Bass and Beyond is an awesome Bass store and I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in serious knowledge about playing Bass and lessons.
The owner “Juan Ortiz” is not only a great Bassist but an awesome guy to interact with and get to know. Make the trip and visit this location, I assure you it’s worth your time especially if you want to know about quality Basses. You won’t be disappointed.

Super helpful an very nice. Even though I’m not very musical they didn’t make me feel ignorant. That were encouraging!
My kid’s instrument needed to be repaired a day before an audition. We called and told them the situation. They told us to bring the instrument in and Taylor would fit us in right away. I drove from Stockton. When I got there sure enough Taylor dropped what he was doing, diagnosed the problem, and fashioned a part to complete the repair in ninety minutes! Taylor went above and beyond.
Awesome place awesome people
Lots and lots and lots of gear here. If you’re looking for anything for orchestra style instruments, they probably have it, Great way to try things on for size. Good, high quality instruments.
Great place to get music lessons and a fun engaging staff
Great locally owned music store. Nice variety of instruments and a good repair shop. Knowledgeable and friendly staff!
I have purchase and rented instruments here before. This time, five different staff said they would help, apparently what I wanted was not in stock and instead of letting me know, all left me waiting. After quite a wait we decided to leave. Someone caught us leaving and took our number to call and figure out how we could get ahold of the instrument. That was over 8 weeks ago, my phone never rang. They’ve lost a loyal customer.
This would be zero stars but a plug is warranted for John Doolittle’s sax lessons at the store of which I availed myself a couple of times. Zero stars involves me taking my alto sax there for repair. It’s over 50 years old but has had some restorative work done; fairly significant when I started playing again regularly about three years ago and more minor work several months ago and again following my unpleasant experience at Tim’s, the former by Kline Music and the latter by The Music Store in Rocklin. The guy at Kline is particularly known for his competence. The purported lead expert on reed instrument repairs at Tim’s told me my Selmer Mark VI needed a $1500 complete overhaul and they wouldn’t touch it for any lesser amount of work. The guy in Rocklin then fixed it for $65 and it plays just fine, as it did before it started acting up shortly before I took it to Tim’s. I played in church today and was complemented on my tone by their music director, who is a school music teacher and fellow owner of a Selmer Mark VI. An instrument in need of complete renovation obviously could not produce such a result. I got a different feel from the store than I did when I took lessons from Doolittle at the old location. Maybe they’ve bitten off more than they can chew financially but they’ve certainly lost my business.
Support this great small business for all the right reasons. Craig does an excellent job, and has some really nice sounding tubes. If you live on the left coast and dig tube amps you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to checkout. Customer service is responsive, shipping fast, tubes are of great quality. A+
The place I go to get my various vacuum tubes for all my guitar amplifier. They have the best inventory in Sacramento. The best prices best inventory.

Buena tienda. Gran variedad de productos a razonable precio.
Went smooth as expected, found everything that I was looking for, took the last corn beef in stock (lucky). Not to much social distancing going on, but it’s Walmart people flock to that place. Employees keeping it clean, stocked and keeping it orderly.
Very poor customer service in the return items department. Was absolutely disappointed with how they’ve treated me. I’m absolutely not going back into this Walmart anymore.
RIDICULOUS!!
3LINES LONG AS ALL GET OUT..
SELF CHECK
AND 2 CASHIER LINES
I WILL NEVER GO BACK
Didn’t have the pool supplies I wanted had to go to target. Place opens at 6 and the deli doesn’t open til 8? WTF? I stood at the deli for 15 minutes before someone helped me unacceptable!

Shane always does awesome work, excellent business, if you know you know!
Shane does outstanding work!! He fixed my Fender 5150 . Originally I thought one of the transformers might have failed because the amp just stopped working all together, zero sound when I turned it on.Leading up to amp failure, the amp had a burning wire plastic type smell. Shane’s a cool guy and knows his $#*♤
Awesome!! Shane is so kind and knowledgeable. Thank you!
Good decent affordable prices for most of your audio & needs custom amps and subs etc new used and more
Had a twin reverb taken there, took almost a month to repair, got it back and it was still having the issue I brought it in for, took it back and he said it was a bad tube (after just recovering it back from him), waiting another week to finally get it back a second time and it still has the extra buzzing issue. So I’ve called him several times and he stops answering returning my calls, I’ve left four different messages and he’s never called back and never answers the phone. He says there’s a warranty on the amps but it’s not good if you can’t get a hold of him….. avoid at all cost

