The staff was very attentive and helpful. I found all the things that I needed in this music store for instruments. They gave me suggestions that were right on target.
I didn’t have time to browse the store. They have various instruments for sale as well as accessories. The shop is on one side and on the other side they give music lessons.
Cool music playing.
5. GILKEY PIANO SERVICE (Formerly Cucamonga Music Co)
Address: 8553 San Clemente Dr, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 , Rancho Cucamonga , California , United States
I called Gilkey Piano Service as I was considering purchasing an older acoustic piano that was severely out of tune. I needed pointers, an expert opinion before deciding what was best for my goals. Gilkey stayed on the phone with me for almost 20 minutes and patiently and expertly answered all my questions, knowing that (given my constraints) I would likely proceed with purchasing a digital piano and hence would not need his service. That’s true professional integrity. His expertise also helped me to make the decision that is best for me at this time. Once I can afford an acoustic piano, I will undoubtfully be reaching out to Gilkey Piano Service again.
Thanks so much, Dan! So experienced! I know you already have a great reputation so I really appreciate it. It’s not easy on your wrists, but you’re still kind enough to always give super quality tune-ups!
The best tuner I have had!
The repair was awesome

We get our high school band instruments repaired here and it’s been great! They are always quick, I don’t have to worry about our instruments being taken to a different location and best of all the are honest.
I went to get my instruments fixed, he didn’t right away, fast service, cheap prices, and amazing store. I would highly recommend
This shop is one of a kind! Any artist passing thru or local will find something they love. Sean has the wisdom for your music needs!

The Music Key School is definitely great for the kids who are interested in music.
The school is quite clean and all the teachers are very nice. My daughter has learned here for 1 year and she really loves this amazing place and her piano teacher.
Ms Lily is a very elegant piano teacher. she is really professional and always keeps smiling and be very patient . With her help, my daughter has a great progress here. This school is absolutely recommended!
My daughter has been with her for at least 2 years. Lilly is a good piano teacher. She has patience with kids and her teaching skills is way different from traditional piano teacher. She is compasionate and open to parent’s suggestions. I love her music studio- very cozy. My daughter loves her and she is comfortble every piano lessons.
Lilly was our daughter’s piano and vocal coach. After one year of working together, i can only say that i was so impressed and proud of what was accomplished. She gave our daughter an amazing foundation in music and most of all helped build her confidence. Lilly is very talented in what she does but most importantly she is an amazing person who is passionate and cares about how she teaches. We highly recommend her!
If you want your children to learn piano well, you must not come here. It was a very bad experience. I made many calls and couldn’t get through. The trial class lasted 30 minutes. I didn’t give my child any meaningful and constructive guidance. I just told me that my child’s level is higher than the level of the course they are currently preparing. Buy it for 40$ Come sit there and wait? The service at the front desk is not good. Parents are advised not to come to this institution. It is the worst experience. I guess Google’s ratings are also based on the swipe. It is an extremely bad experience!
I have taken my kids to different music schools as we have been moving quite a bit. But this school is horrible. Totally a waste of time and money!!!
This morning I tried to write a long review but it did not go through.
So I deleted the 4 evidence pictures, anyway to make it short: great teachers (the 2 teachers we had are great), but the management is AWFUL.
As parents, we want our kids to learn happily, but I cannot waste more time and energy on dealing with the business owner that has very POOR management and communication abilities.
Parents/customers do not deserve to be ignored all the time, especially we pay the tuition ahead of time, we need to get the service that we paid for.

Love this store, love the fact that you can try almost anything before buying it
Very clean store!
Knowledgeable staff! Will, in drums, is always helpful and ready to offer assistance, advice and recommendations with years of experience to back it up.
Long story short… no one greeted me, no one helped me, and I felt like no one wanted to check me out. 8/21/23 6pm
Need to screen the used gear they sell a little better ..
Especially before selling it ..
Bought a used alesis mixer ..had to order the power supply from alesis $$

