The staff is really friendly, I got my first guitar from this place!
Good service good quality
Went in to get some new strings. They had good options and had what I needed. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Thanks
Friendly staff. Went to try and sell a guitar to them. They were thorough with their assessment and unfortunately would not buy the guitar from me. What set the experience apart was the superior customer service with th explanation as to why.
Lots of great items for sale at this location. Definitely going to come back.
I’ve never had a bad experience at this place. Always very helpful and usually if I’m looking around they’ll ask me a few times if I need help with anything and even ask me when I come in the door. Going back today because unfortunately the clip that came with the condenser mic I bought didn’t fit my boom stand. Might buy a Gretsch I saw the other day. Over all, great place for musicians, it is my candy store.
I’m a musician and I can find everything I need here
I will never go back to this place. Rude employee.
should have went to a different salesman. Offered the guy a favorable trade for them and he wouldn’t take it. Should have dealt with the manager instead.
will never go back

Address: 7717 N University St STE A, Peoria, IL 61614 , Peoria County , Illinois , United States
Not generic definitely old school and they pretty much have everything that you ever need. They have modern tablet stands and all that but they have the old-school touch which is rare.
Don has been a mainstay in the Peoria music scene for over 40 years.
Great teachers
Gd selection
3. Flores Music
Address: 3831 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria, IL 61614 , Peoria County , Illinois , United States
This is my go to shop for anything music related, especially guitar stuff. I’ve been taking guitar lessons here for a year and a bit from Danny Greuter, and I’m having the time of my life. All of the staff are awesome and friendly, very ready to stop and help you or just chat. I love spending time in here playing guitars and trying out amps. I will shop here almost exclusively unless I leave Peoria, and even then I might come back just to shop here. I highly recommend them for a new instrument, or for repair work.
Been going to these folks for all my music gear and questions to be answered concerning the like for over 20 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Great, kind, and knowledgeable staff. Also feel the reward of supporting your community by shopping local! Flores for life!!!
They replaced all of my guitar strings so I looked around the store in the meantime. All of the employees were so nice and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.
Pros: I just moved here and was told by a guitar center employee that Flores music down the road has the best guy around to diagnose a problem I have with my very expensive guitar. Three shops had tried and failed at this point. I wish I could remember the technicians name; it started with a “j” I know, he takes one look at the guitar and checks a couple things. He then tells me that the problem is easily fixed. I tell him I’ve heard that before. But while I waited he fixed the buzzing problem and even corrected a couple other things that were bad. I’ve never had a guitar play this well ever! The con is when I was done thanking the savior of my taylor guitar a man from the store got mad at me for peeking my head in the shop to talk to the technician who I am trusting with my guitar. Sorry Flores music for bothering you with my business. Great repairs and lousy customer relations.
It was awesome na Kevin Gray Is such a good drum teacher
Nice music store.
Last year my son was supposed to be getting a pretty nice Fender Telecaster, which they said would be held on to for us until we saved up enough money for it. However, they ended up selling it to someone else. I will never step foot in this store again.
When I was unhappy with the 5th string banjo capo they sold me, they didn’t offer any kind of refund or even a discount on a new installation. Instead, they reacted in what I thought was a rude and unhelpful manner. Come on people… this is customer service 101!
Don’t buy anything from them, nobody there competent enough to know what they are selling
4. Flores Guitar House
Address: 6307 N Post Oak Rd, Peoria, IL 61615 , Peoria County , Illinois , United States
Always a good variety of music. Helpful staff. Good gift items also
The best place around to get your musical instruments repaired
They have a good facility, a wide variety of merchandise, and a good staff. Found what I needed and was assisted by multiple friendly people.
Friendly and helpful staff!
Friendly staff and had just what I was looking for
The store is pretty good. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to help you find what you are looking for, whether it’s sheet music, instruments, or accessories. They also offer lessons with some great teachers.
Have issues taking money off cards don’t say why just say sorry we can’t help
A delightful trio playing and singing songs which are familiar to those of us with at least a touch of gray hair.
A wonderful Sunday afternoon with 3 talented musicians, playing the songs I grew to love growing up. Great variety, excellent harmonies, gifted players. Waited too long to see them. I’ll definitely keep track of when they are performing next. Thanks, guys.
I bought an Artist Yamaha C6 Concert Grand from currrent Piano Network owners Matt & Larry Waldhoff, which I love and still play every weekend at the Possum Trot Supper Club Danville, Il. I purchased it about 20 years ago when they were with Samuels. Fortunately they asked me over 2 years ago to help represent Piano Network a great new store in Champaign. I am proud to work for them,Yamaha, Allen Organs, and represent and offer these World Class instruments.
I purchased a Yamaha NU1 2 years ago at the Piano Network and was given an incredible deal! I had a really good experience!
Recently bought a old and rather battered piano from the section of the store way in the back (hah). I love the thing! I felt it was a great deal and the gentleman that sold it to me was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Delivery was a cinch–they were willing to coordinate schedules with me with no problems at all. My daughter and I couldn’t be happier.
9. Younger Than Yesterday
Address: 2615 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604 , Peoria County , Illinois , United States
Fantastc store! RSD 2020 was great and I got what I wanted!
I went into Younger than Yesterday having total ignorance of vinyl. I simply needed a few records for an electrical engineering project, and the staff helped me through every step of the way. They even gave me advice for how to do my project. Great store, great atmosphere, great people.
Friendly and knowledgeable service
My only complaint is that their new vinyl is very overpriced. Great selection of used stuff though.
If you want to be surrounded with enough vinal to side your house this is the place. They got it all, seriously they got it all. If you love music, you’ll love this place.
Great selection at a fair price!
Good selection of records. Giving two stars because was on the gander for a nice Outkast record & the owner says he doesn’t carry hip hop records to “keep those type of people out”. Very gross & tasteless comment.
Never will return. Had records out on the floor that evidently weren’t for sale yet??? had no interest in helping me and then when he did was a total jerk. Unbelievable.
