I call for appointment and I got it for next day. My flute was repaired and tested in 15 minutes. Excellent service, friendly and very reasonable price. Definitely I will back.
Scott has been repairing my sousaphones for a few years now. He’s very knowledgeable in all kinds of instrument repairs. I’m very happy with his work. Excellent customer service
Scott is just a saint. Highly recommend.
I wish I never brought my sax here. 🙁
*WATCH OUT!*
Had my sax for over a month!!!! Was supposed to be a 2week job. Never contacted me – at 3weeks I called him and he started pulling this “a couple more days” thing. Then after several days of that he finally said it was done and ready to pick up, and arranged a time to come get it – and the morning of our appointment he canceled again!!! That was yesterday.
DO NOT BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT HERE!
*I’m a saxophone teacher, by the way.
Better to go anywhere else – anywhere.
I am warning you all.*
This morning about an hour ago I finally got the saxophone back. And only because I was forced to have to seriously threaten him with coming down with police to get my saxophone out of his possession.
After more than 1month, with only a 2week estimated wait, HE NEVER EVEN STARTED WORK! I honestly cannot believe this. The sax is in the same condition as when I dropped it off. My clarinet repair person would never ever be like this. I’ve never had anything like this from anyone, except here.
He said directly to me on the phone several days ago that he had already finished most of the work and was just was getting keys back on lining that up.
HE WILL ACTUALLY LIE TO YOU!
After threatening to come down with police if he canceled the appointment again, instead of continuing to blow me off, he decided to drive to my house & leave the sax behind our gate. He was literally just holding the saxophone away from me for a month when I could have dropped it off with real professionals somewhere and have had it back nice & fixed weeks ago.
*This is not a storefront, this literally is just the one repair guy working out of his garage.* Which is fine, but he’s coming off as a storefront. That address listed is his house, he works there.
Won’t fix your instrument if it’s a big project, will just keep blowing it off.
This is not a legitimate repair place for gigging or teaching professionals nor for serious students.
I wished none of this happened. I really really wish I never brought my sax here. I wanted to find a good legit repair tech. This is NOT that. NOT AT ALL.
2. Rosa Musical Instrument
Address: 9674 Telstar Ave e, El Monte, CA 91731 , Rosemead , California , United States
BUEN LUGAR MUY BIEN ATENDIDO Y LO QUE BUSQUE LO ENCONTRE VASTO CON UNA LLAMADA GRACIAS
No wonder this musical store got a high rate on the google review. I purchased a couple of guitars several years ago from them. They always provide excellent customer services. Whenever I had problems with the musical instruments, they were able to find a solution/suggestions for me. Even since I have been coming back to them when I need to buy new instruments. All my children’s instruments were from them. They are very trustworthy and the instruments they sell are very affordable. Although they are not top quality, but they are very good for students who just start to learn. Rosa Musical is my go-to place for all my musical instruments needs. Rosa , the owner and Lilly, the store manager, are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great place love it really good service Lilly lee helped me a lot!
It’s a fantastic location with excellent service. Lilly Lee was so helpful!

The best educational and music school for our K to 6 children and they have been the business for 30 years. I know many friends’ kids also went there for MPM and after school program and getting excellent results.
Not bad musical teachers
Wish to be able to understand. If you’re looking for some peace, do not hesitate to stop by

Staff is friendly when they want to. Like every retail store though I’m sure they get annoyed by all the people coming in.
The employee was knowledgeable and helping! I bought the right mixer thanks to their help!
Poor customer service unfriendly and not helpful
Would be nice if they answered their phones ever so you don’t waste your time driving over there. Even worse customer service in person … don’t waste your time
Nice place.I was free to take pictures.Employees very polite
9. Wood Note Music Inc
Address: 3018 Durfee Ave Suite A, El Monte, CA 91732 , Rosemead , California , United States
Professional service.
Lots of piano and violin collections in stock.
Lots of classical music books in stock.
Good price, and friendly finance plan is provided.
A woman took care of us during our transaction. We opted to rent due to our child being small and will most likely move on to a bigger violin soon. She was very helpful and friendly with our two kids.
We love Mr. Lee’s service.
