The best selection of jewelry I have seen in a long time. Lots of fun garden statues and bird baths. A great selection of fun and funky things. Things are fairly priced. I would definitely suggest going here and her sweet bulldog makes the store more fun.

Had a magical attic charm to it with an impressive assortment of jewelery, knick-knacks, and doo-dads. You never know what you’ll find, but it’s garunteed that you’ll meet a very sweet pup.

I have been driving past waiting for it to open. I can not express my disappointment. Everything was junk. It was dirty and disorganized. I won’t be returning.

I’ve been to a few paint your own pottery places and this is my favorite. The owners are very nice and have added glass arts. We always have fun here and never feel rushed.

Awesomeness! This place is so much fun! Everytime I go there there is something new to do. Can’t wait to go again.

Fantastic place for all ages. Get Fired Up is a pottery/craft/creation shop in downtown Westerly. They have a variety of blank pieces with set prices (including sitting fee) and 50+ options for paints and other drawing utensils. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a good place to bring kids or to go as adults as well. Smaller pieces (pencil cups) start around $10 or $15 and some bigger plates and bowls will run you $30 – $50 depending on size. They fire the piece for you when you’re done and you can pick it up the next week. Plan to spent a minimum of an hour or two if you want to finish the piece in one sitting.

I went with my brother, sister, and two cousins, and between the five of us, the cost was about $100 and everyone just finished in the hour and a half we were there. You can also come back and finish pieces if you don’t have enough time.

Overall, I highly recommend it! Call ahead if you have a party of 3+ and they’ll get the table ready for you.

Great for families, couples, friends, or just yourself.

I came here with my kids, 8 and 4, and we had a great time. The only gripe I had was when it came to picking out what we were gonna paint. I wished there was more to choose from. It was kinda limited but we ended up picking a box with a lid, a pony, and a dinosaur. They were about $18 each which seems like a lot for a small 6 inch figurine but it includes everything from the paint and brushes to the firing. There’s no studio or sitting fee’s and it’s a great keepsake from your children that’ll last a long long time.
After you finish painting they put it in a kiln and call you in about 5 days to let you know it’s ready to be picked up.

I would have given it 5 stars had there been more to choose from. I hope they expand on their selection soon!!

This was honestly the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I got a double cheeseburger off the dollar menu and it was some five guys quality. I was shocked. I should have taken a picture of it but i couldn’t put it down.

I go thrifting a lot and this is one of my favorite places I’ve ever been. Great prices. I’ve found so much cool stuff here and even found some holiday gifts this winter!

Extremely disorganized and dirty.

THEY ARE NOT EXCEPTING DONATIONS according to the scribble sign out back. Would have been helpful on thier web page.
It was my 1st time there to donate some dress pant & shirts I have outgrown. I walked in the front door carrying a full box, pretty obvious why I was standing there. I was told donation are in back so I walked around to the back only to find a scribbled sign saying they are not excepting donation, even though the Webpage and the large sign on the wall indicated they do except during the time I was there.. THANKS FOR THE WALK ABOUT.

5 stars all the way around…service, atmosphere, food/drinks. We ordered the fresh brew, chai latte, bruschetta, and hollywood bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious. Thanks Stick + Fin, we’ll be back!!!!

Small cafe with a very limited food & drink menu – mostly items that you could take to go, but they do have outdoor seating in the back of the establishment.

Cool decor, outdoor seating with a view of the river but my iced chai latte was meh. I could barely taste the chai.

Coffee was expensive for the size, but not bad. Also not the greatest selection of food.

Super cute decor and vibe. Was disappointed with the food that looks really appetizing in photos. The avocado and egg toast was not toasted enough, and was super bland. Basically no flavor. While the bagel (everything)with cream cheese was like a salt lick- also not toasted enough. Coffee was scalding hot to the point of waiting 10 minutes to drink and and it was super bitter. Smoothie was okay, with they had a fruity choice. Both choices of smoothies are to close in flavors. Ice tea is a weird flavor. Can’t even describe all that’s going on there. Hibiscus maybe with cherry flavoring? My family and I were dissatisfied to say the least.

Disappointed, walked in at 1:45 but was told coffee machines are closed for the day.

