Great store and awesome owner. Found some classic records among other treasures!
Such a fun pleasant shop!
Love this place and the owner, Sue – so cool! 🙂
Decent collection of clothes, boots and some household items.
Cool shop.
It looks nice on the outside. Then you go inside, and it is cluttered and dark. It should be labeled a thrift store the quality of clothing is used and over priced. And on top of that the woman was not nice and she was disrespectful and jug mental. I wouldn’t spend my money here! So sad… Apparently she is cooler than me
Owner is mental and should not be running a store. Blew up at my friend randomly in a conversation. Made it super uncomfortable and the store was very crowded and overpriced.
Sue seems to be mentally challenged as she had a breakdown and shouted at some customers while my boyfriend and I were shopping. We were concerned for our safety and left quickly.

So glad we finally got a shop in portola. I love the atmosphere and people. And the glass work they keep in stock is incredible. High quality products and service!
The employees that run the store are awesome. They are always nice & willing to help all of their customers with a smile & in a good mood.
Best selections best prices hands down great services friendly environment
Great place
Went in to buy some kratom. The price was 4 times higher than I’ve seen anywhere. Greed mode to the max. I won’t be returning.

I love shopping at this thrift shop! Great prices and great staff.
Well organized, friendly staff, very reasonable prices and nice selection despite being fairly isolated. Lots of children’s items, housewares, men and women’s clothing, good book choices, craft supplies galore, and some furniture. Would recommend going even as a tourist.
Small but you can find high quality items here at a great price. Volunteers are very friendly and helpful. A great place to support.
Friendly, but not a lot of selection.
Great prices
Volunteer behind the cash register loudly used profanity talking to a buddy. Very off-putting. Otherwise great shop!!!

Great stop for travelers or locals that want healthier options. Found some of our favorite snacks and some premade organic salads. Would love it if they had a filtered water station to fill our water bottles.

great food, great service, and the waitress Eva was so nice!
Hands down….Best Mexican food in Plumas County!
Loved the enchiladas
Parking: Easy off street parking
I loved the pork enchiladas and refried beans
Very welcoming! Good food, good service
Usually a really good place dont know if they re-staffed the place after remodel but got a chkn cali burrito tonight and was nothing but cheese sauce and a few fries and like 3 pieces of chkn.
Good food! Rude waitress. Same waitress all 3 times.
The waitress (owner) doesn’t write down your order which is fine however when she brings your bill there is just a total to pay. Two times our bill has been more than what we ordered. You need task for a receipt with everything written down so you know you are paying the correct price.
10. Portola Pool

This was a sweet little wine tasting bar. The couple who owns it is knowledgeable and attentive and the wife stepped up on an outdoor stage and sang some lovely live music. It made for a fun afternoon with good company and some tasty wines. I did the reds…. Loved the Zinn, Franc and Cab.
A great spot to stop for a quiet hour alone or a visit with the special ones in my life …always a new wine to try and great hosts!
Wonderful wine tasting experience definitely enjoy this while you’re in Graeagle, CA
It’s a great little bar in the town of graeagle. Good place to have a cigar and kick back and listen to the band on the 4th of July weekend. 🙂
What a hidden gem. This place reminds me of a campground for adults. Music, campfire and great wine and beer. Now, this is not a restaurant, so make sure to eat first and / or bring something special to cook on the outside BBQ.
Wheelchair accessibility: Sure
BYO marshmallows. Nice fire pit and great atmosphere. Advertised as beer, wine and cigars, but they only had a limited beer selection that was kind of disappointing. The inside area smelled of cigars, so we avoided sitting inside. We had a drink and likely won’t be back unless there’s music or some other reason to go back.
Came here for a drink – kept to ourselves. We’re Latinas, spoke Spanish the entire time, and the ambiance felt off but we didn’t entirely know why. Truck outside confirmed our suspicions. Didn’t appreciate the subtle racism. If you’re a person of color, maybe steer clear.
Update: The owner’s response of “I’m sorry you felt bad” lacks accountability and places the onus on the individual calling attention to the issue. A recommitment to inclusion and awareness would have been a better route. Our comment stands.