Nice friendly store with so so selections
Nice service, great selections of musical instruments and accessories. Reasonable prices. Music lessons available. Ask for Harold, he is very helpful and patience.
Ms. Lee is a great piano teacher. She’s very patient with my two daughters.
My review is based mostly on my customer service experience. I went in and told the young lady behind the desk that I was looking to rent a cello for lessons. She asked what size and I told her I did not know, that this was all new to me but it would be for me (an adult). She then told me the cost. I asked if I could hear the different cellos. In reading up on renting a cello, one article recommended that you hear the cello so that you could judge by the sound which one you prefer. It also indicated that the cost and quality of the cello is often reflected in the sound. The young lady looked at me as if I was crazy and asked what I meant by could I hear them. I explained to her that I wanted to judge the sound of the different cellos and she told me that for student cellos there is just one. I then asked her if the rental came with the bow and rosin and if there was anything else I would need. She then told me the rental came with the bow but she didn’t know what else I needed because she didn’t play. Hmmm…. not really helpful I thought. So I again leaned on the information I had read up on and asked to purchase the rosin and a beginners book. The young lady went and got the cello and book. I then asked her if the instrument would be tuned or if that was extra. She looked a little surprised and then told me it would be tuned. Then she proceeded to turn the knobs on the cello and pick at the strings. I thought to myself, just two seconds ago you told me you don’t know anything about the cello, you don’t play and don’t know what i need to begin lessons but now I’m supposed to trust you are tuning the instrument? She then handed it back to me and said, “it’s tuned”. We filled out the paperwork and she ran my card. I repeatedly looked her in the face and smiled, first because it is polite, second because I am depending on her for assistance and third, I was hoping to evoke some professional courtesy from here. It didn’t work. She handed me my rental agreement and looked back down at what she was doing. There was no attempt to educate me or provide me with any helpful information in any way. Most specialty services will offer a little bit of advice or recommendations when assisting a first time shopper or novice in the field the service is being offered. Not here. Not the warmest or most customer friendly experience. Hopefully, my lessons (which will be taken elsewhere) will be more enjoyable.
Rude! I went to buy a book for violin and they yelled at me and my sister because my sister just told her the total of money she was giving them. NEVER GO THERE!!!!!
12. Amazing Arts & Music Center-Arcadia
Address: 1207 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007 , Rosemead , California , United States
I am the manager for LA Fitness, and also a musician. I didn’t know that I had a music store in my shopping center. I had to replace strings for my mandolin. They replaced the strings, and communicated with me to let me know when they finished. This music store is a hidden gem in Arcadia. They even give music lessons
attitude.
为什么我去了两次,都不开门?不知道从哪里进,打电话也不接?
Hours posted on their website say open 11am-8pm on a Monday but they are closed and it’s only 6:30pm. Previous experiences here have been pleasant.
No one picks up the phone. I tried over different time of the year and no one ever picks up. Hard to find out if they are open before going there.
13. music repair store
Address: 1220 Santa Anita Ave, South El Monte, CA 91733 , Rosemead , California , United States
I was not happy with the staff and displays in the middle of the main isles. I am new to this store and location and I am learning the variations of personalities and attitudes. VERY different from my normal area.
Rude employees. They seemed to want to do everything but help a customer
I check on line for Systane Long Lasting Dry Eye Lubricant Eye Drops $14.99, and Rosemead target have more stocks, but, the price on the store will be $17.19 when I got there. Target, please more carefully, keep your price tag on the store and Ad at the same price.
Lots of shelves empty in personal care and drug dept.
15. Neighborhood Music School, Inc.
Address: 25 S 1st Ave, Arcadia, CA 91006 , Rosemead , California , United States
Wonderful teachers with accommodating schedules and excellent individual instruction. The staff is welcoming and polite. My daughters are quite happy with their teachers and enjoy learning about music as a result. Quite pleased we found Neighborhood Music School!
We started using their Mandarin tutoring this semester and it’s been wonderful! Our tutor, Susan, is exceptional! My boys always look forward to seeing her and their Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing has improved exponentially. We’re very happy with our experience with Neighborhood school.
That’s great place to learn the music and all kind of instruments, the teachers there are enthusiastic and well-trained, they have trail lesson for free, suggest everyone go and try.
