Today I went in looking for a magazine for a 30-06savage rifle. I have been looking for one for over a year and a half and none of the local gun stores in Bulloch or Screven county could get their hands on one. I’m not knocking them because apparently this magazine is extremely hard to come by. But the young man who helped me went above and beyond to find what I was looking for. He called me within 10 minutes of leaving the store saying he can get it for me. I don’t know his name but all I know is he’s a fellow military Veteran like myself. I want to say thank you and if I have future business I’ll go to him first.

Great people, customer service and knowledge is the reason I chose to purchase here.
Nice place and friendly staff
Great customer service! Nice people!
Friendly staff but very expensive
I’ve done business here in the past because of it being a small town I have had work done to my things I didn’t ask for and was charged! I dropped off something to them 2 weeks ago and still have had time to look it up easy fix I could do it if I had time! Had a friend drop off something of mine along with there stuff and they got it back fast still again replaced things I didn’t ask for I don’t know how everyone gets good customer service I don’t see it not with me I’m nice as I can be and very respectful when I got in or call I don’t ever leave bad reviews but no way am I going to do business here again or recommend anyone
3. Family Dollar
Address: 311 W Ogeechee St, Sylvania, GA 30467 , Screven County , Georgia , United States
It’s improving.. friendlier staff now. It’s always my one stop shop!
Good place
Nice staff
I got there at 9:40pm and was told they were closed the door was locked! They yelled from inside they were closed, I said I just need to grab some medicine your website, door, and google say you close at 10. She rolled her eyes at me and said not today!
Ugh. Family Dollar’s have become trashy in general, but this is by far the worst one I’ve ever seen!!!! It’s shockingly disastrous!!!
The employees were yelling gor each other it was a mess
4. Little Dipper Coffee and Ice Cream
Address: 103 N Main St, Sylvania, GA 30467 , Screven County , Georgia , United States
Wonderful experience! My kids absolutely love the ice cream and milk shakes! The atmosphere is great as well!
We love Little Dippers! They have excellent drinks and always have fun seasonal choices!
I needed a mid-afternoon pick me up. The coffee was good … would have been better if it were a little stronger. The employee was very nice.
Had a great ice cream cone here with my grandson! Had a great visit with a young man sharing the history of the business. That was almost a year ago. Felt really at home. So comfortable on a Sat afternoon. This visit was to try the coffee. Started at the Gym 2 weeks ago & took note traffic in & out with coffee cups. Decided to try it. Disappointed with service. Disappointed with coffee. frappe caramel. Seemed watered down. No real coffee flavor. Treated my friend. She got a cappuccino. When asked what flavor. She said Hazelnut. The receipt shows she asked for extra flavoring. A charge of .75 was added for extra. But she did not ask for extra. She said her coffee was very weak also. Maybe I had my hopes too high after my first visit a year ago. I got a cup of Hot coffee from McDonalds & added it to my cup. Disappointed.
Tiny cold sandwiches Unpleasantly surprised.
Was very excited to try this place, disappointed to find they’ve cut back their hours and haven’t updated their listing.
I will never have a drink from here again
5. De Loach’s Music & Sound
Address: 1196 Northside Dr E, Statesboro, GA 30458 , Screven County , Georgia , United States
I love this place because I am a musician and they have the best quality instruments
Excellent customer service!
They got everything . and helpful
Ive bought well over 700 dollars worth of stuff from there. Its a great music store but the owner always seems in a bad mood. Kinda ruins the music shopping experience. Good place though
Today my boyfriend went to look at some guitars to purchase. After playing a few, he was trying to decide which guitar and amplifier he liked the best together. The associate came up to my boyfriend and proceeded to tell him “This is not a practice room”. No one told my boyfriend that the music was too loud or that he could not play the instruments. He has gone in on multiple occasions looking for the perfect guitar and amplifier without running into this issue before. He put back the guitar and amplifier without purchasing them or the guitar that I was wanting to purchase as well. If the associate had not come across so rude, we would have liked to purchase everything that was being played at that time as well as a few more pieces.
Prices higher than other local music stores. Good selection of acoustic guitars, mediocre selection of electric guitars, effect pedal selection rarely updated. Decent selection of Mesa amps but inventory for other brands is lacking.
Owner is rude, and there isn’t much selection of cool stuff. Overpriced for the same stuff you could get at guitar center, or online somewhere. I don’t understand how stores like this one are still in business in 2018.
I guess the owner wasn’t the guy who was rude. Maybe an employee who claimed to be in charge.
I absolutely WAS in the store with one of my buddies. We were both unimpressed. They have a “please ask for assistance” tag on almost every guitar in the store. Even on the low end fenders. As far as the prices, there are regular sales online, and at big box retailers such as Guitar Center. I’ve seen much better prices on most of the Fender guitars they have in stock at this place.
I AM reviewing a bunch of places I’ve been to lately, but there would be NO reason to give a poor review if I didn’t feel as though it warranted a poor review. That makes no sense. Look at my reviews of places like Jimmy’s Vintage Music, and Sam Ash music in Clearwater Florida.
The service on the phone was horrible. The person was very rude! I asked him if he was having a bad day. A few days later my husband went inside to check on an order, the service was the same. If you can help it please go somewhere else in town or drive the extra miles and go to Savannah or Pooler. Its well worth it! I wish I could have given 0 stars.
I’m giving you a 2 for selection and a big 0 for lack of service, you just lost a sale.
Just because someone doesn’t look like a musician doesn’t mean that they aren’t

