Such a great place to spend time checking out all of the things! Love the arrangement and the nooks!
Fun place…enjoy seeing all the antiques
Honestly I wouldn’t visit again I’m into vintage soda advertising pieces like signs, lights, cardboard signs, clocks etc… but I did enjoy my visit seeing all the intact magazines containing Coca Cola Ads. I’ve never seen so many all in one place.
Great spot for lunch!

Great staff! Always helpful, and smiles are not held back!
I love the store
😉
In convenient placing
Friendly staff. Clean. Wide variety. A little pricier than other grocers.
Limited selections of meat and fresh produce.
If it is not on sale, plan on it being very expensive. Just an average grocery store.
Food is so overpriced. I have to double check the dates all the time as the merchandise is always outdated. Half the staff is so unfriendly, they talk to each other instead of with customer. It’s sad.
Over priced

Very good guitar store they got good guitars i had an good experience they guitar were clean and tuned would recommend
Great store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Probably my favorite guitar shop
Two location. If they don’t have what you need here try the store in Collinsville.
Staff is nice. Small store, but if they don’t have it, they order it and get it to you within a couple days.
I use to be an avid customer. But I am growing more and more frustrated with the management. I feel like I’m going into a sleazy used car dealership most the time and I am treated like a waking wallet. I’ve bought some guitars and amps there, so I am (or was) returning customer . The employees act fake and I feel like everyone is treated like they are a child. I was going in there to look around if there was any new stock, the employee kept on hovering and was forcing me to play the instrument I didn’t want to try.
Honestly, go to mojos. This place is as unpleasant as a guitar center
Was at the Edwardsville store this afternoon and one of the employees was very unhelpful and rude. Instead of helping he just told me everything was out of my price range. He doesn’t know me or how much money I had in my pocket. Will never go back!.
12. Schuyler County Fair
Address: 200 E Scripps St, Rushville, IL 62681 , Rushville , Illinois , United States
I go for the tractor pulls. Always put on a great show.
Went to see Travis Tritt in concert. The price was good, and if you don’t want to stand on the track you can get a good view from the grandstand.
Nice fireworks and derby
Plenty of activities
It’s a county fair , all the fair eats and it’s 100 degrees in July .
Way to expensive. All rides for kids should be free paying that much. The food ain’t what it use to be couple yrs back. Sorry but this fair is slowly fading away. Better off wait for state fair an its cheaper
blows
Boring same old stuff year after year.
To win anything you must know “certain” people.
13. Swing City Music Co
Address: 1811 Vandalia St, Collinsville, IL 62234 , Rushville , Illinois , United States
George, the guitar tech was excellent and a huge help in fixing my guitar. I took it the the big box store out of town and they couldn’t figure out my problem! George was most helpful and I am a customer of their’s now for life! All the staff was helpful!
Great customer service. No pressure sales. Great prices. Will use Swing City for future guitar purchases. Thank you guys!
Awesome store reasonable prices on most things. I think the store closes to Early though but that’s OK and its in my area.
A good old school music store.
It’s a really good place. Sorry, we were the ones that crashed intk the building
You are crazy if you think these people would for some reason actually try to help a guy who has in the last year has spent a great deal of money with them. I plan on telling every musician I come across to stay away. Don’t wast your time with them or there repair men. Terrible
The entrance was beautiful the photos of all the different artist and musicians was wonderful and gave me an idea of what I could be some day. I was greeted appropriately, and they answered all my questions, but that was just what they did. They didn’t ask any further questions or give me a reason to be there and learn about the infinite possibilities of music from them and their instructors. It seemed like their knowledge of music and instruments had become just a job.
This place is so bad I’d rather go to guitar center and I hate guitar center. They are fine if you’re just going for lesson but if you’re doing any type of business seriously save yourself the trouble and go to any other local store or guitar center.
14. Don’s Music Land
Address: 7717 N University St STE A, Peoria, IL 61614 , Rushville , Illinois , United States
Stopped by the new place (at least to me) while we were back in town. Wish we could have a guitar store like this where I live. I kept finding interesting stuff to check out.
Helpful staff who know their stuff.
The people here really care about music, instruments, and the customer. They’re very flexible when it comes to financing and have a great selection. Their available lessons are especially great! Never would have thought someplace would give viola lessons in ol Peoria.
Gd selection

16. Mojo’s Music
Address: 144 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025 , Rushville , Illinois , United States
Mojo’s Music is the best. They are welcoming and super helpful to everyone that walks in. They have great inventory. The owner, Tom, went out of his way to track down a particular limited edition Breedlove acoustic for me. I’ve done a number of trade-ins with Mojo’s, and they are always fair and honest when assessing the gear I bring in and beyond reasonable with the deals they offer. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I live in the city, and it’s worth the 35 minute drive to get over to Edwardsville. I can’t recommend Mojo’s enough. Whether you’re buying your first starter guitar or buying an heirloom quality instrument, Mojo’s is the place.
First time ive been in this store my experience was great! Ive been in the market for a Guild guitar for afew years and they are the only Guild dealer in the area. Very reasonable on trade in equipment, not top dollar but better than the insulting Guitar Center. They were willing to negotiate on the purchase which is nice. Easy transaction in and out in 20 minutes. The main thing was the cleanliness of the store and the quality control of their instraments i played 3 guitars and all of the were in tune with newer strings. All the guitars were in brand new condition and well kept, you WILL NOT get that at Guitar Center. Very cool guys one on one customer service! They will be my first choice in the STL area from now on for sure! MoJos then Swing City please dont waste your money at Guitar Center!
Great service. Very friendly and helpful. This was my first time there, but I will be a return customer.
Lots of inventory and they are willing to deal
Fun shop for sure! Eye candy hanging on all the surrounding walls. The shop’s main focus is guitars so it’s definitely the place to go if that’s your go to instrument. Workers are knowledgeable and always very helpful. It’s no breaking news that guitar shops tend to give off awkward, intimidating vibes (understandably so when you visit any shop with high pricetagged merch) and I do have to try and hide my feelings of squirminess while there, but I enjoy going and will continue to.
I went in to get my guitar repaired, the staff members sat at the counter and talked and ignored me for several minutes. Then after they finally looked at my guitar it turned out to be a very expensive repair so I decided to just buy a new guitar. One would think this would be cue to start selling a guitar, instead they ignored me some more and made me feel awkward for playing any guitar they had. So I went to swing city music right down the road and they instantly came to help and found a guitar that was right for me.
After years of taking time off from playing music, band break up really made me step away, I’ve decided to look around for a new guitar and rig, have gone to Mojo’s, have purchase three terrific instruments from them in the past 15 years, never had a bad experience, today, however, was not the same. I walked into a store deflated of its prior pulse, I was seen and ignored, walked around looking for what would be my next stage guitar. Two employees, yet no time to greet, or attempt to make a sale, to show products, I even made an attempt by asking what’s new, even then not a singular spark of interest in my affairs with them was of significance. I walked out of there for the last time, sad to see such a place become so cold and uninviting.
