I went in to buy a ukulele. Margo was friendly and knowledgeable.
They had plenty of instruments, books, and other things to browse through. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be returning for musical purchases I need to make in the future.
Music instructors are the best.
This store usually has my sax needs.
Good music instructors, great service and great staff.
I rented an instrument for my son there over a month ago. The instrument was supposed to be delivered directly to the school but never arrived. Over the coarse of 2 weeks I called 3 separate times to inquire when the instrument would be delivered and was told “I don’t know, we will call you back” every time. We never received a call back. When I called today, the woman told me that they ran out of the instrument I ordered and they have no idea when/if they will get more in. They didn’t call or email me to let me know the instrument was back ordered and THEY STILL CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS for the rental that they didn’t/couldn’t fill. Their customer service and transparency needs alot of work.
they were nice and informative, but i returned something and they opted to send me a check. It’s been over a month and i still haven’t gotten my money back
Be careful about their rental program. They will tell you that you can use the rental music towards an instrument, but the policy on this is excessively restrictive and limited to very few off-brands. Basically, the rental credit is worthless. If you want rentals, they are OK for that, but it is more or less money out the window. We kept an instrument for much longer than we otherwise would have after knowing that our child was going to stick with it with the plans on trading up. After accruing over $800 in credit, they said we could use it towards 2 different no-name brands or $200 of it towards a name brand instrument (which we ended up buying elsewhere for much less than that). You may be better served to rent briefly and return if your kid sticks with it after their 4 month promotion period, or pick a more local place and feel better about your money staying with local musicians and retailers.
Quality work and service! Very pleased with the repairs I had done.
He knows guitars inside and out and fixed my problem almost instantly
Excellent quality work and very friendly. Good price, and done in a timely manner. I went in to get my bridge adjusted and a few other things. My gear played great, and he even told me to come back if it needed to be tweaked, free of charge.
I’ll go here for any future work that I need done!

I was in a pinch over a school-owned guitar that required some tricky maintenance. Corey was gracious with his time and took care of this problem for me quickly and I am highly appreciative. I really love this store and the amazing instruments that are on display. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for guitars, basses or any related accessories. Great quality at Spindrift.
Great selection of guitars from Taylor, Martin, Huss and dalton, Boucher McPherson, reverend, stock guitars and more. Staff was super knowledgeable and cool. No pushy sales vibes. They also build guitars and tube amps in house. Spindrift is a true guitar store.
I bought a 1960’s Ampeg B15 from these guys. A friend of mine has one and I’ve always wanted one. I’m not a great bass player and it’s hard to go into a shop and have people who know what they are talking about stand over you while you pluck timidly. The amp didn’t sound as good as my friend’s. But… I know that the acoustics of a room have a huge impact on the way things sound. Specifically, Spindrift has a concrete floor and I wondered how much the wooden floor of my usual venue contributed to the creamy warm tone I was used to from the amp. Anyway, I took a chance, and when I got the amp home and sat it next to my friend’s, my new amp sounded better than his. Moral of the story: don’t trust the acoustics in the store. Trust the word of the guys at Spindrift. They are legit! Thank you so much.
They really know their guitars.
Shop owner very helpful with advice on adjusting the action on my mandolin. It is specifically a guitar shop.
Nice small ma and pa guitar shop
I brought in vintage Gibson Les Paul custom for a Re fret and they completely ruined it there was surface scratches ,chips in the fret board the frets were un even and buzzed. After 4 attempts bringing the guitar back to the store with the problems only half way fixed every time or even new problems I just cut my loses and brought my guitar to a real professional if you want it done right I do not recommend bringing your guitar here for major repairs
