I get all my music supplies here and have been for years. Right in the middle of Fillmore, CA. They also offer music lessons for people of all ages. The music instructors are great and always make me feel welcome when time for my music lesson. Fillmore’s only music supply store! Thanks for being there guys!
Love them they work amazingly with my daughter very friendly an helping
I bring my kids here all of the time, they were both born with a love for music and when they come here its like they’re in Disneyland. I enjoy bringing them here but however the prices are very high.

Jen and Maria are awesome. Just purchased a Alto Sax from Jen. She’s extremely knowledgeable about Saxophones. I brought my Tenor Sax in for some very minor maint and I am totally impressed with this store and wound up purchasing a Beautiful brand new Alto Sax at a great price. Will defiantly will be doing some lessons with Jennifer. She Rocks !!!! Maria thank you so much for helping my wife with her Cello and she will be coming in for some Ukulele lessons. YOU GUYS ROCK !!! thank you.
Gary and Carolyn D.
This is the place to go if you want saxophone mouth pieces. I mean the owner of this shop is an absolute craftsperson. I stumbled on this place looking for a diatonic harmonica, selection there wasnt exceptional but if brass is your git down, go guit it. Dig?
Music Music was fabulous today selling me a Ukulele. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to patiently explain all the nuances and go through each item I was interested in.

Updated: I took flute lessons from Jen a few years ago and was very pleased. She is also very knowledgeable about the variety of wind and string instruments she has for sale, and she builds custom mouthpieces for saxes. The only caveat is the hours listed on various websites. Music Music is open for appointments only, so call before you go in! I had a sticky pad on my soprano sax and took it to the store without calling. There was a hand-lettered note on the door saying that the store hours had changed.
It is an okay store and it meets most of your instrumental needs, but the service and the quality of some of their instruments is questionable as many of them are not claimed by any of the major instrument vendors such as Yamaha or King.
No where on the site did I see “by appointment only”. After researching all music stores near me, I thought this was the best one. Drove 20 minutes and pull up to the store to find they are closed with a sign stating “by appointment only”. I called twice and left a voicemail. No calls returned. I will be utilizing the other name brand stores now.

This place is really cool. They allow you to practice, they have lessons for singing, drums, guitar etc. The drum teacher Ken is super awesome and the owner is awesome too
Always super nice whenever I go in there even if it’s only for guitar pics Definitely will try them first next time I make an instrument purchase
rob the owner is such a nice dude- always there to help and great attitude. loves having loud bands and loves making people happy!
Great vibes
Great equipment
GO TO STAGE ONE MUSIC!
Great place! Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The studios are relaxed and well stocked.
Nice shop with lots of instruments. They have a lot of studios for learning all different instruments
Customer services sucks when people doesn’t speak fluent English. It seems that they discriminate against those who do not speak English well.
I tuck my doughter to this place to look for some piano or keybord classes for her, we notices that somone was playing drums, my doughter was so happy and motivated that we wanted to see them playing through the window
I was so ready to sing my doughter for music classes when this worker an old men was so rude mith us it seems that he didnt like us there, he even told me that he did not wanted us to disturb a class looking through the window
After i told him i was lookin for some music classes for my doughter and we wanted to see how they was playing the drums so maybe would like to play drums too
At this moment he notice that we actualy wanted to buy something from him, he changed his attitude he even ofer us to look through the window and see them playing
I was very upset because it was what we wanted from the very biginning and he was a jerk with us
I told him that i was not longer interest in buying anything from him and i would find a bettervplace to take my kid and we left…
Definitely was an awful experience
I do not recomend this place at all..
Low budget, not professional like other music schools here In many aspect cannot be trusted. Not a good music school I have to drive out of Simi for a good quality lesson is way worth it.

Excellent guitar service and repair! The staff is highly knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I have had both minor adjustments and full setups done on my guitars here and both were treated with equal care and attention. A great store and resource for beginners and experts alike. They offer a nice, personal alternative to the generic big box music store experience.
Irina and Jeff Cassady have been customers since the opening and re-branding of the store. The staff have always been courteous and helpful at every turn. I was disappointed to read Alex C’s review of the anniversary event. I found the event to be bustling, happy and invigorating. To the contrary, I will never take my instruments anywhere else for my setups. Staff is always courteous, kind, helpful, efficient and qualitatively excellent. And I will always direct any student I encounter who is interested in music studies to go to Impulse. I am a loyal and happy patron.
I was literally at Guitar Center and not happy with the selection of guitar bags for my son. I did a Google search, found these guys. I called to make sure they had bags. Someone answered quickly and confirmed range of options and prices from memory. I left guitar center and when I entered Impulse a young man immediately recognized my voice and asked if we had spoken just a few minutes ago. Brandon was super professional, helpful and efficient. I’m usually a fan of supporting the little guy, in this case, it was a no brainier. Looking forward to checking out their web site with the boy to see which guitar instructor might the be best fit for lessons. Highly recommended!!!
Great shop!
Poor selection of sheet music for the piano. Staff would not take the time to recommend something. He pointed to the sheet music and disappeared.
First, I want to start by saying I enjoy this store and congratulate them on their newest accolade of top 100 stores. Everything you could possibly need in a guitar store plus more!!
Heres where my issue comes in to play.
I want to preface this with I am still a beginner to guitar only on my 4th year of playing. That being noted I am not always the most knowledgeable on things
I went to get my Stratocaster tremelo bridge floated. When I asked politely if he could float it, the owner responded with and im paraphrasing “Stratocasters have been made this way since the 1960’s and they never have once changed. Sorry”
It came off very condescending and arrogant, and ultimately turned out to be incorrect information. As I went to another store about an hour away to get the same thing done, after reading an article written by Leo Fender detailing his regret of not floating the tremolo bridge out of factory and a hundred videos on how to do so!
I love the store and the events that are thrown surrounding the importance of the community, but now am choosing to avoid it because of said encounter!
Dude at the desk was rude and told me not to touch anything because he had to disinfect stuff. It’s a music store, I wanna hear instruments. I Will not buy from this store.

Come and see all that is offered at Music Freqs – the vibe there is amazing. The instructors teach music, yes…but also build the confidence of the kids they work with. The performance/venue space gives the students a real concert experience.
So impressed!
Came in to check out some amps not intending on buying the same day but they were still extremely nice and genuine, encouraged me to try anything I wanted and was extremely helpful
Such an amazing place to check out if you’re a fan of music. They have everything you need to get started in music production. The shows they put on next door are a bonus.
Very helpful and patient. No pressure tactics. I found they ask a lot of good questions and give good advice. I wish I had found this store sooner. I probably would have made some different purchase decisions that would have made learning easier.
Always weird how music store employees have that vaguely condescending tone and actively convince you to use big box stores, and this place does not disappoint in that regard. Don’t misname a part, they will refuse to listen to you after that. Being stared at isn’t cool, and it’s off-putting from someone you are looking to give money to, when combined with the tone it just made the experience one I’m not going to repeat.
