My son rented a half cello for over a year and it has worked out well. Manager is friendly and knowledgeable and we’re happy with the convenience and the selections. Equipment is covered by insurance and readjustments and tuning is included.
The owner took the time to answer questions & share his wealth of experience with a newbie.
We’ve had a great experience here, renting an advanced level cello, and having bow re-haired. We just purchased a full-size cello for our son and applied the rental credit. The business owner Bill is professional and very knowledgeable for string instruments. He is also a well known instrument maker and makes and repairs the violins and cellos he rents and sells. I recommend SchwÄn Violins for rentals, repairs, and for quality and well priced instruments.
Not a good experience, after renting the instrument for 4+ years.
Owner is very knowledgeable and fair priced. Good support and service
Great experience getting a not so great violin I owned, fixed to hold tune. I was a newbie! However, after interacting with the owner, I found he knows what he is doing and furthermore, does it well. Highly recommended.
terrible schwan gives you cheap violins for 3 times the price you get in dannville music
then he charges yo 700 hundred dollars for breaking an already broken down violin and still charges you i hate you schwn

Great variety of custom, modern, classical and exotic instruments. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service.
Awesome customer experience, bought a professional Piano from here and couple other music instruments. Great and knowledgeable staff
Amazing service
I’m super happy I found a rental instrument/ music shop in Pleasanton. It’s a cute mom and pop store. It’s a pretty popular place for locals and parents who wanna rent instruments for their kids. It gets pretty busy.. so be prepared to wait for help from someone, esp when it’s school season. The location is convenient. There’s music lessons here as well.
Zero star. I was there with my child. I believe it’s the owner’s son that I spoke with. Pure sarcasm. Was very sarcastic towards me in-front of another customer. Staff was much more respectful and responsive in answering to our inquiries. He could just answered us properly instead he was very rude.
I thought this place was better around this area. Now I found out that they are very greedy. I rented a flute for the whole school year. As the school ends, I returned on the same day when my billing cycle starts. Spoke to the owner who answered my phone as well. Apparently, I was auto charged around 5:30am in the morning but I returned the instrument at 3pm. Though they got the instrument back, he told me that he won’t refund for the fact that I was late for few hours and still charged for the whole month. It doesn’t sound fair to me at all. I would think twice before I go to this store again.
We have been standing in line for at least 15-20 mins. The guy behind the counter is talking and chatting about when he was in high school, showing the customer different damaged violins, and literally taking forever. I can tell that the gentlemen behind the counter are super friendly and customer oriented, but there is a long line. We have all been waiting forever!!!
My friend recommended the studio to me when my girl was little and she had the idea to learn piano. We have stayed with the studio for 5 years. Every year the studio holds 2 recitals. They are really good chances for kids to self-present and learn from others.
The studio owner Rimma is a nice and responsible teacher. She spends time to review the practice recording I take daily and point out the weak parts for my daughter to improve. Rimma is also patient and try to encourage the kid instead of pushing too much when my girl is in low mood.
My daughter is doing the level 5 test. Thanks for Rimma’s great time organizing for the kid to improve every required parts in limited time.
Highly recommend this studio to the kids who want to learn music instruments.
A friendly and responsible musical school with multiple professional teachers that allow students find a right teacher based on their different personalities and learning styles. Both of my two girls learned/is learning piano at this school as long as eight years and I’ve never thought of changing a school for them.
We know the music studio owner Ms. Rimma for a very long time and they have been serving in the Tri- Valley area. My 2 kids started at Radayeva Studio since they are at very young age. The teachers are very experienced and top-notch, they focus on technique and are passionate about music. Ms. Rimma is a fantastic lady and she cares so much about her students and their success. Both my kids completed level 10 MTAC exam ahead of the schedule and are qualified to perform in the conventional and honorable mention recitals. They are very encouraging and prepared your kids to build confidence to perform on the stage. I highly recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for professional teaching for their children.
