Very nice place and the staff are very friendly and helpful
Will was very helpful and informative about replacing my bridge on my violin. I will definitely return for future services.
Nice little place. Have gone in a few times for reeds and picks. Staff is really nice and helpful.
I will say that they advertise that they have music teachers who offer lessons there. And say to call for availability… don’t waste your time. I called six times (in a month) to inquire about violin lessons and left messages each time, never heard back. Finally go in, and they say they don’t offer lessons for her age, not a big deal, it just was an irritant to not have messages returned.
Can’t recommend more highly. Nate repaired and set up my vintage yamaha in no time at all. Now it’s playing like a dream. This guy knows what he is doing!! Fair prices, great service!
Nate did a great job adjusting/ setting up my guitar. Super knowledgeable and great to work with. He’s my new guitar guy!
Nate is the go to guy for a custom build in SLO county. He has assembled a JazzMaster and Tele for me from custom parts. The set up and nut job make the guitars play like a factory custom shop.

Breakfast vibe was totally cool. Enjoyed the atmosphere and open windows that allowed the cool breeze to pass through. The coffee & food were really yummy as well!
Excellent coffee, food and service
Really good coffee, nice space, mostly nice staff (there is one person who works here whose “friendliness” is palpably disingenuous).
I THOUGHT THIS DANG NAB PLACE WAS A HARDWARE STORE. VERY GOSH DARN MISLEADIN’. AMIRITE??
Great coffee. Breakfast food is over priced ($8 for a bagel and cream cheese!)
Food is good, however quite silly for them to have a single griddle and for a breakfast sandwich to take 30 minutes. This happened to us 2x in a row.
We came as tourists to this charming little place. The coffee was like water and the bagel was good, but small. My friend ordered a $9 burrito and got raw bacon. The owner told her it wasn’t raw and started calling her names. It ruined our quiet morning. So sad owners have to be so naughty.
Went in 20 minutes before closing time. While they did serve us our coffees to go, the person taking our orders was extremely rude. Not only did she speak in a rude tone but was aggressive in her mannerism. Not worth going back there.

Great prices and carry the best stuff for car audio in SLO County just got a box and speakers from him
Simply the best
Knowledgeable staff. Quality Products. You can shop there and not worry about somebody trying to sell you something you did not originally want.
I was able to do a basic “Big 3” upgrade with 8 gauge wire and still had enough to run for my amp.
Buen servicio y muy profesional
I had an appointment to replace an antenna, was told when I got there they need the car all day. When I told the owner I had to wait because I didn’t have a ride to my house in 10 miles away he said there’s no waiting area you’ll have to walk around or wait outside. Freezing cold outside. Will not be returning. Poor customer service. Guess I should have read the other reviews before I made an appointment.
After realizing they didn’t have the stereo I wanted, I purchased a unit elsewhere and asked if they would install it for me. I was quoted $100 plus parts. To be clear, I was not told $100 an hour, rather the install would cost $100 plus parts. When I picked up the unit, I was billed $336 dollars for the installation. I later learned, they do not produce or provide an invoice showing parts and labor, just the receipt that comes out of their register.
After my sticker shock, I went out to my car. I immediately noticed that the head unit was not properly fit in the double din slot. In fact, it was set back about one-half inch or more and had a grommet/fascia surrounding the unit which also did not fit (you can see daylight around the unit). For reasons I didn’t understand, the unit was tilted up quite a bit, which partially concealed the physical buttons on the top of the unit. I was dissatisfied, but figured I’d drive home and mull it over.
When I got home, I switched off the engine to have a better look at the install and listen to how the new JVC sounds. I switched the ignition key from “on” to “acc”. Oddly the acc position had the entire dashboard indicators lit up, the dashboard should be dark in the acc position? The next day I drove down there and they “fixed” the problem with the wiring so the acc position worked as it should.
The following day I pulled the center console to see why the unit was so out of whack and leaning back in the double din slot. To my dismay, they had used a set of mounting plates I left with them “only if the fitment is right”, which it clearly was not because only two of four screws were used to fasten the radio to the car and they literally pulled on it so it faced the double din hole as best it could. The grommet/fascia was also clearly some left over part, it too only had two of four screws in it because it is not made to fit the JVC to my vehicle. In other words, they simply did not buy the correct installation kit, instead improvised with old parts.
Likewise, they reused my old steering wheel interface control which had been attached to my previous aftermarket stereo. Before the install they told me specifically that they would not use it, but instead they did (which has now comprised the functionality of the steering wheel controls).
I also noticed a rats nest of wires on the rear seat passenger floorboard, not properly bundled or secured, just a bunch of wires in a mess where someone’s feet should go?
Lastly, I noticed that they kept my Pioneer head unit that was replaced by the JVC install, along with the JVC manual (and who knows what else?).
At $326 dollars, with no new parts purchased to install my JVC head unit, I would expect a professional installation, not some hack job that is both electrically and physically wrong in so many ways. I was embarrassed to admit to my friends how many things were wrong for such a high priced installation.
So I drove back to politely address the issues. I did get my Pioneer head unit back and the JVC manual, but no one said why they kept it and made no excuses for keeping it? When I began to list the specific installation issues, I couldn’t get a sentence out without being talked over. Somehow it was my fault it went so wrong (saying I told them to do this, do that, etc.). Go figure.
In the end, they asked me what I wanted “because it is important to maintain a good customer relationship”. I asked for $150 refund, so I can correct the sloppy installation. The money came flying out of the register and I left the store. Sad situation as I had such high expectations.
I had a amp sub install and was told it would be ready by the end of the day and I would get a call. 45 minutes before close I get a call that my car was ready but more in a mannerism as it’s been ready and where am I. Within 3 minutes I arrived. Most likely to the owners surprise as his installer couldn’t get the harness tucked in fast enough to complete. So I ended up waiting 30 minutes for my ready car. The owner is a hot head and I hate being disrespected and let’s just say things got so bad that in the heat of it all the owner shouted out that he was from Compton.
