This is THE place if you’re looking to escape city life and find peaceful, inspiring vibes to fuel your next recording. Erik’s studio is set up in such a way that you forget about time and outside pressures and just get lost in the passion of making music. Erik is not only an amazing touring drummer, but also a multi instrumentalist/producer/engineer with a great ear for tone and arrangements. Wether it’s a singer-songwriter or full band, his studio has all you need to track your next record, and with the added bonus of being located in the middle of a beautiful little mountain town with lots of hiking trails and scenic views just outside the door. Highly recommended!
Had a great day with Erik doin overdubs for my upcoming singles!
Low stress, comfortable environment. Very inspiring views in order to produce a product I am genuinely proud of.
When you are there, your needs are met, and you’re a captive audience, and your lucky to be there. A great place to be. Wonderful management and people.
It is more expensive than a chain grocery store, but for a rural store in the woods they have almost all you need.
Good general store, opens at 6 am. Good selection of wine and beer. Awesome breakfast burritos and sandwiches made to order. Delicious on the trail!
Ok.. of a quick bite to eat..
The store is the only store in the area and is in a great location. Due to the fact it is the only store it is very expensive. The store is clean and put together nicely. It is a bit small but can’t expect much more because it is a general store. Employees are always friendly!
This is the only General Store in PMC so what choice do we have? Only shop here when absolutely need something.
Expensive
Dont mine paying extra but not 200/300 % more. I heard Locals shop off the hill for real savings. Its used for convenience in case you forgot something other than that you better be rich. Staff nice
Extremely overpriced. People living in Pine Mountain Club must travel over an hour to a grocery store with competitive prices. That is how far we must be willing to travel in order to buy groceries at affordable prices. PMC General exploits this to an extreme.
PMC General is a small privately owned store. They can do business anyway they wish!- That is their right. But that doesn’t mean that they are liked by the community who go out of their way not to shop there because they feel raped at the cash register. People go there out of desperation. It is not a “feel good place”.
PMC General could easily, affordably expand into a full service store. The residents would be stupid not to shop there and support them if it was a fair exchange. No one wants to drive 1.5 hours to buy groceries that melt in the car! We would have a happier community as well as more local employment. Win-win all the way! It’s time to get with the program and have a community that works together.
6. Bear Claw Bakery
Address: 16215 Askin Dr, Pine Mountain Club, CA 93222 , Pine Mountain Club , California , United States
Had a live band that was awesome. Got the strawberry smoothie and was refreshing. Love this place. So homey.
It is a must to go here the people are extremely kind and the pastries are amazing especially their bear claws
We were visiting the area and had a good experience here. We actually
came back twice. It is a family owned bakery with great coffee, food, and service. Gracias George!
Owners are very nice and friendly. Only place in town at 8 am to get something to eat.
The Bear Claws and croissants are quite delicious. I always love eating the spinach croissant when I visit on weekends.
Delicious! The bear claw is my favorite by far. Their pies are soooooo good as well. Cinnamon rolls are big and tasty. But if your not out for something sweet then the croissant are worth stopping in for. I personally love the spinach croissant.
