Couldn’t be happier with the work that Jason did on my bass. He was incredibly accommodating and very generous with his time. In addition to doing an excellent fingerboard dressing for me, he fixed things I didn’t even know were wrong/off with my bass! 10/10 repair shop IMO.
I was very pleased on the work they did on my Kay, I,m in love with my new bridge, my new pick up and the repair on the end ping couldn,t been better, Tammy was very kind to me and gave me a good deal , I would definitely state that Lemur is the Best double Double Bass place in the U.S.
I don’t shop here nor refer people here. I used to refer my students, friends to Lemur.
I was with a student, picking out his first
‘real’ bass and the sales person had the audacity to tell him/his Mother that they needed a new bass teacher, right in front of me. We did not know each other. Completely unprofessional. Had the sales person talked to them privately, then so be it
Now I refer to Uptonbass.com

Always way friendly Super Outgoing and Knowledgable, very fair prices and Comfortable atmosphere. Highly Recommend!!
We love Power Plant Records. We get our records and musical instrument supplies here. The kids have violin, piano, voice, guitar and drum lessons here too and all of the teachers are amazing!!
Super cool record store. The owner was very sweet!
Decent selection of records and 45’s. I bought two 45’s. No acknowledgment of my presence until I paid. Owner was in a meeting in some back room. I had to call him out. Prices are good on the 45’s, paid just a buck each on near mint copies. Recommended for vinyl collectors.
Pretty small place. The selection was decent. There were four people working but I was completely ignored up until I went up to pay for my record. Even then, they read me the total and that was the extent of our interaction. It didn’t seem like they needed the business.
Not much to look at.
Little inventory

Just bought a very nice RSD Doors album from them and the owner was very friendly and helpful. He even suggested another store in Orange County where I could get some help on setting up a vintage Quad system. Nice little store , has a huge inventory and very organized.
Great selection and friendly staff.
Great place!
They’re a great place for a variety of records and contribute a lot to the local schools.
Lots of old records. Expensive, but that was to be expected.
Cool place. Decent prices. Slightly cheaper than average. High quality used and eclectic choices. Very good jazz selection. Mind you it’s small but he makes up for that in good taste. Very well organized.

Corey is a life saver. Not only is he teaching my family to play drums but he also put together our brand new drum set in about an hour. It would have probably taken us 8 hours. He gave us plenty of tips and tricks and is an amazing teacher and drums player.
Corey is the best! In need of drum lessons, repairs, awesome new products, a good hang, and more? Look no further! Corey does it all!
I have been studying the Drums/Percussion under the tutelage of Corey for over 12+ years and I cannot say enough about my amazing teacher! Corey listens and plays an active role, engaging in the lives of others while helping students pursue their potential.
Corey is a great friend, mentor, family man, role model and an amazing person to be around! As well as being a profound musician not only on the drums, Corey also plays Bass Guitar, teaches multiple drum camps, and builds his own drums and accessories! He enriches the lives of others through his shared love and passion for music!
As an actively touring/recording musician, I currently use Corey’s “Quiet Core” drum sticks and Custom Bass Drum beaters in the studio and on stage! His commitment to quality, durability, craftsmanship, practicality and hospitality is unmatched in the industry. I am blown away by every single product that he touches. Corey has a knack for woodworking so expect to get only the best!
Corey’s steadfast love and dedication to the drums is unparalleled and I wouldn’t be where I am today without his help.
If you are in the Orange County / Southern California area, make sure to swing by Rancho Canyon Music to see Corey! You might even catch him with a boba in hand!
Check out his band “Home Is West” on your preferred listening platform! My favorite songs of theirs are “Sooner Or Later”, “The Moment”, “About A Girl”, and their entire ‘Home Is West EP’ !
6 out of 5 stars!
You heard it here
