I go to Gidgets every year for eclectic Xmas gifts! I love it
Fun shop, found some great records.
Fun store! Must stop for great vinyl selection. Kitschy retro toys, candy, mid century decor, music themed original art. Talk to Steve.
It was a cool little store, record selection wasn’t great but it was decent. Most were overpriced but I’ve come to expect that at record stores. Feel as if you go to record stores to physically crate dig and be able to physically inspect and discover new music rather than buying from online so with that being said, it was a nice little shop. Kids even had fun looking at the goofy stuff. There are also a lot of shops around there for the whole family
I love their retro gifts!
They’ve got the wierdest, coolest stuff. Definitely should check out, tons of knick knacks.
Vacation isn’t a good place to bring politics. This store was obsessed with posting obnoxious messages everywhere with what seemed like the intention of making you feel bad if you disagreed with them. Didn’t end up buying anything when I had walked in intending to. Otherwise a nice store.
Overpriced LP’s for their condition. Even low end, cheap LP’s were about $5.
Prices to high not worth it and some of the records arent in the best of shape and they ask more than what they are worth I know its at the beach but still its not worth it
4. Music & Arts
Address: 17903 Willie Rd, Lewes, DE 19958 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Awesome place. Calum helped me out and I just left with a beautiful new acoustic guitar. If I end up back in the area looking for another instrument or some accessories, I will definitely be stopping by!!!!
Awesome store great staff Avery is the man helped me pick a drum kit for my 3 year who also loves going to our local music and arts keep it up guys you have my business forever
My first visit to this store. I was impressed. Chris was friendly and very helpful. Prices were great. I will be back!
I lot of choices
Nice Store with helpful staff !

5. Browseabout Books
Address: 133 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Great beach book selection…. friendly staff. Can always find a book here!
They have so much to choose from
Browseabout Books is one of my favorite bookstores on the planet. I go there several times during my vacations to Rehoboth Beach.
Perfect and convenient for a quick book or gift.
Browsabout is a long time favorite. It has gone through many evolutions. Lots to choose from and local authors, too!
Love the book store feeling although seems like the touristy stuff is crowding out the books. Isles are small and crowded. The book tour isle headers didn’t seem to match up with what was actually there.
Very disappointing that my favorite store in Rehoboth for 40 years no longer lets patrons use the bathrooms. How are you supposed to “Browseabout” when you are 65 and need to use the bathroom!
Prices were very high, don’t remember them being that high the last time I went.
I went to this store bc it stated it sold used books but what I found was a 3 tier shelf with less than 20 used books. The store is nicely stocked with a variety of books and knick knacks but a little more than you want to spend.
Cool little spot….
Felt like you were watching a radio station production live as a few different artists conversated and played, great interactive entertainment
9. Keyboardamerica.Com
Address: 16373 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Keyboard America is a great gift to the music world. Mike Mixon is the
only teacher in the this country that sells a superior product and continues to support the buyer with lessons and help for the rest of the life of the instrument. Mike knows how to “Keep The Music Playing”
This place is awesome sometimes I just come here to get away from everything.
Mike was great to work with & got a great deal on a digital piano bundle. Shipping was fast & communication was excellent. THANKS!
Since no one in our state stocks arranger keyboards anymore, or can even answer simple questions about them, I called Keyboard America. Mike answered my questions – I was not sure I believed him on all the answers compared to my Clavinova, but after I got my own, his answers turned out to be 100% correct. The Genos I first received had a defect that could not be detected by simply upgrading the software. I called Mike and after some quick diagnostics had Yamaha speak to me directly. To make a long story short, Yamaha said it was manufacturing defect and authorized Mike to replace it within a couple of weeks. The replacement Genos has performed flawlessly and met all my expectations! I originally had trepidations about not being able speak face to face about my purchasing questions and service after the sale if there was a problem. But Mike and Kathy at Keyboard America took the time to answer my questions and get me solutions when needed. I, for one, am glad they there and would have no qualms returning to them should I get the urge for another instrument in the future.
Don’t let the outside deter you. They have a very good selection of digital pianos, and great costumer service. And if no one is there, call the number on the door
They were closed so I didn’t go in but they are a good one stop shop for any piano needs, books, tuning, and teacher recommendations
The owner of this company and his wife are both arrogant, condescending jerks. I would never purchase anything from either of them. Anyone looking for a piano or keyboard should go elsewhere if they want to be treated with respect.
Saw a bad review and thought I could deal because I needed a piano moved in the same town as the shop and only about eight miles away. Well the poor review was exactly right. Twice didn’t get a promised call back, and then while giving information the associate / owner? was not just rude, but very condescending!
When I called another professional, I happened to mention the reason for the last minute call was that I thought Keyboard America was going to handle my move. This professional then proceeded to relay several stories confirming the poor service, dishonesty and outright rudeness of these people.