OK… I wish this review was going to be a good one, but it won’t be. Let me say a couple things first:

1) I was in full support of this business opening, I even wrote and had published in the local paper an opinion piece on why it should be.

2) I’ve been a cigar smoker for over 35 years! I use to buy them underage, I looked in my twenties when I was a teenegaer. In those years I’ve seen a lot of changes, and a lot of taxes, as well as a great deal of price gouging. I seen the cigar boom of the 90s come and go, leaving in its wake some great brands reduced to mediocre, like Romeo y Julieta, in an attempt to supply cigar posers with their prop. You know the type, they claim to love a good cigar, but can’t hold one in their mouths for more then a couple seconds without closing one eye and making a funny grimace with half their mouth… it takes all kinds, I suppose.

Now, to my thoughts on this cigar shop…

Presently, due to a bad car accident I can’t enjoy one of my favorite pass times for a at least a few more months. Still, there’s a few folks on my Christmas list I know are true cigar lovers like me. So, I decided to give Vintage a shot.

Walking in I was greated, rather repulsed by a large screen TV a bit too loud for my liking, as well as loud music that I can only describe as rubbish… I think it was some house or dance track, I don’t know.

The next thing I heard was a ‘hello’ by one of two women cleaning a mirror behind a bar. The place looked nice, leather club chairs, decent bar, but all I was interested in was getting a few cigars to give out this Christmas, so I went straight to the humidor. As I aproached it I noted a locking device with a number code unit. I figured this was probably for locking when the shop was closed, or if it gets real busy. I was wrong!

One of the woman at the mirror had to come over and escort me in… OK, I’ve seen the escort thing before, that’s fine… but a pass button lock… really? This is Westerly, not Pawtucket… geeezzzz!

Inside the humidor it can feel awkward when you know you’re not so much being assisted by the person with you, but, as the lock dictates, WATCHED! But, it’s OK, they don’t know me from Adam, I understand. In a situation like this it’s nice to try and make conversation, so, I asked a simple question; “who Owns this place?”

What I got was anything but an answer; “three guys.”

Curious now, I just couldn’t let it go, so I had to ask if it’s “a secret,” was she being “deliberately vague?” The answer then turned into “three local guys.”

You can’t make this stuff up… I then explained that I have lived in South County my whole life, and in this part of it for many years, finally she told me their first names. “That tells me nothing” I replied. At this point she seemed a bit irritated and gave me last names.

I once had a wisdom tooth extracted… it was easier then this conversation!

I was actually relieved when another customer came in the humidor, now I wouldn’t feel like I should make small talk, and the attention was on someone else.

I proceeded to zero in on a few brands I have always thought a good smoke for the money, one was a cigar I can find in most shops for $6.50 to $8 tops! When I asked the price, because I couldn’t see one, I was told $11.00!!!

At this point I put the cigar back and walked out. I did mention the price this brand normally goes for in leaving and was told “that’s fine!”

I’m sure this is a nice place to go and pay a premium price for a non premium smoke if you’re looking to hang out, drink a cocktail, or whatever you like. What the booze cost, I don’t know, and don’t care! I’m sure there’s guys that go there just to smoke, or smoke and get out of the house, or smoke and look at the women working there… whatever!

But, if you’re like me and don’t care about those issues and just want to find a good cigar at a competitive price, trust me, you can do a lot better.

Will this place make it? I guess that depends on how many true cigar smokers in the area need this kind of atmosphere. Trendy cigar smokers won’t last long.

Great music! It was great seeing the young children singing along with other people of all ages 200 voices strong! They have been doing this for 59 years and dependent on donations–that’s how much the community loves them.

One of New England’s hidden musical gems. If you appreciate choral music, look for a chance to attend a concert. The organization is successful enough to own its own building with superb acoustics, and to have a full-time professional staff. That says a lot in this era of declining interest in the Arts and declining government and foundation support for the Arts Westerly’s a charming town worth a overnight stay or at least getting to the concert early enough to enjoy some local sightseeing and one of the excellent restaurants at all price points.

This 180 voice choir consists of persons from the ages of 8 Through their ’80s. Performing four major concerts each year, their works feature the classical Masters as well as pop music. They also host at least one and sometimes more special guest stars in their own concert each year. Acoustics are wonderful here!

