Always has what I need, or makes good recommendations.
Good place for guitar parts. You never know when a tuning head or pick-up is gonna be broken.
Staff is helpful.
Love Guitar Center but the item I wanted was ‘in stock’ on line but not in stock when I went to the store. Always nice to check out the guitars hence the 3 stars.
Always had what I need
worst customer service ever
Terrible experience – disgusting treatment at the Palm Desert guitar center tonight. Came in to look at a specific guitar that I’ve had my eye on and was excited to buy this weekend, but it needed to be removed from the wall using a key, so I asked the guy at the front for some help and he said he was the one who was able to remove it from the wall for me, but it would have to wait- so I said ok that’s fine. So we waited 15 minutes while they helped other customers that kept coming in. Around the 20 minute mark- he very vocally complained about ‘having to take down a guitar for some customer that’s been waiting because he didn’t want to deal with it’. And after 30 minutes, him and 2 other guys stood around in the front talking amongst themselves and none of them bothered to ask if we even needed help. Very ridiculous and disrespectful that we were continuously ignored while every other customer around us was helped. Needless to say, I’m going all the way to Ontario for all my music related purchases at Sam Ash!!! 🙂
I have been a longtime customer and I have seen the customer service dwindle and their product knowledge is now practically nonexistent. I would not recommend buying from them as you can find better deals online. There is no benefit in becoming a customer of theirs. Service is bad, knowledge is nil and prices are high.
3. Dale’s Records and Skate Shop
Address: 73754 CA-111 north, 73754 CA-111 Sutie A, Palm Desert, CA 92260 , Palm Desert , California , United States
The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, the staff is super helpful. Best experience for skateboarders/longboarders.
Fun small used record shop with a skate shop built in. Fun collectible things spread out.
Place rules…great atmosphere. If your lookin for music def the spot or a skateboard
Very cool shop with eclectic mix of vinyl albums, some books, turntable choices and other fun things.
Not a whole lot to offer. Very limited record selection. It’s more skateboard shop with records as a side hustle.
The collection was small but fairly eclectic. The guy at the counter (owner? was friendly). The prices were good.
I’ve heard terrible things about this place, but I went to check out the records, nothing to special, there’s new records that are a little overpriced, only because they had damage that effected the playback, I spoke to someone there explaining how even brand new records are damaged a lot of the times and he completely dismissed what I was saying, and the records I’ve purchased there prove that sadly, so much for the vinyl community right, from what I saw seems like a cool skateboard shop, but for records, Barnes & Noble has a bigger selection, and if something is damaged they honor the customer witch is surly important for a successful business I’m sure. Hope this helps!
4. Palm Desert Piano
Address: 72171 CA-111 Suite 101, Palm Desert, CA 92260 , Palm Desert , California , United States
If you’re looking for a piano you have to go here. They have traditional digital and hybrid pianos. The customer service is fantastic. Very patient very knowledgeable. Extremely happy with my purchase.
We were in search of a specific model Yamaha baby grand piano never expecting to find one. To our surprise, we found the exact piano in stock and ready for purchase at Palm Desert Piano. The owners were more than accommodating to ensure we were able to deliver the piano that same day in time for Christmas as a present to our Mom. They went above and beyond to make this happen. We’d recommend anyone looking for a piano to meet the wonderful people at Palm Desert Piano.
Cant thank Palm Desert Piano enough for the great customer service, and help with the purchase of our piano. They truly were so informative and helpful with all the questions we had. Our family is so excited. Mark and Matt were both an absolute pleasure to work with. We will definitely be sending over friends and family. Thanks again!!
5. Music Educational Services
Address: 77700 Enfield Ln STE C1, Palm Desert, CA 92211 , Palm Desert , California , United States
This store meets my (classical) music needs. They usually have everything I need in stock. When they don’t have what I want, they order it. Since the fire, it has taken double if not triple the time to restock their items. It’s understandable. Still a great store with lovely staff
Good place
knowable staff…courteous…good price for the equipment I bought.
Great service very helpful
gone inside to the store a couple of times in my life. got a acoustic sunlite for $130 four years ago pretty nice guitar. but now when i walk in i can’t help but feel that it seems like a very sad place full of stuff. the vibe i get inside from workers vary from a very mellow to intimidating situation where they wont take the time to get a feel for what you want. more of a (are you going to buy it or not?) type of rush. but the place is pretty cool. wish they could make it pop more it’s a dole place with cool stuff an not so cool stuff.
I’m a professional rock drummer, and just moved to the desert. First visit to Musicians Outlet, and my last. Staff had no clue how to help me on some drum issues i had, and counter staff wanted my name/contact info when i went to purchase a small percussion item. When I refused, he copped an attitude. Can’t wait til this area gets a Guitar Center, because this placed sucked…..
I was told via email to bring my guitar in to drop it off for an estimate/repair. I drove one hour each way only to find that the older gentleman at the front desk said they do not take guitars for repair, but gave me someone else’s business card and to call him instead. I could have googled that information from home. Not only that he was not very knowledgeable or friendly and seemed to want to rush me out of the store. I would rather drive an hour extra to a Guitar Center or shop online than revisit this store. Not recommended unless you are desperate.

Muzoracle is a harmonious marriage of the metaphysical occult and the manifested, bridging intuition and intellect.
It is creative story telling that helps to unravel the subconscious and allow for deep emotional states to surface. The accompanying musical elements strikes at the core of my emotional centers. It helped me to resolve inner conflict and supported my decision-making process on matters of the heart.
The physical space is tranquil yet energetically charged, thoughtfully planned out, and very welcoming.
Jeff is a wonderfully caring person with a soothing voice who guided me through this extraordinary journey of self-discovery and resolution.
I loved this system so much that I wish to learn it and use it to help others in the same way.
For seekers of solace and guidance in any aspect of life, I highly recommend Jeff & Muzoracle.
This was a beautiful, special experience. I would do again.
I had such a magical experience getting a Muzoracle reading and sound bath. Jeff is a true healer and a wonderful musician. I hope many others have the opportunity to witness his art and be transformed through his collaborative story-telling journey that reaches deep into your being.