Headed back today to return it and exchange a harbinger speaker ..
I’ve had less than a month
Honestly I’ve never really had a problem here except when they don’t have specific items that I am looking for. Otherwise than that I would recommend musicians to shop here.
Do not go here all the employees have no clue what’s going on manger is very rude and sarcastic.
Went into the Rancho Cucamonga location a few days ago back in the department where they sale Headphones and Mics. I was in search of Sennheiser 660’s. I noticed that they were not on display. I was going to ask the cashier in that area for assistance but he was with another customer. Another female employee jumped on the cashier next to him and didn’t appear to be helping anyone else so I asked her “Are you available for help”? She looked puzzled and confused so I asked again “Are you available for assisting me with finding and Item. Seeming bothered she asked “What is it you are looking for”? I told her the Brand and model of the Headphones and the guy cashier next to her answered for her stating “oh yeah we doing carry those”. I asked her if it was something that I can order. I was told by both of them that if the distribution center was not stocked with the item then I can’t order them. I politely asked if the can check with the distribution center and the guy replied “I already checked and we don’t have them”. As I walked back to my car I realized that they never checked the inventory one time during our conversation. I sat down in the car, went on the Guitar Center website and found the Item that I was looking for and saw that I could have it sent to that Guitar Center in 3 business days unlike what I was told in the store. I still can not understand why they did not want to help me with they Transaction. It was not a busy day and the store was near empty, Maybe I didn’t look like the type of guy that can afford $600 headphones so they didn’t take me serious. Either way the interaction mad me feel bad enough and gaslit enough to leave a review which I almost never do.
made me buy a guitar

The workers there are awesome! Jazz, behind the counter, was especially friendly and accommodating! Great place!
Very clean place to do rehearsal, the staff very professional, if for any reason they don answer, leave a message and they will call you back, so you can make your appointment.
These guys run a nice spot
Good place. Although it’s hit and miss with existing equipment there. Be sure to check before you start to jam. People are cool.
One of the few places you can rent a spacious area to set up and practice your craft. We paid $25 an hour and had a very spacious room well equipped with amplifiers and mic stands at cetera definitely on the recommended list.
Place has really gone down.
Staff not friendly or pleasant, feels like they really dont want to be there.
It used to be decent when Gary was still around, this new dude books our room, but says we never booked it or says it wasn’t him and we have to get a different room even though no one is in the room, no sort of people skills, not even an apology, 3rd time in a row it happens. Unprofessional, bout to find a new spot
You guys are the Best! Concerts are definitely my favorite part because I get so inspired by other performers. I always go home wanting to work harder and practice even more! Thanks for all your support and everything you’ve done for me!
Roger has so much insight into teaching children how to play piano. Kids are fortunate to learn from him. I’m sure RC Music Lessons will also provide high quality guitar lessons, especially for those who are looking for an uplifting environment.
Roger taught both my 5 & 10 year old girls over Google hangouts. What?! I had no idea that was even possible or even more importantly effective. They both LOVED their lessons. Roger was very patient, explained everything simply & really knew how to get them to pay attention while still having fun.
In addition, I’m really glad they had the opportunity to participate in a recital and see others perform. There were even some playing the guitar!

Went here to return an instrument that I had purchased online in lieu of paying return shipping. It was a bit of a drive, but worth it to ensure myself that the instrument got there safely, and probably saved on the difference between the gas money and return shipping. This place is pretty obscure, and I doubt it is meant to be open to the public, as when I spoke to one of the employees, I was informed that it was more of a workshop, and not a retail store, which is what I thought it was originally.
When I entered and a woman came to the front at the sound of the security system chiming, she was a bit taken aback when I explained to her my situation, and could tell that it was not something that they did often. It took some time to sort out some paperwork, but I was in and out within twenty minutes, which may seem long to some, but idk.
Also, some of the employees were getting off of work when I got there, and they all smiled at me as they exited, which was nice.
Another interesting thing to note, though is not of much significance, is that I saw people of every single race of employee walk in and out. I know it’s the twenty-first century, but at one point I saw an elderly asian woman and a young black guy walk in together joking and laughing. It was a bit of an odd sight, but was cool I guess?
I recently bought a Cello from here for right around $220. To my disappointment, when I got it the Cello did not stay in tune, was a bright orange color (unlike the image shown) and when I played it, it sounded like a fancy children’s toy. I would not recommend this to anyone. You are better off buying a nice used one off of craigslist of EBay. I attempted to return it but was not willing to pay $219 plus tax in order to send back the garbage I received.

Awesome store
Big store for music fans and musiquians.

The service was great
over priced! i walked in more then 3 times the other day and there was noone to assist me. one guy grabber away with other customer and no one else in sight. been there in the past and it was better. last time I’ll waste my time going there..
Unprofessional. Charged me three times for my inline order and when I called I was treated like a burden and A GUY name KEITH called me the N word because I asked to speak to a manager then hung up I will not be shopping here again