What a jerk! Sue me. The truth is the best defense.
I went in, Decided to have my own opinion about what I wanted, Got told I was an Idiot, went to B&B, Bought a Roland instead. That is the summary of my HOUR LONG ordeal of his horrible sales pitch of asking me like 3 questions, and then instantly taking me to a $5000 keyboard that looks and sounds absolutely terrible and is the size of a large coffee tableand ontop of that not even let me play it whatsoever to see if I ATLEAST liked the way it felt. I’m telling anyone who thinks of going there GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE.
10. shrewsbury string quartet
Address: 35183 Seaport Loop, Lewes, DE 19958 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Shrewsbury String Quartet played at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding in February 2022, and we were blown away by how beautiful they sounded. We had a Catholic wedding mass, and they worked with the church soloist and organist to play all the songs together. The string quartet added a beautiful touch to the music. We wanted elegant, classical music during cocktail hour and they did an amazing job. Tony is a true professional.
I do not recommend this string quartet at all. I payed around $1000 to have the string quartet play at the ceremony of my wedding. It had been a dream of mine since I was a child. First off, Tony lost my music. He said there was a phishing problem with the server it was on, but he never bothered to check to make sure he had everything. I even contacted him multiple times to make sure he had everything and each time, he said he did. He didn’t. He sent four of his “best” performers to my wedding. They had clearly never practiced or even looked at the music until right when the wedding started. They butchered about half the music, including the song I walked down the isle to, which was emotionally significant to me and my husband. They also butchered the unity ceremony music, which was the “lost” music. When I called Tony and spoke to him about the massive disappointment, he made excuses and did not offer any of my money back. I find it sad that it went so badly especially because I liked Tony as a person. There’s just not enough organization and it very nearly ruined my special day.
I was never a shopper of Walmart, never like the Big Business motives. Boy was I missing out, they have shopping online down to a science. Shipping perfected, low prices Always.
I found it to have good service n as always low prices ..
I went in to purchase a cell phone with a calling plan only to to find out I have the incorrect calling plan. The prices are great but customer service on the floor is hit or miss. Their refund and exchange policy is hassle free but they can’t seem to get it right with the floor staff.
Busy today, pre snow storm, but fairly well stocked. The new self check area made it an “in and out” stop.
Poor inventory. Poor price control
This walmart is straight out of the 90’s…. Good for nostalgia, but it needs a facelift.
very bad customer service. First time there. Was there to change the payment for the item i purchased in another store. The lady at customer service definitely lacks professionalism: she refused to do so! Another guy was behind me asking more associates to help since the line was building up longer and longer. But they didn’t really care! Hope the corporate replaces the store manager(s).
13. Clear Space Theatre Company
Address: 20 Baltimore Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Great little community theatre in Rehoboth Beach. Enjoyed the show.
Great show! Hope they can expand their space like they want to.
The play was good the acting and singing excellent. The room was to hot and the seating to close witch made for a long uncomfortable evening
Kids classes not the best. My granddaughter, age 9, participated in a class last year and does not want to go there this year. She said the woman in charge would yell and reprimand them and picked on one child. My Granddaughter said this child had a disability and thus was slower . This is not a behavior she liked; nor do I.
She will not be attending this year or ever again.
We have enjoyed performances at Clearspace. Yelling at children is not acceptable behavior unless there is a fire.
Went to see Jesus Christ Superstar and was almost in tears. The sound/microphones were so high, that 90% of the lyrics were unintelligible. It was a great disappointment.
14. The Vintage Underground
Address: 205 2nd Street underground, Lewes, DE 19958 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Excellent experience all around! Owner is extremely nice, and they have a great selection with some fantastic new and vintage vinyl records. I highly reccomend you stop by.
Neat place
I’ve been to the record side a few times and have yet to go through all the records they have packed in there. Vinyl prices were a little higher than discogs or ebay, but not too bad for being able to avoid shipping times.
Really enjoyed the uniqueness of this store. Found some awesome stickers for my son’s. and a great vintage shirt..Also reasonablely priced.
Unique place, with unique music classics & a staff with a cense of humor.
Overpriced
15. Game On VGM!
Address: 39 Baltimore Ave Suite 1, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Very friendly, knowledgeable people. You get a lot back on returns as well. Saw no gatekeeping for older games, very willing to share experiences with everyone.
Went in just to see some of the retro games with my son. I left out of that place a customer. I wish you guys the best and i will be back soon. Probably tomorrow. Lol
Absolutely amazing experience. Like walking back through time. Our go to spot for old games and new
Good store on the off-season, but if you come during the summer the selection will be pretty awful.
