Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If they don’t have what you are looking for they will help you find it. We have gotten many musical items from this store including a piano, keyboard, sheet music and much more. They also have rental equipment if that is what you are looking for.
Original review was a complaint at one store. After contacting management/owner, they replied promply and went above and beyond to fix the problem, Kurt went above and beyond just fixing the problem. I will definitely be back.

I was looking at a guitar here that I was in love with and was going to buy that day and the salesman pulled it from my hands and said “if your not going to buy it, I’m going to sell it to someone else.” After I just finished telling him I’m going to buy it. Very terrible service. Rude workers
Went in with my wife, both of us had $$$ to spend. We were never acknowledged, they were to busy ripping some kid off on a banjo. I’ll never shop here again…
Do not go there unless you want to be treated poorly and talked down too. The guy (Mike?) kept trying to tell me that my problem was not a real one and he had never heard of that problem before even though he is not proficient in any way in that instrument. He also told me that it must be a cheap instrument if I have that kind of nonexistent problem. I told him I am renting from them and he goes, “oh, I guess we have to make it work right.” When he was able to get the stuck part to move he said, “I don’t see any problem.”he is a lot stronger than me. Curtis is great though.
I travel to Pocatello from Boise for the sole reason to go to Main St Music, The always have a good selection and everyone is always friendly. My guess is the people who complain about this store on the web are other local people who sell music gear. I will keep going there as long as I have a need for great music gear. CODY

My wife got me my guitar from this place last December. It’s a great place with an awesome selection of instruments.
You know I really like this place! Fancy lights and shelves, no. But very helpful people and a unique selection of instruments at surprisingly competitive prices!!! They went above and beyond to get me a piano book. This IS where I try to take my business!

Has a lot of good music stuff, but it is kind of crammed into a small store.
So it’s a toss-up I mean I went in and bought a brand new piece of equipment and a used piece of equipment the same time so far the turntable turned out to be professional and nice course it was brand new it’s what I would expect from Stanton music. And then there’s the factor of the didn’t work it shouldn’t have been on the shelf so if you’re going to buy for main Street music taking electronics professional in with you or music specialist in with you and make sure that your purchases sound otherwise only buy new.

I’ve been going to this place for stuff like picks and strings for a long time the service is always awesome and the people are always very friendly. There’s one in both Pocatello and Idaho falls, and they are equally good.

I try to buy all of my records here. The staff is extremely helpful & friendly. I have used their video transfer services also, which are second to none. Pocatello is lucky to have Budget.

Very retro place to find older movies that aren’t on Netflix, it also a good place to find vinyl records. The guy who runs the store is quite nice. Give this place all look if you are hunting down old films

Larissa played her violin at my wedding and it was one of the best choices we made the entire day. She is able to set the tone for whatever function you are looking for a musician to play at. Her playlist is expansive and she has a large variety of music for any event! She is not only professional, but also incredibly talented!

My husband and I hired Alexa and Dan for our Wedding in September of this year and it was the best decision we made.
I can’t say enough about how truly amazing they were and continue to be for us.
Alexa has such an incredible voice, heart, and soul. Our guests absolutely LOVED her. The live music was everything and more that I could have ever dreamed of. It’s been one month and I still have guests from our wedding raving about how amazing she was and always tell me they’ll remember her name to recommend to their own family and friends.
Dan was also incredible with our dance playlist, accommodating our guests, and organizing our timeline and events. Our wedding ran so smoothly because of him.
I mentioned that my three year old nephew would request “Bad To The Bone” because he’s an inspiring bull rider and that is his favorite song to ride to. Dan not only played it for him when he requested it, he announced him just as you would a bull rider and it made our day even more special.
Out of every single vendor we hired I would hire Alexa and Dan over and over and over again. I’ve been to many wedding with many other live bands and DJ’s well known and not, and in my opinion these two are the best of the best.
They went ABOVE AND BEYOND I know this post isn’t even doing them justice. Just know if you decide to book Alexa or the both of them for whatever event you’re having your guests are going to gush about it, you won’t find anyone better, and on top of them being incredible at what they do you’ll meet two of the best people in our area. You will be smitten just like Brian and I are!