Cheryl & Dominic run a great business and all the people there are very nice, often complementing others for their music. Grounds are clean and it always feels safe.
Me and our band band have been at this place for over a year and we love it; it’s become our second home. The other bands are nice, every interaction with management has been cordial, rent is very reasonable and I feel safe leaving my stuff here. Sound bleed is the same as other places – enough so you don’t hear others when jamming at bedroom levels. It’s a rehearsal studio, not a recording studio so don’t expect absolute quiet. We are a 3 piece metal band and we have enough room for all of our gear even though we picked the smallest size of room; confident we can fit a 5 piece band with enough room for everything. Management is building more rooms on the other side of the building, but everything they do is unobtrusive and not a bother for any of the tenants. The only slight issue that I have is that the fingerprint machine will take a couple tries to recognize who you are, but I guess it’s better to not let people in more often than it DOES let them in I think- better security lol
Listen to Unholy Passion.
Ok place
Pretty good rooms okay service
I drive passed this every day.
Do not!!! I repeat do not give these people your hard earned money! Absolutely terrible customer service and attitude towards their customers . The rooms are over priced compared to other options in Sacramento and you get far less in comparison. The rooms are small and the facility isn’t finished. These are poorly remodeled office rooms that aren’t even sound proofed. Avoid dealing with a terrible staff that will pocket your deposit money after finding whatever reason they can to kick you out.
This place seems to be in its formative stages, but they have bought an old office building and are trying to convert it into practice studios. This will never work on an acoustics level because the ceiling is drop ceiling with styrofoam tiles and little to no insulation. Sound from each office will carry through the ceiling to the entire rest of the building, so no room will ever be soundproof or even close to it. And their pricing chart makes no sense. The rooms are all different sizes, but there are only 3 pricing brackets, whereas it should be priced per square foot. If the room sizes were consistent, then brackets would be sensible, but they’re all different, so their system is off and you would end up overpaying for the smallest room in each bracket. Finally, they want just one name on the contract for a practice space. In reality, most bands I know share practice studios, so really the legal burden needs to fall on every person using the space equally, not just the one dupe whose name is on the rental agreement. Otherwise everyone else could run off and leave that person to foot the bill, or that one person could cancel the agreement without anyone else knowing and the contents of the room could be thrown out or sold (according to the rental agreement I saw). Just a bad system and location.
Its dusgusting there the bathrooms r NASTIER THAN I HAVE EVER EVEN SEEN & OR EXPERIENCED OVER ON MY ENTIRE LIFE. & ITS SO GROSS CLAMMY & SO HOT. THEY NEVER TURN ON THE AC. & THERE’S NO VENTILATION, WINDOWS AT ALL IN THE PLACE SO ITS HOT AND JUST STUFFY AS EVER. Adam is such great tutor. He plays wonderfully and teaches very patiently. I have read the reviews online before I joined the class and I was more than happy I did choose to go-to his class.
He knows what he is teaching. He has deep knowledge. Along with his musical talent he encourages and motivates to learn and do better Everytime.
I took one on one class since I’m a newbie.
Overall a very good experience and I hope to play my first song soon.
Adam is the best! He is patient and kind and an excellent teacher! He is well worth going to!
Adam is an outstanding musician, and also a skilled and patient teacher. I’m so glad my son has had the opportunity to study with him for several years. Adam has even provided him with performance opportunities and recording software advice. If you can get a spot in his teaching schedule, you should take it.

It’s nice to see how well they’ve adapted to providing service for the customers during the pandemic.
Friendly staff and the coffee’s always just right. Thanks guys!
Staff is always super friendly and helpful
Long wait as per usual, but can you be pleasant please, there is too many coffee shops around to be short with customers.
Standard Starbucks.
Clean place
Closed for remodeling 8/15/19
Worst service. Instead of helping. They were to busy talking with someone about their dog. Really two yepping one texting.
They always mess up my drink and have attitude. No customer service skills. All they do is talk to each other and ignore guests. They had me waiting for my drink over 10 minutes and made the wrong one. Waisting my time.

I absolutely hate that their drive thru has a camera on me when I order, but there’s no camera showing me who I am talking to while I order. I also hate how iced tea is $5. If it wasn’t next door to work I would go elsewhere.
My cup was only 75% full!!!
Go to a different location. I understand stress levels are high during the pandemic but when their sign reads “mobile order pickup at the front door” and they have the nerve to shout “no” repeatedly at me for walking to the front door, and refusing to refund or do anything except at the drive thru, it’s just not worth the attitude they all have. It’s easier to go to the fair oaks or Arden location where they actually take valid precautions and will accept walk in orders and bring them out to your car.
