repairing a trumpet fir mu son! Really nice people.!
The store was open but I even didn’t get to get in the store, I saw the atendent from outside and he just made a hands sign that I should wait.
Thanks TheSaxoMan for making our grand opening unforgettable! He is a very professional musician and our staff guarantees that he can make your event be filled by the saxophone’s rich sound and make your guests ask for his number.
Arsen played at one of my wing events at Jessup University and he played wonderful, and he really brings the vibe.
Arsen is the musician you never knew you needed for your next event! He played different genres and our guests had the best time dancing under the songs. He was a pleasure to work with – very professional, responsive, and understanding when it came to guests never ending requests. 10/10 highly recommend!

I’ve been a devoted customer since 1985. You’ll be pleased with the selection, intimate setting, and, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Awesomeness in Service! The cafe nextdoor is equally as Awesome!
Great high-end stuff
Decent service and friendly staff
Great store, good people except for Andy. I brought in a Peavey for some parts and the guy was offended. “I`m a certified Fender tech” Get over yourself guy.
I enjoyed the experience of coffee, paired sometimes with comedy, awesome musicians to so so ones on open mike days. Fun place with friendly staff.
Wish the coffee was better than just good, or maybe I’m just spoilt. Haha.
The staff is very nice but the owner has very poor customer service skills. He does not know how to listen to customer needs nor he gives a choice. Even if you rent violin from him you do not have a choice. It will be whatever he gives you. He is very rude. I was trying to pick a violin for my child and he was very suspicious why we were looking for details on the violin. He sells violins with cracks for high prices. DO NOT SUGGEST BUYING OR RENTING VIOLIN from this place. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM OWNER.
It is unfortunate that I was not able to receive the great customer service others described on this store. I went in to ask questions and buy a guitar for my son. I waited 15 minutes to be helped. There were three people working as far as I could tell, and no one came to help or even said they would be right with me. After that length of time I felt uncomfortable and left. I’m not one to stand right at the counter and demand attention. I walked around and looked at each guitar displayed, but didn’t really know what to look for. It is a small store so I should have been noticed. Yes, they were busy and helping others but there were only three other customers in the shop. I will be buying my guitar somewhere else.
This shop is close to my home and has a reasonable selection and decent prices for its size. I don’t mind paying an extra 10% over what I would pay at Guitar Center if I can support small and local business. BUT the service here is pretty sparse and harsh.
As someone else said, customers are not permitted to handle any instruments (including $150 guitars) without assistance, and the assistance can be hard to come by. I kinda feel if you’re gonna spend 4 figures on a piece a gear you outta be able to look it over, feel it, and play it without having someone hovering over you. There are some products customers are not allowed to even LOOK AT, much less handle, without an escort. After all, it’s a music store, not a museum. I understand they don’t wanna have to discount products because someone mishandledthemt, but if that’s your policy it would be nice to have customer service that actually services the customer.
10. The Different Drum
Address: 7300 Yarrow Way #4070, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 , Orangevale , California , United States
Excellently professional! Kriss is very knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of the industry. Relaxed feel, comfortable recording environment.
You will have an incredible experience working with Continuum. These guys really know what they’re doing. They are by far the best producers I’ve worked with in the Sacramento area. Their music production, mixing/mastering, and song writing skills are on point. Everything they work on turns out legit with that professional quality sound. Their mentor program is excellent as well; if you’re looking to step up your music production or song writing skills, then these guys will get you to where you need to be.
I purchased some gear from the guys at Continuum. They were immediately very communicative and involved. They answered any questions I had and even offered to have a phone call to discuss my setup and talk shop about any thing I might like to ask. I had a great phone call and even a few follow ups. I truly appreciate Chris and Rick’s kind nature and strongly recommend them in any capacity! Top Notch!!

Fun place to shop and save lots of $$$! Good service and plenty of merchandise to choose from.
Great place to find used stuff. They have name brand clothing at super low prices. Love shopping there!!
Fabulous work
Great pics recommended for
All ages best one yet
There were many items to choose from but I thought the prices were high. I was looking at kids toys. I did not buy anything.
This is solid goodwill. They used to have this one really awful see you next Tuesday that worked there but I haven’t seen her in a while. Now that she is gone, it’s back to being a pretty good thrifting spot with reliably good quality stuff.
Not many coats but found other cute things.
This review is for the orangevale store which is not on google maps for some reason…Go to the folsom store instead. The managment here is horrible. I just bought some True Religion jeans at this store and apon leaning they were counterfeit the next day i tried to get a refund. It is illegal for srores including thrift stores to sell counterfeit goods but the manager kept telling me that the reciept said all sales final so he couldnt fo anything. It was a very unpleasent experience and their managers would rather break the law rather than their store code and respect the customer. Dont expect goo customer service here, go to the folsom store instead.
Horrible
I’m a big fan of Goodwill stores but this store is really overpriced for a second hand store
13. Chalmers Guitar Repair
Address: 8421 Ziegler Ct, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 , Orangevale , California , United States
The local guitar repair shop has almost vanished. When I was younger, the local guitar shop did it all and did it well. I was surprised and lucky to find Chalmers Guitar in Citrus Heights that still works that way. Carl(the owner ) replaced the bridge, set the action and intonation on my Telecaster. He even did some work on the nut to ensure everything was perfect. The Tele sounds amazing, and the playability is a dream. The level of communication and care was old school professional. It was like stepping back in time. I was also surprised he charged a fair and reasonable amount. Would I recommend Carl and Chalmers Guitar? Yes, in a heartbeat!! In fact, I have a Taylor acoustic ( I really love this guitar ) that needs his care.
~Stephen
Carl is great to work with! High skilled and very personable and responsive. I have a custom build that needed a proper setup, and Carl got the action perfect. I came back to him to have him shape the headstock, and could not be happier with the result! I highly recommend coming to him for any service needed.
Did great fret and nut work on my Fender american jazz bass.
Good selections, friendly knowledgeable service and reliable repair!
Had my guitar restrung. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The price was reasonable and they did it in one day.
Friendly staff and adequate selection for student musicians.
Attended a piano recital on Sat 5th. Very well organized and music was enjoyable. Program was safe distancing and masks required. Students that participated were very involved.
Helpful and knowledgeable crew. Thanks for your help
I have purchase and rented instruments here before. This time, five different staff said they would help, apparently what I wanted was not in stock and instead of letting me know, all left me waiting. After quite a wait we decided to leave. Someone caught us leaving and took our number to call and figure out how we could get ahold of the instrument. That was over 8 weeks ago, my phone never rang. They’ve lost a loyal customer.
This would be zero stars but a plug is warranted for John Doolittle’s sax lessons at the store of which I availed myself a couple of times. Zero stars involves me taking my alto sax there for repair. It’s over 50 years old but has had some restorative work done; fairly significant when I started playing again regularly about three years ago and more minor work several months ago and again following my unpleasant experience at Tim’s, the former by Kline Music and the latter by The Music Store in Rocklin. The guy at Kline is particularly known for his competence. The purported lead expert on reed instrument repairs at Tim’s told me my Selmer Mark VI needed a $1500 complete overhaul and they wouldn’t touch it for any lesser amount of work. The guy in Rocklin then fixed it for $65 and it plays just fine, as it did before it started acting up shortly before I took it to Tim’s. I played in church today and was complemented on my tone by their music director, who is a school music teacher and fellow owner of a Selmer Mark VI. An instrument in need of complete renovation obviously could not produce such a result. I got a different feel from the store than I did when I took lessons from Doolittle at the old location. Maybe they’ve bitten off more than they can chew financially but they’ve certainly lost my business.