I recently signed my daughter up for violin lessons with an instructor at Neighborhood Music School in August. Upon signing her up, I filled out all of the requisite paperwork and was given the name of an instructor who would be responsible for teaching my daughter. I did not get to meet the instructor that day, which was not a problem. The following day, I went back in to confirm the name of the instructor and get his contact information so that I could book my daughter’s first lesson. The staff had a difficult time locating my paperwork so that the registration fee and lesson fee could be paid for (which was inconvenient, but not a major problem). The staff member was able to locate my paperwork and then schedule my daughter for a lesson. That week I was contacted by the instructor, Albert Romero. He confirmed our appointment for Sunday, September 2nd at 1:00 p.m. On Sunday, Mr. Romero canceled my daughter’s lesson at 9:40 a.m. via text message stating that he needed to cancel the lesson due to the Labor Day holiday. I responded and informed him that I needed at least a twenty-four hour notice from him if a lesson needed to be canceled to accommodate my schedule. I also asked him when we could reschedule my daughter’s first lesson. Mr. Romero did not respond to that message until today (I do not recall him contacting me since our exchange on Sunday, September, 2nd). Mr. Romero informed me today that he would no longer be teaching for Neighborhood Music School and that I should look into possibly retaining another instructor for my daughter. I informed Mr. Romero that I had canceled my daughter’s lessons with Neighborhood Music School. I also let him know that in the future it would behoove him to keep in better contact with his clients. He responded by saying he did not need my advice and thank you. I responded in return by telling him that due to his erratic communication pattern, he actually did need my advice. His next text said, “I hope you find what you are looking for.” I texted him back and told him I hope he treats his clients better in the future. As I mentioned before, I went and canceled my daughter’s lesson with Neighborhood Music School this past week before my unfortunate exchange with Mr. Romero. I do not know the name of the gentleman who assisted me with the cancellation of my daughter’s lessons, but both times I had dealings with him, he was very pleasant and did his utmost to make my experiences positive. During the cancellation process, he sincerely apologized for Mr. Romero’s erratic and irresponsible behavior, and offered me the opportunity to look into another instructor for my daughter. I declined his offer (because Mr. Romero’s behavior did not particularly reflect well on this business, so I will look elsewhere). He immediately refunded my payments for the registration and lesson fees and e-mailed me a receipt of the transaction with an additional apology. He apologized for the inconvenience and Mr. Romero’s behavior once again before I left the store and thanked me for my business. While I was not pleased with the overall result of my experience at Neighborhood Music School, I was very appreciative of the service that I received from this gentleman. He was very professional and concerned about my experience and did his best rectify the situation. I do not want this review to unnecessarily sour anyone’s opinion of this establishment. Up until I had to deal with Mr. Romero’s casual attitude about cancelling my daughter’s lesson and then not contacting me until several days later, my experiences here were very routine and pleasant. I would hope in the future that Neighborhood Music School will be a little more proactive in the way they monitor how reliable their instructors are and how serious they are in meeting the needs of their clientele.
16. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 1827 Walnut Grove Ave, Rosemead, CA 91770 , Rosemead , California , United States
I went to buy some stuff. Needed a case for a camera and I was waiting in the line for around 30 minutes. Can’t believe that they need around 4 people for one customer. Then a couple of guys were very rude saying that we had to make the line, even, if you just need one thing. Guys, don’t forget the customer service, if you are not having a good day, sorry, but is not our business. Ty.
Charcoal in garden center and no lighter fluid. Had to go back to store after I purchased everything I needed and buy charcoal lighter.
It’s a Wal-Mart…no surprises. If you’re looking for plants (living), don’t consider this an option. They had perhaps 10 indoor plants (not 10 varieties, 10 actual plants) and they looked like they were on their last leg (or leaf).
沒有地方停車,車位常常客滿, 廁所衛生條件很差,
This place sucks as much as the workers there
Every time I visit someone near here, Google asks me how I enjoyed Walmart. Maybe if I write something, it will stop asking?
I don’t shop at Walmart. The company spent over half a million dollars to elect some of the most incompetent city council members in the county. The lying liars will not be getting any money from me. So stop asking me how I enjoyed my visit to Walmart!
