Not that cheap. They buy your equipment at half market value. I know they have to make a profit but that’s rediculous.
The people here are friendly and actually go out of their way to help ,i went in looking for a good tubed head and they had it brought in from their Berkley store ,all in all i was satisfied with my experience
Hit or miss… Where are all the synths? 😉
Been a customer for over 25 years. Today I dealt with an employee (Joe) who did two things that weren’t in his job description: being arrogant and smirking at the customer. I entered the store happy, I left disappointed and sad (rather than mad).
In short, the staff is nice and friendly before a sale, but apparently they’ll come up with whatever excuse to avoid a return or exchange, something I hadn’t had to deal with before… and here it came the arrogance I didn’t deserve as a customer.
So maybe come here to buy stuff that will work. Otherwise, Guitar Center is two blocks away, and Amazon employees don’t usually smirk at their customers, and neither will give you nonsense excuses when the stuff they sold didn’t work as it should.
I’m no guitar tech, but next time someone tries to sell a guitar don’t insult the person. Thanks for the advice. I will polish it and take it to guitar center, they told me it was rare.
Service was pretty poor. Instead of asking us if we need any help, the staff member just pointed out that they will be closing soon. So we went to guitar center and bought one there.

Took my guitar there for a setup recently. Staff was friendly, price seemed alright, got the guitar back the next day.
I’m no guitar expert, but I can tell it sounds better now! No-one left to blame but my own lack of skills now. Time for more practice!
No complaints. Its my favorite place to shop with no pressure to buy (unlike the smaller shops).
Found what I needed very easy. Right Infront of the door!
Excellent excellent excellent small variety of stuff you would think would be bigger but I enjoyed it each and every time I come over and check out their guitars and drums and keyboards and end up buying a pack of strings it’s the best
Nice and clean.
Huge selection
CALLED THERE TO GET THE PART, AND LEFT A MESSAGE IN PERSON TO REPAIR DEPT OF COURSE, THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK AS TRADITIONAL LAZY AMERICAN’S BEHAVIOR
Total waste of space. They put All their guitars under locks where you have to get a salesman for every single guitar you want to try out. What’s the damn point of going to a guitar shop where you can’t even hold the guitar without assistance.
Guitar Center has turned into garbage.
I used to go here for pro audio and DJ equipment but that section is bare bones now. Go here for guitars and other love instruments for sure but as far as live pa sound and DJ equipment goes… Lacking

I’ve been talking piano with Jim for about 3 1/2 years.
It’s become an important and consistent part of my life. It never ceases to amaze me how passionate, considerate, and capable Jim is as a teacher.
My piano learning and overall piano playing would be in a much sadder and much sorrier state had I the misfortune of finding a different teacher + studio.
I cannot strongly recommend enough.
I went from knowing almost nothing to digging into Chopin, Bartok, and whatever else I drag to class in an exceedingly short timeframe.
I’ve been taking group Ukulele lessons from Richard Hawthorne for about 2 years, initially in a beginner class and now through a series of continuation classes (currently all online due to the Covid-19 pandemic). Rich impresses me with his ability to convey musical concepts and techniques to students having a wide range of music backgrounds, from the deep to the very shallow. Rich also exudes warmness and positivity. I can honestly say I learn at least one useful thing I apply to my practice each and every class.
Haven’t tried it but it looks awesome
Good Guitarist centre
4. Dean Markley Strings

Until recently my dealings with Dean Markley was nothing less than enjoyable. In October of 2015 they placed an order with the company I’ve been working with for parts to assemble the reputable, well known products they’ve come to be associated with. I called the CEO personally and was told if I wanted to be reimbursed they wanted to see the invoices- after these were sent it became a game of “catch me if you can.” With a company that was such a pioneer- making the voice box effects pedal used by Peter Frampton etc.- I was simply assuming they weren’t billed correctly. Now after having seen with my own eyes the total disregard for their clients and vendors, I can’t look at the company the same. The company they ordered the parts from has been around since the start of WWII in 1939- it specializes in turned types of products commonly machined by lathe type machines. I’m saddened with the apathy shown by their CEO and everyone within their corporate office. I don’t know if you’ll experience any problems just ordering strings or their usual products, but I do know that they don’t pay their vendors. Cool company but it used to be great.

Top guy, gave me a fair price for what I had was completely honest even though we worked across the state. There isn’t a shop in Texas who knows more, or at least I’ve known. I want to shake your hand and thank you!
Amazing service