Alexa and Dan were the PERFECT choice for our wedding. Alexa has a beautiful voice and we loved having her preform during different parts of our reception. They were great at keeping the party alive, as well as slowing it down when needed. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had. They helped us throughout the whole process and made us more comfortable dancing in front of the guests. They are great to communicate with and will answer any questions you have. I would 100% recommend them for live music / DJ!

I would never shop at this store, I made the mistake of signing my son up for their rental program which is nothing more than a high interest, high harassment loan scam. These guys are a complete joke. The complete lack of customer service, along with the harassing phone calls, and creepy home visits are enough for me to contact law enforcement. DO NOT give this company your business!
Not thrilled at all with the service of piano,lessons 110.00 a month for a child only,once a week totally outrageous. Piano gallery was way, cheaper and nicer .

I feel like the name on this music store is a little misleading. Should be called “No Limit Piano Co.” … because the electric guitar selection is very limited. Having said that, the acoustic guitar selection is very good and the prices seem to be on par with the national averages for things like Martins, Taylors and even PRS. Lots of pianos and other instruments that are not typically found at a guitar store. Overall, worth a visit. I haven’t bought anything yet but definitely might consider one of the many solid acoustic options.
Decent place for piano recitals.
Formally the Piano Gallery, this place has a very good choice of pianos, stringed instruments, and lots of other stuff. Their selection of upper end guitars and basses is impressive, specifically the Martins and Takaminis that played and sounded really good. And they were set-up pretty nice for good playability.
The store was pretty messy. In addition, both guitar rooms were locked making it difficult to see, touch, or play them (i.e., you have to ask permission). Some music stores do this to minimize scratches/damages from careless/clueless customers. I get that, but minus one star to music stores that uses the ‘lockdown’ method. Still…
Recommended.

I am always excited when I find a place that sells genuine classic Vinyl and this ace did not disappoint. I was able to pick up some great albums for my extensive audio collection. They are very knowledgeable and can help you find what your looking for.

Just recently got into vinyl. Interesting store with an ice cream shop antique shop and lots of vinyl. Vinyl seemed fair priced. Wish they had somewhat newer vinyl on hand but they will still order whatever you want.
Vintage vinyl is a great place if you’re looking for old analog stereo equipment to add to your collection or the old analog sound from digital equipment it’s got a great variety as well as some great classic rock and roll some new age stuff and some hip hop and techno music all in classic vinyl LP’s. if you’re looking for something specific he can also order it for you. This is a top notch grade A, record store, A must visit. you’ll enjoy your experience. I did.
More of a 3.5 stars (upper middle) not much when I went there for selection, but talking to the son of the owner I found out what’s “good” goes real quick. Vinyl is sometimes tough geographicly, some area’s there isn’t as much as there is in others. I will say the shop definitely gives off the vibe it promises in it’s name and the prices were fair for anyone looking to add to their rock and roll record collection.
I guess it’s okay if you have a car. I walk everywhere I go, I carry a cart with me and when I went in a man who was talking to an employee, implied that He thought I was going to shoplift. PLEASE!!!! For one thing I am not so strapped on money I need to shoplift, nor would I sink to such a level, another thing, nothing in you’re store is worth going to jail for. Lol.
Alot of records pretty well organized but the guy was a jerk to me. And wouldn’t help me find the artist I was after hovered around me like I was gonna steal. I’m not going back.

I brought in a bass guitar that needed adjusting/setup. It now feels and plays better than it ever has. I’ve been playing for a long time and this is easily the best setup I’ve had. Super nice guys also.

This is my go to team whenever my guitars, my wife’s violin, or ANY of my family’s instruments, need servicing. They REALLY care about the work that they do, and their expertise shows in every inch of their work. Thank you for always taking care of me! Because of you I can relax and focus on practicing, but let me know if you figure out how to do that for me too!