Nice little store with some retro games. Saw mostly nintendo some atari and some play station games. Cashier was a nice guy
Pretty bad selection for the most part almost no essential games or rare games to be seen mostly sports titles or bargain bin titles prices were a little high for how little the games impressed. Very lacking selections for systems like N64, and other cart based systems. I’m giving them a 2 because even though they had a bad selection on old games this place had really unique PS4 titles that you don’t see many places as well as they were stocked up on consoles decently. This review is more of a critique than an angry review. I want every retro video game store to succeed but it was just very lack luster
16. Rehoboth Beach
Address: 311 N Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Had a great time with our friends down at their house!
We love Rehoboth Beach! ️
Still a nice beach for family.
Very crowded!! Def a place that looks like a Sat every day of the week during the on season (summer). Gorgeous beach if you can find a spot, and goes into Bethany beach. Parking isn’t awful believe it or not, I was there on a Tues afternoon but the beach was PACKED and so was the boardwalk, lines everywhere and managed to find a spot within 10 mins by a meter. So def get there early to get a spot on the sand esp near water bc people have umbrellas all the way to the boardwalk was so glad we paid for the week pass at Assateague Island Seashore bc we had a football field of sand and ocean all to ourselves, so gorgeous and saw the horses both days we went.
*Prepare w GOOD sunblock and hats/umbrellas, seriously I travel and the Keys in FL & the Grand Canyon in AZ this year in the 90°+ the sun didn’t feel this hot, the uv rays are REAL here‼ so please be prepared esp w children/elderly.
(We burned thru 45 spf cream w 100 waterproof sport spf spray on & put it on 2x within 4 hrs but still burned as if we laid out there without anything for a half hour had to go to Walmart for medicated aloe gel & after sun lotion .. super strong uv rays).
It was alright. In terms of the beach itself, it was incredibly crowded and the boardwalk is noisy and packed. I much preferred walking around the town and exploring the small shops which reminded me of New Smyrna Beach in Flordia.
I went there in the morning. It was nice.
The beach was so crowded, it was awful
I really enjoyed this beach for years, but after my last visit I’ll never return. Within three minutes of arriving at the beach, I was approached by two separate lifeguards for two separate “infractions.” The first was for being in the water a few feet beyond a barrier (something other people were doing and when I asked the lifeguard why I was the only one singled out she claimed she “hadn’t seen them”). Another lifeguard made me dismantle my sun tent for being bigger than beach standards, even though when I took a short walk up the beach to compare, I saw people with similarly sized tents or bigger not being policed and forced to take them down. Again, both of these separate incidents occurred within MOMENTS of us arriving on the beach. Our toes were barely in the sand. Rehoboth Beach does not enforce rules equally or fairly; they’re selective about it and you can guess whom they “select” for violating the rules. The entire staff needs implicit bias training and frankly, to get over themselves. This is not a beach to be enjoyed by all families.
17. All Saint’s Parish Thrift Shop
Address: 20673 Coastal Hwy, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
Reasonable prices .. clean .. nice friendly helpful staff … very well organized… great place overall pretty big store
Always a great find to be had.
Well organized, clean and friendly. Top notch, great prices and best of all your purchases are going to help others.
Always fine so nice treasure
Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, this thrift shop has frequent sales bringing already low prices down by 25%. Shirts typically go for $4, dresses $6. Lots of clothes but also furniture and household goods as well. Saw a very ornate picture frame that would probably cost hundreds new for $30. Deals to be had!
As with all thrift stores, it’s hit or miss. Walk in on a day when it’s 50% or 75% off what you’re looking for and you do great. New items coming in all the time so check in frequently.
Horrible service today
Been here a few times, each time I find an item I can’t live without, but no price. Each time I’m told no price can’t sell. Then I’m told the person who prices (there seems to be only one) is not in and not sure when they will be. Huh? After the second time this happened I decided it’s not worth my time to fight to get a price and haven’t been back since.
Whole place smells like an ashtray
18. Frantic Frets Music Store & Antiques Shop Milton, Delaware
Address: 26370 Broadkill Rd, Milton, DE 19968 , Rehoboth Beach , Delaware , United States
We bought our grandson a guitar here. We arrived in a huge group, but the owner was fantastic. My grandson was very pleased!
Great people – nice selection of used guitars and amps.
Al was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to talk to! I purchased a small portable Fender bass amp for a fantastic price! I highly recommend a visit to this stringed instrument “candy” store!
Great music
The owners are very nice and super accommodating. A little something for everyone
A lot of stuff in a small space.

Amazing staff!!!! The young ladies that helped me today were nothing short of amazing. They also upsold which is awesome!!!
Ok
Very helpful staff, two different people scoured the store for me finding treasures for my daughter. They bought our several suggestions they thought she would like. I found the store a bit pricey but overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend the store.
Clean store. Were greeted as soon as we walked in. When we picked up a sale item we were walked back over and shown that we could save more money and get free things.
The employees are very rude. Would not recommend this location to anyone unless you want to be ignored
No hats in my size and the cashier never bother to help me she just talked to her friend and acted bothered she had to service me
Barely any merchandise, employees are great thou