Both the choir and the orchestra were wonderful but the orchestra was way too loud. Whenever they played during Brahm’s Requiem you could not hear the choir well. It covers up many of the beautiful voices. This has happened many times before in their concerts and I have left the same feedback but nothing ever changes. it’s a shame.

Nothing to say

While this is a small thrift shop, there was a nice selection of clothing and other items and the staff was very nice and welcoming!

It’s a tiny thrift shop with everything under the sun at rock bottom prices. The help is very, very friendly and the only drawback are the limited hours of business.

Great thrift shop. Small but you never know what you will find. Friendly volunteer staff and all the money received is donated to scholarships and other local causes

I have been to CCs the last 3 Sundays to watch football.It is avery cool place. the staff is friendly and engaging with customers. the burgers and wings are great. I will be probably watches games the remaining Sundays. Great atmosphere and it is a lot of fun

Rude, and unprofessional

This place is a dump. I came here with a friend and our children b/c we figured it was family friendly for a burger @ lunch. We sat by the pool tables so our 4 and 6 year olds could play. The boys were having a great time playing pass on the pool table with the white ball for 15 mins without issue or injury. The owner came up to my 4 year old son and snatched the white pool ball out of his hand without even acknowledging me or the other mother. She then took it upon herself to discipline our children who have done nothing wrong, without even acknowledging us, the parents, sitting right there next to them! We tried to let a waitress know what had happened and that we were appalled with the behavior of this nasty old woman… she said, “Sorry there’s nothing I can do that’s the owner.” Instead of the owner acknowledging that she had done something wrong and should never have even approached our young children without addressing the parents first, she grabbed her stuff and walked out the door without even an apology. We paid for our drinks and left and decided that we are not paying our hard-earned money to go to an establishment that is so poorly run. Worst customer service ever. If you have kids, do not come here or you will be disrespected by the dried up owner!

This place has gone downhill in the last few years. This was always a go-to, friendly staff good food…. I’ve visited a few times, and every time I remember why I hadn’t been coming, the staff hasn’t been friendly in years, bartenders have verbalized being annoyed they had customerscause they could close making you feel as if hurry tf up and get out! The owner, worse than any employee, forget “Nepoleon” he’s just tuned into a very unfriendly bitter person!! It’s a shame cause this is a staple in our town and was always a fun place to go!!

Great food

We first discovered this gem last summer and met the owner.
The restaurant was not open at the time, but we were able to order take out recently on two separate occasions. For each, we were impressed by the quality, portion size and friendly, personal service. The owner made us feel like he was preparing and serving us a private dinner, and even made recommendations for pairings and which dishes would enhance other ones. On a side note, the Cuban sandwich was unlike any other I’ve had and was HUGE!
We like supporting local restaurants with outstanding food, served by hard working, customer-friendly staff who are eager to please.
You will not be disappointed with Casa Padron!

I arrived when they opened which was on time and prompt. (Also, the only store in the area that opens this early! LIFE SAVER!) The woman there was EXTREMELY knowledgeable on all the equipment in the store. She knew exactly what I needed and when she didn’t have a full 10 pack of reeds, she made one for me. The prices were fair and I had the option of purchasing pre-owned items at a lower rate! She also had a little dog that she let my younger son pet while we were there. As we were leaving, someone was coming to bring in their unused instruments for the buy back program. Polite, fast transaction, educated, and helpful. Parking was directly in front of the building, easy in, easy out. I will be returning here for all my kids instrumental needs!

Terrible customer service. Took my flute to get repaired and instead of just simply fixing what needed to be done to it I was told I shouldn’t have bought an off brand flute. This was all I could afford at the time (as a teenager). I am looking to invest in a new one but honestly it is no ones job to criticize the instrument I have. I waited for the repair to be done and called 3 different times on it. The repair person got sick which is understandable. When I called the last time they said it was finished and I asked why they never called me to let me know they said that I said I was going to come in regardless. Which is true. But still does not explain why no one called me. Overall a bad experience. Was treated very poorly and will not be going there again.

Absolutely awful owners were nasty and they charged way too much for a simple repair just go to music and arts its easier and cheaper
