We were here visiting and had had a long day and we just wanted to relax and have a drink so we stopped in. We met Bobby, and she made us two great drinks. She’s very friendly and there’s pool and karaoke and she was also willing to answer our questions about the local area. I recommend for a good drink.
Great people! Will definitely be back again!
Local bar.
A good place to meet friends and family
Pretty nice place only place to go in the town besides bus stop
Bobbi is the bartender/owner. Most of the time a 12oz Coors original is $2 usually, and on sum days they can be $4 each, it Also depends on who is working. Bobbi is rude to her costumers, from my experience. the last 4 out of 5 visits she has been rude and also overcharged when I used debit card.
Don’t dare buy anyone or the house a drink. They think it’s disrespectful. Spend $200 just having fun and buying ppl drinks…was treated rudely by staff and locals. Btw I live 15 miles away. Will not return ever.

Real friendly place ! Will go there for all my music needs !
Didn’t have what I needed but great people.
The quality of service that I receive here is amazing! I don’t often need audio equipment, but when I do, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.
Just short visit. Looking for a smaller guitar ( accoustic). Found several. Nice selection. Staff very helpful.
Nice folks. Small selection.
Large music store with what appears to be very knowledgeable staff. I have an old guitar that needed some attention. They were very honest in telling me the cost to repair it was not worth it. I would be better off buying a new or a newer used guitar. But they also didn’t pressure me into buying one the same day I was there. One of the guys did adjust the truss rod slightly but this guitar needs much more work than simple adjustments. I’d recommend them for an honest evaluation if you an instrument that needs setup properly.
Bad experience
Two people there. One was great and full of advice the other made us feel like we had no business being there because we weren’t master musicians. I will take my business and money elsewhere.
My nephew wanted a simple stater pack with guitar and amp, etc. Called Burt’s and they said they don’t ever have them and hung up.

This place is amazing. It’s mostly amazing because of the manager running it, Terry. He is beyond helpful. He is super knowledgeable and is capable of helping three people at once without skipping a heart beat of a good answer.
We went in with a “toy” guitar and came out with a real good one for my son. He did take care of our cheaper one which had metal strings instead of vinyl which the cheaper guitar was made for, for free.
The store itself is fun to go through and has plenty of choices for guitars; not so much for drums, but they do have drum sets.
We even ended up buying a new keyboard to replace the piano we just sold. We felt confident with his recommendation.
Over all , we were super happy to work with someone so knowledgeable and helpful. Terry and his store are a great resource to have here in Post Falls. We’re lucky.
I had such a great experience coming to discount music supply. The staff is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me as a beginner with little musical knowledge. I would definitely recommend!
This is the soul of music place…
awesome place to pick up some guitar strings, drum head or whatever you need at a fair price. Plus they price match internet prices..
Needed strings. Good selection. Manager willing to help find anything you may need.
It’s really too bad these geniuses have the most ridiculous hours of operation. Tried to explain to their feeble minds that people that can afford to spend money on musical instruments are WORKING for a living. Nobody is going to take time off of work to go shop at this place. Open at a decent hour and I’ll shop there. In the last 4 1/2 years, I’ve spent approx. $5,000.00 ELSEWHERE as a direct result of their terrible hours. This I must say is regrettable as I would much prefer to keep the money here in Post Falls. Note: I’ve heard these jokers complaining that sales are very poor at that store. No wonder.
I am on tour with my band, and I am in dire need of some new sticks. We call the store around 5:30 pm to ask them when they close. They close at 6pm and we tell them we are on our way right then. Get there at 5:45 pm and they are closed. I mean, no one there, they counted out, gone. I know many musicians who tour around the area often and I have told them to NOT go to this store. Go to Burts.
I made the drive out here from spokane based on reviews I thought it would be worth it to check it out. I got there at 3:44 and it was closed. I understand it’s in a sort of secret place but if you’re gonna close early you should maybe close around half an hour early rather than nearly an hour and a half early.

Came in for some minor electronics repair. Staff was friendly and I could tell they have a passion for what they do. Excellent experience!
Awesome shop!! Great people.
I have a gifted guitar for my birthday and I just wanted to say, ThankYou it sounds amazing and good tone. Great practice guitar too great for jamming, I also bought an few percussion accessories, an also drum sticks which is worth it for the good quality they are still lasting, and good service. Amazing shop to visit when looking for good Priced instruments or learning the names of instruments.
Scott did a great job repairing the neck and frets on my strat. Friendly, knowledgeable, and honest service. This is a well stocked music store for any musician.
Family owned and ran by father daughter, won’t help you if you have cheap guitar and, supper opinionated about Taylor’s. Wish it could be cooler but does not pass vibe check.
Met with a deaf, unfriendly, inhospitable musician. Prices are not marked and not open to add to the local music scene. Go elsewhere imo.
I recently bought a guitar and case and spent a good chunk of money. When I got home I was looking at the invoice and noticed they snuck in 3% fee on top of the 7% in taxes! This fee was for not paying in cash. The invoice said there is a 3% charge for debit or credit. This was an extra $20.46 that they did not tell me about. If I had known this, I would have paid cash. I was so excited about my new guitar I didn’t check the invoice before leaving. Plus, who does that! It reminds me of sleazy car dealership tactics to pad their profit hoping you don’t notice. It really surprised me they get away with this in such a small town. I will be going to Couer d’Alene for my guitar needs now. And like another post said, the vibe there is not good.