Great people
These guys go beyond customer service! By far the best music shop in town. They are always there to help with whatever need you
Might have that day. Good bunch of guys!
All around good service, comfortable place to sit down and talk about music or experiences from different musicians, feels right at home
Awsome atmosphere… Very helpful staff and a large selection of guitars… The kind of place you might just want to hang out…
It don’t play
I bought a Chris Mitchell guitar for my husband as a surprise for Christmas from the owner Chris himself. He gave me a great pitch on the quality of the guitars made in the US the whole deal and how Gibson actually tried to sue him, cut his legs off before he got started as he put it. I thought I got a great deal and was super excited until I read the label inside “handcrafted in China”. I went back to the store to ask about it and was informed the guitar I bought was from there import line.. that was news to me lol not sure why I got the sales pitch on a different guitar then the one I was buying? I definitely feel like I got had if ya know what I mean. We like the guitar overall and are happy with it for a starter but I can’t appreciate people being deceitful. ♀️
I think the guy has psych issues. I don’t trust him or believe him. Stay clear of the place. Take a drive to find better service.
Great place to pick up extra strings or lite music equipment.
Love this place! Lessons are great. Eclectic selection of available instruments to meet customer needs.
I am glad this is in Springfield. It is a great place to have in town. They have a great deal of things in the store and lessons!
Terrible. Only open from 4 to 7 and closed on the weekends. What a joke. They have a great selection of instruments if u can ever get in the store to look them over. I take it this place must be for middle and high School kids to practice.
13. Redbox
Address: 1109 W Ogeechee St, Sylvania, GA 30467 , Screven County , Georgia , United States
We went by to get an ice cream cone and their machine was working! It made our day!
Great food for the price
It’s McDonald’s
Typical McDonald’s.
McDonald’s is good but I know we went through the drive-through one night and set there for 15-20 minutes get our order taken and when she finally comes the speaker she said sorry we’re closed and they close at 11 when she could come on there when she’s outside at the speaker and told us ahead of time instead of are sitting there waiting
I didn’t get my order, I got somebody else’s order. And when I went to return it they got a attitude with me and gave me my order which was cold and it did not have any bacon and I order a bacon chicken Deluxe it was cold we also ask for iced tea and they gave us lemonade wasting my money horrible experience drive through
The sweet tea was straight sugar and water. Get my daughters kids meal open it and instead of putting her nuggets I’m a box they threw them in the bottom of the kids pack box and put the empty nugget box on top.
Always check your order. They mess up part of mine every time I visit. If there were other fast food options, my family would rarely visit

Our family has used Mr. Roberson’s piano moving and tuning services for decades. Wonderful person, will go out of his way to care for your piano and will not over-charge you. Getting ready to call him to move my massive antique player piano, again. Trust him completely. 5 stars!!!
MR.ROBERSON IS WELL KNOWN IN OUR AREA AND HAS A STERLING REPUTATION!!! HE TUNES A LOT OF PIANOS FOR A LOT OF CHURCHES AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BUT ABSOLUTE PRAISE FOR HIS WORK AND INTEGRITY. I WAS JUST ABOUT TO CALL HIM MYSELF ABOUT A JOB, WHEN I SAW THIS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ RATING SYSTEM AND FELT LIKE SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT. Angie Anderson, Glennville, Ga.
16. DOWNBEAT MUSIC CENTER
Address: 216 U.S. Highway 80 East, Pooler, GA 31322 , Screven County , Georgia , United States
I recommend this place for your stringed instrument needs. Repairs done right. Custom made instruments according to the musicians style. Randy Wood is a wonderful luthier and is passionate about his craft.
This is a great little music shop! Great prices on repairs and they always do a great job. We go there all the time.
I was so happy I went here! I was initially hesitant as I just had a cheap ukelele I needed a string for and thought they would laugh at me :). But they were FANTASTIC!! Made me feel at home, friendly, helpful, and down to earth. Extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to share their knowledge. I was in total awe. Old fashioned customer service that you just don’t find anymore. I will make up excuses just to go back. Highly recommend!!
Good selection and good customer service
A great experience and affordable too.
Cool spot with a great antique righty Gibson acoustic transformed into a lefty that I wish I could afford!
Had a Gibson SG refinished here and it was terrible. Very patchy and uneven coverage. Worst of all was the headstock. I am a little perplexed though, they have many great reviews and other great pictures. The folks there were nice, decent selection of guitars for sale, no other complaints. I’m not sure why my guitar came out so bad.
Terrible service and terrible work.
Would never recommend to anyone.
Stay away!
